This store manager, black woman, apparently manages the Family Dollar store on 165 North(Old Sterlington Road) and has told several of the employees that when I come in to buy the Werthers candy that has been advertised for $1 to not give it to me for a $1 but for the 1.25 that it’s ringing up for because she doesn’t want to honor the policy of “whatever the sign says is what you have to give it to the customer for. “ What’s even more crazy is the fact that one of the cashiers just said outta her own mouth that her manager said to tell “me” when I come in that I have to pay the $1.25 even though it’s saying $1. She needs to stay at Desiard with her nasty attitude and that cashier that has the flip mouth needs to join her on Desiard.Her name is ANGELA. Please see the pictures where ALL OF THE CANDY IS $1! She was PETTY and tore off the price for just THAT CANDY! Lol.

At 9:41pm I pulled into the parking lot of your company and proceeded to get out of the car. As I was doing so a lady hurries to the door and locked it. There was one customer at the counter and a male employee inside of the store. I felt very very disrespected and humiliated. I knew exactly what I was going in for, it was very much needed, and I shop at this store often. I always over look the hazardous mess and the unprofessionalism of your employees due to this store being close to my home. From this moment forward I will never spend another coin with this company and I will advise my family and friends to do the same. There are other options. Thanks

Went on Tuesday & was told, outside, that I couldn't come in without a mask.Asked if I could cover lower part of my face with my t-shirt & was told NO...I get the Covid concerns be SERIOUSLY, a face covering of any kind is on the same level as basic flimsy masks that aren't hospital grade.We are still touching items freely & we all know that more germs/viruses are transfered by contact than through inhalation.

Every Family Dollar I've been to be so crowded or cluttered. I guess that's why they have clearance outside. But overall one of my favorite stores to hang out.

Great little store to shop with a large selection of the things you want most from frozen foods to pet foods. Don't know how they get it all in there.

It was hard to get around, because of boxes stacked up in the aisles. But we found what we wanted.
