My husband and I walked into this place right after we left the visitor center a few doors down. Immediately, I fell in love with the look and love of the place. A reading corner with books, games, and stuffed animals provided?? Heck yeah! A piano for the musically able and a dragon for soaring above the heights?! Be still, my beating heart! The young lady who took our order was friendly. There were two others there, a man and a woman, but I'm not sure if they were employees. The menu is extensive, and the pastries looked yummy, though we didn't partake in those. I got the large Earl Grey milk tea, and my husband got the hot latte. The young woman spilled some of the tea while making mine, which had me wondering about how it would affect the taste, and she put boba in it without asking me. I'm familiar with the process because getting milk tea and boba tea is a common thing with me and my daughter. I've never not been asked before. When I took a drink of the tea, I got a mouthful of the boba, and I confess to being completely grossed out. She said she put the boba in because most people like it. She offered to remake the drink, and I accepted it. She "strained" the ice and boba out of it, put the remaining liquid back in the cup and re-iced it. To me, that isn't remaking a drink. I took another drink of it and it tasted like bland milk with a strange flavor in it. It had no tea flavor whatsoever. The man sitting at the bar asked if it was okay, and I told him how it tasted. He seemed very blasé about it and said nothing further. As I walked out of the shop, I took another drink and got more boba. After I spit those out, I looked at the bottom of the cup, and there were 3-4 more still in there. I asked my husband if I could have a drink of his latte to get the slimy feeling out of my mouth, and his latte tasted exactly like plain old drip coffee. I looked at him, and he told me he didn't have it remade after he saw what the woman did to my drink. The woman was talking and laughing with the couple sitting at the bar the entire time she was making our drinks, so I'm assuming she missed some steps, or maybe she's just not good at her job- I don't know. As cool as the store is, I see no reason to return and spend money on worthless products. Our drinks were tossed in the first trashcan we came across as we returned to our vehicle.

Walked in to a dragon and Howl’s Moving Castle playing. What a great entrance.Had one of the best Cortado (1:1 espresso/steam milk) here.It was way too quiet for a cafe. Felt like I had to whisper but it wasn’t a big deal. Made it a peaceful atmosphere.Highly recommend from just one visit.

They do not have beignets or even think that beignets are served in Natchitoches.I was looking for beignets so did a google search for them around us in Natchitoches. This coffee shop was the first that came up, so we headed over there and my wife walked in and asked if they had any. The employee very rudely laughed at her and told her she wouldn't find any in Natchitoches.I don't blame this establishment for not serving beignets since, as the owner pointed out in reply to my review, they are not allowed to use a fryer in their location. I gave them a 2 star review for being rude. We got our beignets and our coffee at another establishment in Natchitoches which was much more friendly and will receive our business the next time we are in town for sure.

Locally owned, not a large corporation. Outstanding coffee, tea and treats. Couldn't decide which drink to get today, so I got two...lol. Phenomenal staff. Usually someone named Julia is working when I go, and has always been incredibly kind. Although, all the employees we've encountered have been superb. Highly recommend!

I go to this coffee shop just about everyday! One of my favorite coffee shops of all time! Better than starbucks, dunkin, ect. It is family owned and they are always welcoming smiling faces! I call in my coffee before class or work everyday and they always know who I am and have it ready! 10/10 recommend!

This was our first time here since we were visiting our child at school. The coffee is very good and their homemade pastries are amazing! The lemon cinnamon roll and some are so delicious! There's so many different pastries and cookies to choose from! If you like going to little small town coffee shops, this is the place you need to go!

The experience is as it sounds, fantastical and storylike from the food and drinks (coffees, teas, and even decaf option with many flavors and treats to choose from.) To even the decorum, and pop culture merch/decoration. Its beautiful, unique, cheap, and a must have stop for everyone but especially young people and nerds :).Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and decaf options

Everyone is so nice and the coffee is great!Kid-friendliness: There are board games and other items for children, kids love taking pictures with the dragon.Wheelchair accessibility: There are tables with easier wheelchair access and the sidewalk has a wheelchair accessible spot nearby.

My mother and I popped in for an afternoon iced caramel macchiato. The young lady got busy with our orders and produced amazing iced drinks. We also had tasty pastries. It was quiet and inviting inside, and affordable. A definite welcoming spot on Front Street!!!

Im a second face coming in to StoryBrew since last month and this amazing place has made me give them a 5-star review for the best boba in Natchitoches! The tapioca pearls looks awesome, the way how they made my chocolate strawberry boba is like living in the clouds of amazement. What a great joy it is to have StoryBrew in town. A local owned and run. Wide selection of coffee and tea. Now to top it off Amber is a wonderful baker. I love the very large cinnamon roll, but she has a wide selection. Travis and Amber, the owners, makes you welcome and they welcome your pet also. Boo, our dog, loves her pupaccino.A real don't miss on a our visit to our lovely town.

Me and my friends are regulars here, but everyone we've seen walk in loves this place! The atmosphere is cozy and just the right amount of nerdy, the coffee and tea is wonderful, and it's the perfect spot to study and hang out. This is also one of the only spots in town to get boba tea, which I love, but everything I've gotten here is something I've thoroughly enjoyed. Customer service is wonderful too!
