Excellent experience, the team is friendly and patient. The facility was clean and safe. I use the daycare and spa bath. I recommend the blueberry facial (my furbaby Roxie loved it). The Owner and staff are very helpful and awesome. They go above and beyond for the doggies. Everyone made me feel my little Roxie was in good hands.

Took great care of my puppy! And took him on short notice ( same morning) price was great for the quality of care. Many doggy day cares send your baby home smelling bad, but I loved that the blakemore was clean and returned my baby with no funky smells, in fact he smelled better! Clean fragrant!Thank you for all you do!

I am in love with this place. Everyone there is amazing and kind. I couldn't be happier with Nugget's groom. Best she has ever had. Getting to spend her time with the other dogs at daycare was such a treat for her as well. I will definitely be bringing her back for grooming and will also be looking into more regular daycare days as well. She was so happy the rest of the day until she passed out like a rock!

I am beyond grateful for Channing + his team at Blakemoore Bark! I can't imagine sending my standard poodle anywhere else for grooming or daycare. If there's a wait for an appointment, take it! It's worth it.The systems in place are seamless: easy online booking requests; straightforward drop-off and pick-up; and a phone call from Channing to review your grooming requests. For the quality of work delivered, the price is extremely fair. Channing's team is down-to-earth and helpful.In a decade of having my poodle groomed, I've never learned so much from a groomer before. Channing's expertise is evident not just from the end result [always a perfect groom!] but in the way he shares his knowledge and support to make sure your pet is safe, comfortable, and happy.Channing is a gentle groomer with exceptionally high standards and a lot of love to give your pet.

We were referred to Blakemoore after Camp Bowwow determined that my dog was not a good fit for them. I was nervous about how she’d handle daycare, but the staff at Blakemoore were great! My dog looks forward to her time at daycare, and it’s clear the staff like her and pay attention to her as an individual!I would recommend Blakemoore to anyone, especially if you have a dog who may not be suited for large group daycare but could still use some socialization.

Very friendly staff. To be honest wasnt to sure of the place, they have some dogs just behind a gate in one room, and same with another room. Not sure how much space they have, but it was a good stay for our Pooch.I would highly recommend the groomer, I think they are separate but they service the Blakemoore Bark services, so I highly recommend them, Our GoldenDoodle looks beautiful, they did a wonderful job..

Awesome, awesome place!! We were so satisfied with Blakemoore Bark. We needed a place to pup sit our girl while we toured the city. They were so easy to work with. I called them the day before and got them everything that was needed. The drop off and pick up process was extremely smooth. I’m so thankful for Blakemoore Place! We would definitely use them again. ♥️

Idk where to start! I had a last minute trip to Nola. No plans with my Cane Corso Ginger. They were able to take my baby and keep her comfortable during my time in the city. Best part! They was even able to give her a bath before my pick up on a Saturday! The energy was amazing and Ginger had an amazing time. She sleep so good after pick up, which for me was a sign that she played a great deal of her time during day camp. I will surly be back to visit and she will definitely spend her time here when needed. Thank you guys and girls for being amazing! ☺️🐶

Our Australian Cattle Dog gets overwhelmed and anxious at the larger, free-for-all boarding/play-day places. Blakemoore Bark took the time to understand that he plays better with small groups (and with small dogs). We always felt comfortable dropping him off for extended stays, and for a random play days as well! He always got excited when we asked if he wanted “to go play with the puppies” and never seemed stressed when we picked him up after a week or more at Blakemoore. We moved away from New Orleans this year, and miss having Blakemoore and their friendly staff in our lives. Y’all are great and truly care for the dogs! Highly recommend!

