I get my cakes here all the time & they are amazing. The woman in the bakery named Jada is always so sweet. She always goes above and beyond to make sure that my needs are met. She is truly a gem to the store. The store is also always very clean and never had an issue with expired products on the shelf.

I absolutely love this store! I worked there for right at two years. I absolutely loved every minute of it. It’s really one of the best places I have ever worked!! 5 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all the way around the board!!!

One of my favorite Brookshire's to come to. It is always well stocked and clean, and the workers are all very nice. They have a great selection of things, and I'm definitely quite fond of the deals that they have. Definitely make sure you have one of the free member card things, which are pretty easy to sign up for, so you can take advantage of the sales. Even though their prices may be steeper than places like Walmart, the sales make certain items a lot cheaper to buy here then larger chains like that

Brookshire’s is where I head to when I want fresh and delicious fruit as well as gourmet items. Tasty delicacies like French macaroons and much more. They have a vast selection of cheeses. More stores have gotten away from in house butchers or fresh seafood but not them. I can place my order for red snapper early in the week and pick it up in a few days. At every location that I’ve been too the staff is helpful and pleasant to me not matter the time of day. I prefer to speak to the cashiers vs self checkout. And the baggers always take your bags to the car. Perfect grocery store for seniors as well, working motorized carts and spacious aisles.

Poor customer service. Came in about 6:35 to purchase a few steaks from the meat market. Rang the bell a few times, and no one came. My wife asked a manager for assistance. He assured her they were open, and probably busy taking out the trash or something. Finally a lady came out and said meat markets closed. Pretty early to stop selling meat ..whatever

What can we say about a Well Known grocery store? It's clean, smells clean inside, has everything I need, and then some.Brookshire's is my new #1 grocery store. I am learning my way around in the store, so I spend more time searching the isles for most items. I am sure someone would help me, if I were to ask.Everyone that I have encountered in the store have been so friendly and helpful. The cashiers have all been friendly and patient. Today, as I was leaving the store, a gentleman worker saw me lifting the bags out of the cart, and asked if he could be of service. I told him he could move my shopping cart back to the other side. But he said he could carry my bags to my car for me. I told him no thank you because my car was so close.A store with service. It is wonderful.Just Me, De7-1-2021

They carry my favorite hummus and my favorite whole grain crackers. They also have other vegan products like vegan butter, cream cheese, and vegan pizza. They also have great produce. Today I got a bag of 4 small avocados for 2.19. The avocados have gone up.Zevia Organic tea is 2 for $3.00. I got 3 12 packs of pop for $12. I got my flu shot and organic spices were buy 1 get another for a penny. I got turmeric and ginger.

For many shoppers, the debate on where to get groceries starts and ends with cost. Everyone knows Walmart has the best prices overall, but there are good reasons one might want to occasionally shop at this Brookshire's on North 18th instead of the Neighborhood Market across the street1. Brookshire's has a good assortment of fresh sushi. This is true of many locations. The sushi is as good or better as anything you'll find in a local restaurant and you can pay for it with SNAP.2. They have the widest assortment of cheeses and wines outside a specialty shop.3. They have some niche products that are difficult to find elsewhere, like certain flavors of mochi and Whataburger breakfast sausage.4. Their weekly deals can actually offer a better value on some products. Their weekly mailer is one of the few ads that I actually look at. Keep an eye out for their Buy One Get One for a Penny sales. Pair that with their daily offering of 4 for $20 meat and chicken packages, and you can leave with more than you would at Walmart.5. Their pharmacy is top-notch. A lot of times, I go just for the pharmacy.I tend to go to the Walmart Neighborhood Market across the street because the prices are better, but when I'm not getting much, Brookshire's is a nice experience. If you shop selectively, utilizing their sales, you can get better deals on occasion. Staff at both stores are friendly, but I have had more memorable nice encounters with staff at Brookshire's. Generally speaking, the store is clean and well-maintained and can be a good alternative if one has a little extra cash or time or just doesn't want to spend money at the megalithic corporation across the street.

