Lesa was accommodating and very warm. She showed great care and attention to my pets needs and care. She explained why she cut the way she cut and what it would take to get my fur baby hair back on track. I will travel the 2 1/2 hours monthly for their grooming apt. I will say it was the best cuts ✂️ they have had. My poodle looked show ready. My Maltese was cute as a button considering he had damaged hair from a previous cut. Her prices are very reasonable for all that you get. She pay attention to all details concerning your babies. I Love her.

It was my first time taking my puppy to get groomed by Lesa and Lesa did an amazing job on her! She was gentle with my puppy and made sure that she was comfortable even though she didn’t like the grooming process. My puppy can be a little sassy when it comes to grooming, but Lesa made her look like the beautiful Westie that she is.

Lesa is the only groomer who knows how to handle my dog. He's super scared of the groomer, and can be a bit aggressive about it. Lesa gives attention to detail even when he's upset, and makes him look stunning after every visit!

I’ve been coming to Grooming by Lesa for about a year now with my Australian Shepherd Bailey. She does an excellent job every single time. My Aussie loves going to the groomers and I’m sure that’s due to the fact that they take great care of the dogs that come through their doors.

I took my dog to them three times. The first time was good they seem to love my dog he seemed at ease going in. The second time he was in there all day it was eight hours. He was the last dog to be groomed after I dropped him off at 9 o’clock in the morning.The 3rd time He spent seven hours there. When I got him home he smelled good he looked good but he had the runs. He had diarrhea for two days after that. When I called to see if he had gotten into something they said oh no he was probably nervous. Never had a dog be so nervous that he had diarrhea.

Lesa and team are fabulous! They groomed our two doodles perfectly. Our guys are besties and they kept them together, and even groomed them at the same time! They’re usually barking & terrible at groomers, but they seemed way happier and more at ease after. Also, when our little one chewed through his leash (bad dog), she even let us walk away with one of theirs. We’re so happy we found Lesa right as we moved here! We will be back. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Lesa. She has been grooming my Standard Poodle Harry for many years and he is absolutely bonkers about her. He always comes home looking and smelling fabulous. Super unprofessional. This was my first time going to this groomer. When I arrived for my appointment, I was let in, no good morning, no thanks for coming in, nothing. She was overbooked and immediately offered me a discount to bring my dog back another day bc she had overbooked herself. I said no I’m far out and today was best for my schedule. She took my dog explained it would be longer than usual to which I agreed. She then said my dog had mats in her hair which I knew. I asked her to call me when she got to the head bc I have a goldendoodle and I wanted the teddy bear face to which she agreed.Fast forward to I got a call my dog was ready. I said well she was supposed to call me to discuss the face. I get there to pick up my dog and her daughter told her I’d asked to speak with her about my dogs cut over the phone to which I could hear her saying in a super rude tone- what is it that he needs-She’s done as best I could get it. As an owner, I’d think my experience as a new customer was more important and that I would have gotten a much better experience-especially after I was referred to her from other people. Unprofessional and I hate my dogs cut. Price is reasonable, shop is nice and clean, but I did not like the customer experience at all.

She is extremely booked up and its hard to schedule and appointment the time I was able to grab one and showed up she completely forgot about it and upcharged me. Not only that she clipped my dogs gentilia to the point where he could not sit down comfortably for two weeks he had burns on his genitalia and was very uncomfortable. His skin was hot to the touch. She usually does a good job, idk maybe she was having a bad day. Very disappointed.

We have tried a few groomers out around New Orleans over the years, and while none have been bad, Grooming by Lesa really stands out.We have three dogs - two of which need groomed every couple months or so. We found Lesa and decided to go give her a try since her shop is just a short walk away from our Irish Channel home.We were amazed at how great our two shih thus looked (and smelled!), after their first Grooming by Lesa appointment, and more so than even that, how they behaved! Neither sister really cares to be left at the groomers all day, but Baylee actually walked over to the door where they do the grooming as I was checking out instead of dragging me to the exit!! Simply amazing to me.We cannot say enough nice things about this groomer. She is professional, very friendly, and her upfront/all-inclusive pricing can't be beat.If you're looking for a place to take your pets for grooming, etc., give Lesa a try. You won't regret it. We sure don't!!

It's hard to know what happened. Our 2 year old schnauzer, whos gotten groomed every months since he was 10 months old, went to Leza while we were visiting NoLa. He wound up at the emergency vet clinic for Secondary Drowning.I called Leza at the Vets request to ask if anything unusual happened, and they said no. I told her that our dog was in the emergency room but they said nothing happened. No one even followed up with us after I told them we were in the vet clinic He was sick for days and had oxygenation problems from inhaling water.My dog has gotten groomed more than a dozen times over the last year with no problems, but wound up in a vet clinic with life-and-death situation.

Had an appointment for both my dogs on a Monday morning. Scheduled a 730 drop off. Showed up at 730 to a locked door and no answer on the phone.Waited for 20 minutes and finally someone picked up at 750, only to tell me that Lesa would not be coming in and that all her appointments are canceled. No offer of rescheduling later in the week or apologies for not calling the day before so I didn’t waste my time bringing my dogs to an empty building. Absolute worst customer service experience ever. Not sure how this place is in business with practices like this.

I’ve been knowing Mrs. Lesa for about 4 years now and she is hands down the best groomer I know. Her shop is very inviting and she is very patient with all of her clients and their babies. I would definitely recommend Mrs. Lesa for all of your grooming needs.
