I rented a space for $390 for the month. The cost is actually $375 but there is a $15 fee if paying with card. The owner left me alone and no one else bothered me. It was a place to stay but don't expect to get any sleep. Internet was provided but I had to use my Verizon hot spot here and there. An active train will go by between 1:30 AM - 5 AM and sound the horn for at least 10 minutes (no stable train time either). Then at 7 AM, the owner's kid drives his four wheeler for about an hour around the park and I almost messaged her asking if he could stop. He rode the four wheeler for about an hour yet there is a noise ordinance that the owner made of no noise until 8 AM.Lastly, the shower house. There are hot showers but there is no privacy, no shower curtains, I wasn't sure if the door lock would hold up, and the place needs a new paint job. It looked dirty with the chipped paint and I wore flip flops to avoid getting a fungal infection. There are washer and dryers in the shower house as well but they do not work regardless of what the owner says. The washers do not spin so your clothes will be soaking wet and smell. The dryers do not dry at all. Finally, there are no quarters ever in that quarter machine. I went to dollar general next door asking for quarters and an employee there filled me in that the quarter machine never has quarters and those machines have never worked. Nearest laundry mat is 40+ minutes away.If you need a place to sleep during the day I would recommend but if you're staying longer than a night, probably not.Safety: As a female solo traveler I felt safe here and when I went to New Orleans for 2 days, my stuff was untouched. There are stickers for security cameras and there are a few cameras on site.

Poor excuse for an RV park!! Some years ago, we had to evacuate to Texas from New Orleans because of a hurricane. On our way back home, we were looking for a place to stay because we were tired. At the time, Baton Rouge did not have much for RV parks, so on the recommendation of a stranger online, we chose this place to stop. We called and paid in advance because there were other evacuees there and there was only one spot left. WHAT A MISTAKE!!! This place is a total dump!! If you're poor and can't afford a place to live and maybe you have an old camper to live in, this place would be better than living under the overpass. Otherwise, AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!! DO NOT GO HERE!! DON'T DO IT!! STAY AWAY!! RUN FAR, FAR, FAR AWAY!! YOU'LL BE SORRY.....

The campground is very quiet. If you want a space that is peaceful while working or staying over night, this is perfect. They have a laundry room and unlimited hot water in the showers. The showers and laundry room stay open 24/7 so you can wash your clothes late at night if you are doing shift work. They also provide laundry services. There is a manager on-site (lives there). They are rarely in the office but when you call they will meet you and return calls or text fairly quickly. It was nice to walk my dog at night not having to worry about anything. They also have a field next to park for your dog to run if you want. Right next door is a convenience store and a restaurant with good food and liquor. There is a bar in walking distance (if you had to walk home) that is nice and welcoming. New Roads has a Walmart and SuperOne that is 6 miles away plus a variety of restaurants. There is a train that runs but it seemed like it came every night at about 10:30 pm and in the am around 7 am. It worked for me as an alarm clock although I would hear most of the working crews pull out at 5:00 am. It's clean, safe and convenient for the price you can't beat it. I really just enjoyed how quiet it was and everyone basically kept to themselves.

Very nice and clean park. The young lady (manager) was very accommodating and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed.The showers are endless with hot water n theres a laundry mat w laundry service, which came in very handy.

Put us on a spot where another person was having to use our sewer. The person who booked my reservation was no where to be found. There was a male sleeping in the laundry room. We just pulled away and headed back home. Sketchy place. Will never be back ever again. Would rather stay in a Walmart parking lot and dry camp.

Nice relaxing place. Close to road and train tracks which is a downer. You can't beat the price here. Washer dryer and shower house aren't bad. Place has wifi which is a little slow but still good enough for Netflix. Good place to stay if your down here working.

Very quiet and safe rv park. The on site manager was super nice and helpful. There’s a laundry room on site and a car wash. Definitely a great place to stay, you will not be disappointed!

Nice sites, clean, well run. WiFi, water, sewage and power so nice place to set up. Spent a month there while doing medical test. Quiet, so was able to rest, and large field for walking our two fur-babies. Management was always very helpful, we are new at RVing so needed some questions answered and they were willing to take time with me.

Clean, small park. Everything seemed to work as it should. Not much as far as scenery, not much to do in the park itself. Good for a night or 2. Make sure and use Passport America. The train goes by across the street and shakes things, only heard it during the daytime.

For $37.50 this is a poor excuse for an RV Park. Bare bones utilities, Wifi barely usable, a sprinkle of gravel over dirt for a pad. trains that sound like they are in the park! $15.00 would be over priced. I would rather stay at the WalMart

It's a quiet rv park.There's even a cafe next door with delicious food and also a gas station and little store. There's even a washateria at the rv park and a car wash.Great place to camp.

My boyfriends phone flew off my car hood in front of here so when we found it we stopped right there to look at it before we got back on the roadAnd I guess it was the manager I don’t know but she came out looking like a real life Karen in the fleshShe was so rude,she kicked us off because she said we had been there for almost 30 minutes,when actually we was there for 5 minutesI give this place less then one star because of this womanIn fact my dad was washing his car and the the hose on it broke so he used the rv place water hose that was next to the car wash and she kicked him offShe’s really stuck up and if it wasn’t for her then this place would be way better