We used Blakemoore Bark after being referred to them by friends. Blakemoore was quick to reply and reserved dates for us. Due to a pending storm and having to leave town for it, I contacted them and they agreed to take my dogs a day ahead of time.When I arrived it was raining. I called the number and I was instructed to wait outside, which was annoying. A few minutes later, I met with a staff member outside, and I got a bad first impression and vibe. But, due to the storm and having to leave town, I had no choice but to leave my dogs there. Before leaving, I was informed I had to pay for the services prior to leaving. I was somewhat apprehensive about paying before services were complete, thinking to myself what if they are negligent and my dogs die or end up getting hurt. But, this was their policy, and I paid. When I paid, I was asked if I wanted to tip the staff, which struck me as odd. Why would I tip before receiving services? Tipping is done after services are rendered.While the dogs were there, the staff emailed us once with pictures. I looked at them, I could tell they seemed stressed and the shine from their coats were gone.When I came to pick up my dogs, the staff member brought me the bowls and dog food container outside and I noticed the bowls smelled like dog urine. When the staff member brought my dogs out, both reeked of dog urine and their coats lacked their softness and shine. I had to bathe them as soon as we got home.All in all, I would not suggest using this place, especially for their price. Checkout your local vet or another boarding establishment.Perhaps I should have followed my initial instincts.

My family & I were in NOLA on vacation and needed somewhere to leave our beloved two dogs, Cowboy & Sasha, for a day. We took them to Blakemore Bark because of their great reviews and were quite pleased in their handling of our furry family members. And apparently the dogs had a good time because they kept trying to go back in after we came to pick them up! A shout out to Dakota for working with me to make sure that everything ran smoothly.

I couldn't be happier with my Blakemoore Bark experience!!I made a last minute trip to NOLA, and although my hotel was pet-friendly, I knew my mini schnauzer would be happier at a pet daycare. I can't believe how lucky we were to find this place!!! It was right around the corner from the hotel, so I walked my buddy over & he spent two nights. I received pictures each day of his walks and he got extra play time with new dog friends.The staff was SUPER friendly and accommodating and the facility was very clean and cute!I highly recommend taking your dogchild to The Blakemoore Bark and I will definitely book a stay for my pupper next time I'm visiting New Orleans!

We had a great experience at The Blakemoore Bark today. In town for just one day, the staff at the BB made our enrollment and drop off process seamless and speedy. The facilities were super clean, and the staff went ABOVE and beyond with kindness. We felt completely comfortable leaving our fur baby in their care for the day. Winnie was absolutely worn out when we picked her up from a day full of love and fun. We will definitely be using the BB again. Also, her Pawdicure was amazing 👌🏻💅🏼🐶

I took my dog here for daycare. We had just moved here from N.Y and poor dude needed a day with other dogs to relax while I got our new home together. The staff was so friendly and accommodating from the first call. Wendy was a great help in organizing getting his records from his vet and staying on tip of things.My dog had a great time. When the day was done my dog sat at my feet relaxed and not wanting to head out the door as he usually does. This told me he had a great day and was comfortable staying longer. The owner is amazing and really cares for the dogs. I have checked out other daycares closer to me, yet this one is the one I keep coming back to. The peace of mind is worth it.

These guys are the best groomers! My dog needs extra attention as his coat is dense and mats easily. They offer a weekly visit on a monthly program for him to keep him looking great all the time. They offer other services such as day and night care, walking, field trips, and most importantly my dog loves it! All of the staff know him by name and genuinely care about his well being. I wouldn't take him anywhere else!!

The staff here rocks. I was in town for a couple weeks and needed a few walks for my pup when I was at work. They made me feel totally at ease that she would be in great hands. This business is ultra accommodating, passionate, and the employees have a great sense of humor (at our consultation my dog took right to Austin). Highly recommend!

