In April 2024, a new employee joined the team. She's a petite Caucasian woman. Surprisingly, she closed the store at 9:40 pm with her assistant, although they were supposed to close at 10. Despite the store being busy, she seemed tired and eager to leave, which some might find rude. It's unfortunate she couldn't wait just 20 more minutes to ensure the store closed at the designated time of 10 pm instead of 9:30 pm.

It's a nice size building. Large parking lot. Handicap parking. They recently remodeled. The store is clean. Friendly employees. They have a good selection of food, cards, drinks, pet supplies, baby items, etc.

This location has a large selection. And, of course. Always great deals. And good prices.. I'll tell you what impresses me most. When you walk in. You're greeted like a friend. You can go at any shift. All of the employees here are always smiling, will go out of their way to assist you. I look for those qualities at a store.. im a business woman myself. You get what you give. This Dollar General.. definitely keeps us returning. I don't need to be name specific. All of them are Amazing. Great at their jobs and know how to treat their customers. Great job Dollar General. I'll go out of my way to go to this one. Also, they all work so well together. You never hear them gossiping. They get along. And, so happiness to be there. Thank You Dollar General..

I drove down the Old Jeanerette Road in New Iberia, LA yesterday and saw a young lady walking on the side of the road with a puppy in one arm and a small dog on a leash. I thought it looked odd, but I ran the errand I was on and was heading back home when I noticed a car on the side of the road near where I first say the young lady. Further along the road, I saw the young lady again. I asked her if I could help and she asked for a ride because her car had broken down.She was very appreciative of the ride and as a matter of fact lived close to where I live. I could tell she had been crying and commiserated with her on her car breaking down. Then she told me that she had left her phone at home and had stopped at the Dollar General at 2315 Old Jeanerette Rd, New Iberia, LA and asked to use a phone to call her family to come and get her and they refused to let her make a call.That is entirely unacceptable. You need to fire whoever was working Saturday and replace them with someone that has a little human compassion. I won't be stopping at that store again, even though it's the closest store to my home. I am very disappointed in your employees.

Plenty of well lite parking. Very crowded with delivery personal. Shelves well stocked and a large number of different items. Good prices on the items we purchased.

The manager over there is rude and she doesn't know how to talk to people. She accuses everyone of stealing and talk about people when they leave out the store. This store is located in jeanerette la.

Closed ten minutes early and employees saw me at the door and they went hide in the office. I'm a regular at this place and now have a bad taste for it due to two young people that wanted to leave before they were supposed to. Bad workmanship
