While the pharmacy is knowledgeable and very helpful, the night manager is not only ignorant but also belligerent. The only reason I would ever go to this location again Is because the pharmacy is open twenty four hours. Shame on walgreens a national company for employing such a ridiculous person to run their store

This Walgreens on Degaulle is ridiculous, I have been told to come back in 30 minutes for one tube of cream for my grandson, but now I'm in the line over 30 minutes, for 1 car that's been at the drive through, they treat you like scum at this location, they have their picks and chooses, when I use to come here for my pain meds they will loud cap you, and try to let everyone know your getting painkillers, and laugh about, this store need an undercover to really see what they are doing here. I wouldn't advise anyone to come to this location.

Walgreens has really went downhill, and no attempt to improve. Store hasn't been updated in years and understaffed. Always issues with my prescription regardless of what it is. I can't take it anymore

Do not waste your time placing photo gift orders. Their calendar machine doesn’t work and they have no magnets. No one calls or contacts you to inform you of this issue. You only find out when you arrive to pick up your order.

If I could give this place 0, I would. I know nothing about the store but the people that work in the pharmacy are not human beings. They have to be the most rude, dismissive people I have ever met. I’ve had a prescription that was put in days ago and still not filled. When I called to ask why they put me on hold multiple times for 45 min plus before just hanging up on me. When I finally got ahold of someone, all they did was yell at me and talk over me when all I had was a question. These people are awful human beings that need to work where they don’t have to deal with customers. I could hear them talking about me in the background through out my whole call. They are unprofessional and absolutely repugnant. If you ever want your medicine here, don’t. I know the 24 hours seems convenient but these people are literal trash, and not worth any of your time and to the lady who yelled at me “địt mẹ“ to you. :)

This place is a joke you can't even speak to a representative and they feel you prescriptions and don't even tell you then you can't get your medicine because they say you use your refill but yet they put it back on their shelves they are so hateful and rude I can only pray for them

If zeros were possible that's what I could give. This pharmacy is hell on earth and it seems like they try to make you getting the medications you need as much as a chore as they can. The pharmacist here does shoddy work and has made mistakes with my stuff *twice.* They will tell you your script is ready online or on the phone just to have you show up and for them to say that it's not anymore. I have wasted hours at this place and I'm finally getting my stuff together and having my scripts transferred elsewhere.Don't bother with this place. It's the worst.

The doctor phoned in a prescription for my child. I waited two hours before going to pick it up to be told that they didn’t have a prescription for my child. I know when it was called in as I watched the physician call it in. They came back a few minutes later and told me “we just received the prescription.” It will not be ready for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. This is the reason I stopped filling prescriptions at Walgreens. I had no choice this time as they are the only 24 hour pharmacy close to me. I will not use them again!

This Walgreens is literally the worst Walgreens in the city. The staff are so lazy that they will actually make up lies to get you out of the pharmacy. They will tell you that the printer is down and to come back tomorrow. They told me this at 5:30pm. The young ladies who work there are also very rude! Don't believe them if they say their systems are down unless you are physically in the store. They will tell you that just so they don't have to do with you. And when you call and talk to them on the phone, they will hang up several times. Several times.

This pharmacy is definitely rubbish, it says it's 24 hours and they have the door closed. I come in the morning with the prescription that the doctor gave me for my daughter. The lady who was delivering the medicines had a pedantic attitude that because the health insurance address did not come out, I do not recommend this pharmacy. I will never return here.

Needed passport photos yesterday. Walked to photo department and waited about 10mins. The store was busy as usual. We requested someone come to photo department. An older woman with a stank face and horrible attitude walked from the aisle, lifted her hand up and literally asked us WHAT?! Told her what we needed and she said "we don't do that here" I pointed to the various signs in photo department stating "passport photos done here" Everyone knows you can get passport photos at Walgreens. She then told us they don't have the camera. Huh?! We left and went to the Gretna location. The vibe there was completely different. We live above 2mins from this Walgreens but I will never go in there again. This isn't the 1st time either, this Walgreens is trash and so is their customer service.

This has to be the worst run drive thru in existance. Why is any car at the window for 30 minutes? It's pickup and drop off. If it isn't ready send them back around. Why are you here if you haven't received a notification that you prescription is ready? This store needs new management. Simply sad.

The worst pharmacy on earth, it’s is such a central location that we are forced to endure the awful service, beyond unprofessional. Send them to Walmart for training! As I’m standing here writing this review, two cashiers are arguing who should take care of me, and only one customer at the counter in front of me, the beauty of the thing is that the manager is walking back and forth behind them like she’s deaf to the whole argument. Anyway, a necessary evil.

On a good day, the wait is 5 minutes even if nobody is in line. Most days are 15 minutes - although there are about 6 people in the pharmacy, nobody seems to wait on customers. One day, I was told it would take 15 minutes to fill a prescription. After an hour wait, I went back to the counter, after which time they took another 20 minutes (80 minutes total) to fill the prescription. Although no one is discourteous, Customer service is terrible at best.