TLDR: wasn't allowed to see the facility at all, and my dog was dying of thirst when I picked her up.I really wanted to love this place because I was staying in NOLA a month, and would be using them. Things seemed good at first. Booking was easy, they contacted me about vaccines, the price was great. I reserved multiple daycare days because a friend was visiting. I took my dog the first day, and when I got there, I was told I couldn't see inside at all, due to covid. However, this was March 2022, and the city was fully open, with most places asking for vaccination proof. I was wearing a mask and offered my vaccination proof, but was denied seeing the facility at all. I couldn't even step in to pay. This made me uneasy, but I had an appointment and had to go. I should have asked sooner, but never dreamed I wouldn't be able to see even the lobby. I planned to leave her all day, and had booked multiple days, but instead, only left her for 3 hours so I could go to my appointment, then immediately picked her up. When I picked her up, she was panting and looking for her water bottle. I poured her THREE cups of water before she was satisfied. She's only 9 pounds. She was completely parched and clearly had been playing, but didn't have access to waste. Will not return, and so relieved I didn't leave her longer

Great doggie daycare, I could tell from my puppy's wagging tail :). I was in New Orleans just for a few days, and needed a doggy day care to be able to go out for all those touristy things that don't allow dogs. I am really happy to have chosen Blakemoore Bark, their staff is super friendly and they clearly love dogs. I would go back there any time! Thanks from Alex and Robbie :).

Out of towners and we loved the Blakemoore Bark! We have a 5 pound yorkie who we brought on vacay for the first time and after the first night at the hotel of no sleep after every little noise woke him up we called the Blakemoore and we were so very happy we did. Immediately the team made us feel comfortable leaving him. He has not had good experiences at other boarders but when we picked him up to walk him each day he was in great spirits and not at all scared when we returned him to enjoy the rest of our day and sleep well that night. I would definitely recommend them to anyone! I wish they had a location in our town!

Dropped of our dog here for our stay in New Orleans. The front office rep said we did not have a reservation and I had to show him our confirmation email, then he really seemed to struggle on how to process our dog in for a stay and had to call and stayed on the phone for the duration of the checkin to see how to do anything from scheduling to payment. After 15 minutes, we have to take our dog out as he decided to get another dog our boarding for the customer behind us. While we waited outside, I see another employee show up and rear end another while parking, not once but twice while parking in a no parking area. Fast forward to when we get or dog back, the rep this time is very knowledgeable and seems to have a firm grasp on what needed to do. We were greated by what seems as the whole team to see our dog off, which I thought was really nice. I was told that our dog did good and ate well. But at our first stop, I notice a fresh cut on her nose and a scab on her head. These were small, but I would have expected an injury or bite report when we got her, not when we were at a rest stop. Be sure to press these people if you use them. We will be finding another boarding establishment on our next visit.

When we were planning a trip to New Orleans , we found out they dont take dogs. We have a 9 month 6.5 pound Toy Australian Shephard. We got a suggestion to call Blakemoore and they had space. They were reasonable in price. I was so nervous because I have never left any of my past dogs in kennels, so this was new with our new fur baby. When we arrived He was greeted with lots of hugs and held immediatley and I could feel the love they had for dogs. When we picked him up they said they hated to see him leave. They cuddled with him at the front desk when he wasn't playing with new friends. I HIGHLY suggest Blakemoore if you go to New Orleans and need a pet place. Its more than a kennel, its a place where they truly love dogs! They have play time and walk them alot. They do have other options you can add on if needed. They also on a side note send you photos of there stay. 5 stars for me!

I contacted The Blakemoore Bark on very short notice while visiting New Orleans for the weekend and was able to get my pup in for daycare for 2 days. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, and my pup must have had a good time because he walked right in the 2nd day! It is a short drive from Bourbon/The French Quarter.

Everyone here is AmazeBalls! (Will I get put in Google Jail for that?)Seriously, we trust everyone who works there with the little life of our Stanley Mason. He plays constantly and has both dog and human friends alike.It's like dropping your kid off at Uncle and Aunties for the day and you can trust that the kids more won't go off and run in the streets unsupervised.They keep a tight leash on their pack.If anything, you might catch them in a dance when the barking gets too loud so the music tunes provide a 15 minute sensory break when cleaning up all that overexcited pee. (Stanley bug!)I highly recommend this place for you and your pup. Try it out for a week and compare it to others around town. I'm sure you will come bark. I mean back.

I left my dog there for the first time this weekend. They did such a great job and I could tell they genuinely care about the pets! Nola never eats when I am away, but she ate really well. This is where we will come for all my pet needs! Thank you!
