Highly recommend this store and the owner Trish! I am transitioning my 10 year-old-dog’s diet from the big brand kibble to something a bit healthier given his age. Trish was so helpful in talking through options. She even offered to purchase items at my request that I did not see available in the store. You can tell she really goes above and beyond and delivers quality, trustworthy products. Trish gave me some samples of the in-house kibble, and my dog seemed to really like it. I’ll definitely be returning!

It was ok. I asked the person for some guidance on treats, and he basically blew me off and just pointed to the treat section. They had a nice variety, but I was buying for an elderly dog, and was hoping for a bit more.Edited: added a star (from 3 to 4) for owners nice response.

Danny groomed our 2 dogs today and they look amazing!! He was so kind and our dogs have never looked or smelled better. If you need a dog groomer this is your place.

Everything in this store is top notch. Save yourself the torture of having to research the ingredients, quality, source, made in, etc of Amazon & Chewy products. Quality of everything here is excellent, small batch, fresh, local/nationally sourced. Don’t have to think twice. I use the Whitefish kibble as a training treat. There isn’t one item my own pups or my foster pups haven’t loved. And my Doberman is picky! Not once has anyone gotten sick, had allergic reaction, or not devoured. No more 2am nightmare vomit noises. Cherry on top is free local delivery.

After making my Lab, Roxie’s, food for about 8 years due to concerns that standard dog food might be responsible for several seizures she had experienced I decided to try Pet Wants French Quarter dry food-Less Active Senior. I have known Patricia, the Pet Wants owner, for several years and saw the care and devotion she had for her two dogs, Rose and Jackson. I knew that if this was a product she believed in it must be absolutely safe-and nutritous with no harmful chemical additives. I had also been concerned that Roxie needed to loose weight, down from her current 80 lbs to 70 or 75 lbs as she was aging and that extra weight was likely to cause joint problems. Patricia was so helpful in calculating the right amount to feed Roxie given her age and weight and assurred me that the vitamins and minerals that Roxie needed were contained in the food, as opposed to the food I had been making that needed those costly extras. In addition the change over from her then current wet food to the Less Active Senior dry food was absolutely seamless-in less than a week I was able to decrease the home made wet food and increase the FQ Senior dry food until she was eating all dry food with no problems what-so-ever. Thanks Patricia-for a healthier Roxie-and more time for walks together in my new found extra time!

This store is such an amazing pet store. The owner, Trish, is such a sweet and hard working owner that truly wants the best for your pet. My pup has loved any chews I have brought home from Pet Wants and the products are very affordable! I highly recommend Pet Wants to anyone that wants pet products that are cleaner and healthier!

I recently bought a bag of food, CBD treats, and some healing salve for my dog. The CBD treats were great for my dogs car anxiety, he is usually a mess and whines the entire time but after having the treat he seemed to be much more relaxed and even took a nap. My dog also suffers from allergies that lead to hot spots on his skin that develop an odor. After using the healing salve on him his skin looks clear and he even gets exited when he sees me grab the jar! I had a great experience with the extremely knowledgeable staff and will be buying their products again in the future.

I cannot begin to explain the dedication to my pet the owner has shown. She ensures I am aware of the correct amount to feed my German Shephard along with what issues he has I can tackle with food. He sheds less with the salmon and rice mixed with chicken and rice. The kangaroo jerky , beef trachea, and chicken feet are his favorite afternoon treats! You can't go wrong with Pet Wants!