The cashiers are beyond lazy. I went to pick up a package and the lady was upset she had to actually work to go retrieve it. Oh and she just slams the sign pad to me. She did not even try to hand it to me like a decent human being. I don’t know why Walgreens would hire people who clearly don’t like to work or have basic customer service skills. But I guess being over 50years old and working a cashier job makes you hate the world and decent people in it.

The Worst!!This will be my third month, experiencing slow, unprofessional service. This Walgreens on General De Gaulle in New Orleans has lost my prescriptions, told me it was ready via text when it was not ready to two days after and has is very unorganized with their pharmacy. Their pharmacy wouldn’t transfer my prescriptions or even autorefill my prescriptions because they said it could be done online which my online app doesn’t work when I try online. Worst pharmacy experience ever! I have even asked for my prescriptions to bring to another pharmacy and they couldn’t without my doctors notice but my doctor has received nothing from Walgreens resolving this matter. Should I file an ACLU like the other customers did for this pharmacy?

I dropped off a prescription at this locationtwice only to have the pharmacy staff ignore the prescription twice. Today I personally handed a technician three handwritten prescriptions, went to my Walgreens app later only two find that they were working on just two of them and had no "computer" entry for the third prescription. I was home for the night and already bathed and in pj's but I got up, dressed and returned to the store after being placed on hold and left there. I can understand short staffing, but jeez, at least make sure your customers prescriptions are what they need before you dismiss them. I was being told about the prescriptions that I knew were too soon to be filled but no one could tell me about the one I have been out of for 6 weeks. I also do not believe they hold any too soon prescriptions on file until they can be filled. Don't submit the prescription before it's time. They don't keep a record of the prescription. Very disappointing....

The pharmacist need to do their JOBS and monitor their pharmacy techs! There is no reason that the line should be wrapped around the store, inside and out!! My prescription is NEVER ready! Never! And it’s always Walgreens end messing something up!! Nobody’s prescriptions are ever filled like they are supposed to! Just throw the whole pharmacy away!!

We have had repeated problems with this pharmacy. This is a typical example. They called last week to say my wife's prescripition was ready. I stopped Friday to pick up - they said the doctor had not called and we needed to get the doctor to call them. I asked for a few pills as it was the weekend, and this medicine - Lyrica - is critical for my wife. They refused. There were 6 pharmacists working - 4 on computers, one on the drive-through, one servicing the in-store line. When I got home 5 minutes later, my wife started calling them repeatedly. She could only speak to a robot, and was put on hold for up to an hour, and no human ever answered. We went back to the store Monday after a weekend of suffering. We were told the same - no doctor call, no allowance of a pill or two to see her through. Her doctor had been unresponsive to requests for help, as he could not be reached because when you call the clinic, you speak with a secretary and they will not let you speak with a nurse or your doctor. Why he took over 3 days and still has not called her is a another mystery. We went back to Walgreens at 11:00 pm. My wife was feeling terrible. The night manager of the pharmacy gave her 9 pills. We are changing pharmacies to go with a local, non-chain store staffed by real people who care about medicine.

I tried to print photos a couple of times and the kiosk was broken everytime. The staff at the photo section saw me struggling with it for a few minutes and after I requested help they told me it's broken with an attitude. I went back a couple weeks later (both kiosks still not working btw ) to get passport photos done for my son and they told me they can't do it because their background is broken.The pharmacy takes FOR EVER everytime I'm trying to pick up a prescription and it seems like they never restock their shelves in general.The only good thing I can say is that the cashiers always been super nice, sweet and polite.But other than this, they might as well burn this place down.

It's a Walgreens. It carries basic drugstore merchandise and other "7/11" types of products. Sale items are usually reasonably priced but a lot of merchandise is more expensive than you would find at other stores. Some staff are helpful but others, being underpaid and overworked, aren't.Although others have complained about the pharmacy I haven't had real problems except for once receiving the wrong prescription, which was resolved quickly. The wait can sometimes be long but the staff usually work as fast as they can. I try to go at off hours to avoid a crowd.

the pharmacy is so rude! this is my 2nd time having to call them for losing my prescription! my dr called in my prescription twice and they continuously told me she didn’t, they told me i was being placed on hold and they hung up on me and when i called back they told me they had just checked the voicemail and she had called it in. i asked how long the prescription would take to be filled and she just repeated they just got it in and it would take some time!

If you care about your family and friends tell them to stay as far away from their pharmacy as possible! If I was bleeding to death I wouldn't ask them for a Band-Aid. Lazy.. inconsiderate people. They are in control of medication that saves lives. Do they care .. NOPE! Go to CVS or Ochsner. People there know what they are doing and are patient care driven.

I purchased Flonase since my allergies have been bothering me since my arrival to the city. What i needed was in stock and fairly easy to find.I rated a 4 because the pharmacy tech did not seem knowledgeable about heath saving plans. Grant it, i am live in Texas and aware each state may or may not allow me to use my card....which is okay with me. HOWEVER she said she did not know. Did not bother to check nor ask any of her coworkers.

Consistently have issues with my grandmother's medication. Often times I spend 30+ minutes here to clear up issues. The service is slow and unprofessional. She has used Walgreen's for 40+ years and has finally made the decision to switch after the Christmas holiday.
