Went to buy a king cakes from them. 1 Bavarian and other pecan pralineWorst me and wife have tried. $25 for each,They had the consistency of cinnamon roles,, being compacted and compressedThey also have reduced the amount of filling to a point were half of the cakes didn't have any visual once openedGoing back to routes, there a much better deal and taste for the price

The owners camped next to us in galveston tx. They gave us some chips and seasoning. The chips were delicious! Can't wait to try seasoning. Thank you Ross and Toni!

If you are ever in New Iberia, it is worth it to pop into this store. We are not from the area and were directed here by a local. I'm sure there are lots of reviews by locals. This store is unique in that they process many of their own food including speciality meats like boudin, sausage, duck, deer, and even alligator! They make some delicious black eyed pea soup and white bean soup. There is copious seafood as well. There are many other items as well but we were culinary tourists. The produce seemed in much better shape that the other stores in the area like Walmart, Simenauds, and Rouses. That may change in all the stores on a daily basis since it is produce after all. Overall, really nice experience.

I had not been to Fremin's for a few long years. I found the store is still the same layout and staff are very helpful.One stop shop with food, cooking equipment and furniture.Four starts only because of my limited time in store.

Great place to shop. Not only its good store but they also have quality furniture. We picked up a sofa yesterday. They did a good job loading it on the truck and also gave some felt to go on the bottom of the legs so it would not scratch our wood floors. What great service.

Went there with a friend. Some of my close family friends, the Landrys, always saying how it's a good mom and pa store. Not big box or corporate.All we got were stares & a 'Get your stuff & get out.' vibe. Not sure if it was the mask or what. Prices are close to Albertsons, but lacking the service to back it up. Will be extremely lucky to survive the end of the decade. Better off at Super 1 or Walmart, despite their problems.

Love this place. They have the most unique Cajun cook ware I have ever seen. You can get all types of meat, fowl, and or reptile! LOL I have had some rabbit sauceage, and duck sauceage, enjoyed them both.Go see for yourself. Enjoy.

Has great deals on selected items once a week. I bought up pork chops for stockpile for winter when usualy later winter prices go up to high to afford in other stores so checking a aD for these deals is awesome way to save loads of money. cheapest way to eat good with large family.

Always larger stores offer more variety like Super One & Wal-Mart. I prefer family owned stores close to home most times & occasionally larger stores for foods smaller family ones may not handle like wild caught salmon or healthier not sold at family stores. Some locals Cajun people may not eat the unusual meat or vegetables my husband & I would !

The best grocery store around! ALWAYS have great customer service, staff is always welcoming and smiling. Everyone knows everyone because you always have a friend at fremins! Best thick cut ribeyes, always great sales and by far the coldest beer in new iberia and surrounding areas! They can process your deer or hog meat. Cater for your Thanksgiving or special occasion and do it all with a smile!

I was a bit unsatisfying.Compare to to 1st Fremin's when there Father was running it. The prices are way to high. I use to be a regularly.The fire mess things up.