If you look like you have no money or your clothes doesn’t look good, you don’t need to go to Brookshare market they going to send a police officer behind you and he going to be next to you tell you exit the door looking at you like you are a thief.They did it twice to me with a different police officers. First time I thought it was the police officer has some problems but a week later another officer did it to me, that mean they manager gave them some direction that if you see someone looks like he doesn’t have no money just stay behind them.

This is a very clean, nice grocery store with always friendly employees. I like that they always take your groceries to the car for you and help load them for you. Nobody else does that anymore. Prices aren't too bad and they do have good specials from time to time. They do a buy one, get one for a penny sale that I try to take advantage of whenever I can. My only complaint is the layout of the store, which always has me going back and forth, across the store.

Best damn king cakes up here.. Im from South Louisiana.. Here the king cakes aren't a big deal...but this place was great. Loved the pacan praline especially. Good job brookshires.. I bought 10 in 2 days for my coworkers..

Nice, clean store. It may be a slightly pricier than Walmart groceries, but if you use the (free) Brookshires card and their points it really isn't too bad. In addition, you get exceptional service you wouldn't get otherwise - i.e. someone to walk out your groceries and load them in your vehicle for you. They typically have a great produce and meat section, as well as a good variety of other groceries overall. I really prefer Brookshires to avoid the hustle and bustle of other very large grocery stores. I am fairly new to this area but comparing it to where I am from, it reminds me of a Safeway or City Market.

If you are looking for great tasting food from your local deli, a store stocked for all your everyday needs, and a clean store to shop, then this is the store you want to shop. Not to mention that the employees are very friendly and they are ready to serve you, that’s great customer service.

I've already left a review awhile back regarding my feelings and opinion of this store.I really wish I could post a picture of what I saw this morning in their "sale" paper.Get this: Focaccia bread orig. price $1.99 on sale for $2.99 🤣.Again, I'm not a fan of this store or any store in Monroe for that matter. Coming from Houston, I am accustomed to reasonable prices and a number of options. Each store is owned by a different company so there's competition on pricing and quality.What I do not like about Monroe, is that Brookshires owns the other chain store Super One. Then the only other store you have to choose from is Macs.Why are these prices here SO expensive?And why can't Monroe get a Trader Joe's, Sprouts, or Aldi?I love HEB, but thats a Texas chain.But believe me when I tell you the prices and quality here are ridiculous.Monroe, you're getting robbed and you're gladly handing over all your $.While I'm here, I shop minimally at Walmart , which the prices are higher here than the Walmart in Houston. But I stock up in Houston at my favorite stores each time I go.There's gotta be a way to change this.

I made a order to the bakery in which I thought the worker and I agreed is was what I wanted. I get there to pick up my order and it's totally wrong. The cake taste like it was over baked 5 minutes longer than it should. I don't know if they have new workers or they just don't care, normally their bakery service is perfect but not this time .

Update: 7/11/22Back to 5 stars. The 18th St store in Monroe is better. Thank Mrs. Spikes. You make the difference.It is my go to for grocery shopping.Update: 5/5/22 from 5 star to 3.Not a fan of self check out and I don't mid walking my groceries out but you need to put a cart pen out there if the bag boys are going to ignore them. My vehicle has been hit 3 different times.

Clean and well organized, convenient location. Checkers are friendly, stockers not so much. Beautiful produce. Good sales most of the time except the buy one get one for a penny sale. It's a rip, prices are raised for that sale. Otherwise a great store.

I've shopped here for 20 years. Consistently the best grocery store in town. Clean, friendly/helpful staff, great produce, great deli, and overall great store. They also bring your groceries out to the car, have for years.

18th Street Brookshire looks small when you first walk in, but turn right, the store goes on and on. Also, this Brookshire has a wider selection of meats, produce, utensils, and everything! One rare find is refridgerated freshly grated horseradish. Normally, a gourmet deli item.

Clean and great service when checking out. I choose this location for the vegetables. They are much fresher than the closest Walmart Market Place which I do frequent as well. I appreciate the variety of items as well. Some prices could be lower. 😦
