Very clean store and friendly service. Fresh meat in meat dept, by friendly butcher. Was happily surprised to find Campbell's cream of shrimp there; it is very rare to find it in Houston. When I mentioned this to Libby, cashier who was checking me out, how I emptied their shelf, 12 cans, she then asked if I needed her to check for more? I said yes please, and she and another kind young man found over a dozen more. Suffice it to say you all are so very fortunate to have such considerate people working to go above and beyond a customer's expectations!!Thank you Libby at Lydia Market for making our trip home wonderful.

This is a family run business. So everyone knows you by name and treats you like family. They have wonderful meat specials. Their deli have different choices to choose from when you have picky kids. The cook Weezie she makes the food taste perfect. If you ever have a problem as ask for Mrs. DEE OR JERI they know how to help you in a quickly manner. Everyone should stop by at least once to stock up on all their needs. You won't regret it. Thank y'all for doing a wonderful job.

They have great prices and awesome sales. There are so many things to choose from the deli all day long. The home made chicken salad is delicious, my family can't get enough. Excellent quality of meat, very sweet and friendly service you can say the Lydia Food Store is the perfect place for your local shopping needs.

Food was so good and my plate was so full it barely wanted to close all for $10. It was hot and ready at 9:30am and they even have a variety frozen gumbo.

Great market about 2 minutes off of Hwy 90. One stop and you're done. Must try the jalapeño cheeseburger stuffed bread! Grab one in the frozen section for supper or a hot one in front of store! They also serve breakfast and lunches. Plenty parking. Oh! They also have FREEZE DRIED CANDY!

We went to get some groceries since we are staying at the state park this week. I was happy to see a full grocery store so that I didn't have to drive all the way back to Lafayette just to get a few things. The employees were all very nice.

Small local grocery store. Clean and the staff are nice. Love their plate lunches and also home cook cold food selections to bring home to heat. Prices are very good. 👍

Friendly staff, I think the store is a little overpriced but it is in a location that's cater to rural people. So I believe you're really paying for the convenience of the store location. Beside that I would come here to do a quick pick, up but I prefer a larger store because I get more bang for my buck. 🤔👍🙂😊

I'm a regular, prices are average, except for beer, we love the seafood stuffed peppers. I'll be back. They do have a lot of shoppers. Did I mention the beer is a little high, hint hint.

Don't park there more than 5 minutes or the owner will ask you to leave. But most of the workers are very friendly!
