I just want to say that there was an incident at this location the other day (i’m not even sure what exactly happened), but the cashier handled it like a champ. A customer was completely out of line, cussing up a storm at this cashier in front of everyone even children. However, the cashier did not say a word and just kept scanning her items. Whoever you are , I want you to know that you’re a rockstar and you’re doing great!! Honestly you can find good deals at this location. Do wish they would clean up stuff just a little bit. Employees have truly stepped up. This store has an amazing staff.

It's like a weird thrift store, you never know what's in selection so you cant get anything specific but you might find something you want. Although most thrift stores are mostly just clothes, Dirt Cheap has WAY MORE than just clothes. It is kinda dirty tho.

I would give them no stars if I could. Mistakenly shopped at closing time on my way out of town, bought a remote for my father and myhusband bought a light. My husband couldn't find an outlet in the store to try out the light and the remote was tapped up in a box and I wasn't able to even look at it. When my father opened the box a couple of days later, the remote was cracked open, missing the upper half of it...it didn't work....my husband's light didn't work. I called to ask the manager if they would just exchange it for something that DOES work....No was the answer I got....Please don't go there....dont buy from there...the people don't help you, don't want to help you....it's a store designed tp rip you off...take your money and give you broken, unusable merchandise

You can find some great deals if you know what your looking for and you know all the parts. I got a nice sink and faucet 13 bucks easily 300 or more retail. Stuff is usually damaged or broken but some isn't. A new shop vac 18 dollars. 150 new. So it's worth checking out. Ballin on a budget like me then this is a great place.

Today I went into dirt cheap to shop. I started by scanning the q code they provide so I could scan my items for prices. I came across some work out pants that scanned for 50 cents. I got to the register and the cashier told me that she could not scan the 50 cent code but had to use the color code on the tag which would've made them $3... the money wasn't the issue ... the issue was that the scan came up with the lower price which they would not honor. The manager backed the cashier up. I told the cashier I did not want the merchandise. When I placed the items on the counter a hanger I guess came toward her. She told me if that hanger would've hit her she would hit me... now mind you, her manager is still in hearing distance of this all. So I suppose if you want to pay more than the scanned prices and get threatened by a cashier... then please shop the Monroe dirt cheap on Louisville. You will not ever see me there again.

Be prepared to dig. Definitely hit or miss. Tons of broken and dented items on the shelves. Hardly any organization. Not clean. Not very helpful employees. I left my cart for not even five minutes to go down another aisle and came back to it gone along with all of my items.

This is a hit or miss shopping experience if u have time to waste and are not in bad need of something then it's worth checking in everywhere or two. My vacuum cleaner was on the verge of going out so I happened to check here about a week ago and bought a $379 vacuum for $17. And it is awesome.

The store gets merchandise from other retailers and does NOT claim that everything is perfect as it would be in other big box retailers. Matter of factly, there's signage all throughout the store that flat out tells you to open merchandise and be sure that it meets your standards.It's easy to get mad at the company or the workers when reading hasn't been fundamental. Check your stuff!

I was in dirt cheap today went to check out with several items.when I got to the register I was informed we can't sell you these until Friday! Today is Wednesday why do you have it on the floor?? I could maybe understand if they had it blocked off but that wasn't the case .I won't be going back Friday or no other day!

This place has gotten way more organized. I wasn't too happy to see several workers in the floor, while the one lady working the register was continuously calling for help! She never actually got anyone to celebrate assist her for the line of customers. I'm guessing that's why she came off a little "cranky". Honestly, I didn't blame her after what I saw in the store. I found everything I was looking for at some really good prices!

Love this store not from here but when ever I'm here will go to all I can get to. You never know just what you'll find. Never thought I would find an alternator, starter and running boards for my truck. Great places.

This place was chaos!!! There were sooo many broken things just shoved on shelves, boxes just sitting on the floor, opened with parts of things hanging out. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but I will not return!

When you go to this store don't go looking for any specific item. Go there and look for deal's And if you buy anything electronic they have outlets in the back to test them. Once you out the door it's yours. I bought a pair of clippers for 10 $it had 1 flaw but they were worth 50$ if people complain it's there fault for not knowing how this store is

The first impression of the store is just pure chaos and disarray. Boxes aren't even taped up properly, different carts from other stores, hardly any shelfs stocked and most things appear broken. There were a few items that could've been brand new but they wanted 2/3 of the original price with zero proof everything is in the box. Very expensive for returned, discounted and broken items. I'll stick with Ollie's and other thrift stores with cleanliness and higher quality items. Go anywhere else!!

The store is absolutely in disarray. Employees act like your bothering them to ask a question. It needs organized so bad. I have been told other stores are neat & clean. Not Monroe store. There is no change just lazy employees if they organize it people would would help keep it straighten up. If it looks junky they they will treat it junky.

Beware buying any furnishings that require assembling- You might not getting all the pieces. Didn't know this store carries returned merchandises from Amazon, Walmart and other big box brands. I thought I hit the jackpot of finding good deals and only to find out the drying rack and shoes rack I bought from here didn't come with all the pieces to make it functional.

You really have to look carefully at everything. Prices arent always what is listed. Bargains can be had, but extreme vigilance must be observed. Also, dont go near dark. Dangerous area, especially for women alone. Someone trued to steal my handicap license plate off my car.

I bought a trampoline from Monroe, Louisiana dirt cheap. The item was in the original sealed box so I thought I was good to go. I got home and it was only half the trampoline. Apparently, the original item shipped in two boxes. When I realized what happened, I was super upset. Being familiar with dirt cheap policy I was worried I was out over 300. I called the store about the issue and received exceptional customer service from all involved. Store employees and managers spent over 15 minutes trying to locate the second box in the to put to the side for me, making sure I had all the parts needed. All staff could have easily just said sorry you bought at your own risk you’re out of luck but instead went above and beyond to help. I am very thankful for their courtesy and assistance with this issue.

Remember — you're buying salvage here.Sometimes you hit, other times...not so much. I bought a Simpson 3500psi power washer here for $115. Even after replacing the hose (crushed connector) and buying a nozzle set, I wound up with a $400 machine for less than 200 bucks.I consider that a win.

They have really cleaned this place up. there are still a few shelves just thrown up but employees attitudes are great. they walked around if I was in their way. they were really friendly. I never go looking for anything particular just go to see what they have. Spent way less than what 1 rug would have cost full price. I love it.
