Bathroom nasty, told DM there were maggots in it and she shrugged it off, the bottom bases are literally held up with products on the shelf, they expect miracles on 117 hour payroll, went to throw away old fixtures an associate fell through the roof and they wanted me to send him back up there. I wouldn’t. My kid was sick and I took her to the dr and was in trouble for not telling DM. Yet, I was coming back when I was done. I would be there literally any other time. Child comes first I put in two week notice email DM and received separation notice after I had to ask for it and it said FIRED. No, I quit!!!! Funny how DM boss tried to get me to stay but I was fired. Ok! Awful work/life balance. I tried to clean it up working 100 plus hours a week and no one appreciated it except for some customers. That’s what I did it for anyways. My customers mean the world to me. I even told staff if you need me call me. I’m leaving company not you. I couldn’t continue to kill myself for a job who doesn’t care. I did make that store look good for short time I was there. I was tired of working trucks alone because they didn’t give me enough payroll. I have a lot more but it’s taking too much of my energy. I didn’t get fired I Quit. I worked 2 week notice I sent Via email and stayed longer while my replacement was being trained. So yeah, DG make sure your DM doesn’t mark whatever on paper because they are on power trip!

Its exactly what you would expect....a dollar store... if you want better quality or service pay more money.

This is a terrible Dollar General. For part of the summer the air conditioning was broken. They brought in portable air conditioners but once the air was fixed the portable units are still clogging up the store. I don't know who the manager is but this store is horrendously run. Shelves are rarely stocked and the whole store is just a disorganized mess. I don't think I've ever been to a worse run store.

This store is in serious need of a facelift although I give it 4 stars the staff is extremely friendly very pleasant and helpful the store was reasonably organized and they had a great selection not to mention the great price point of all of their products I guess I would have to say the saying is true don't ever judge a book by it's cover I almost didn't go in the store but thought oh I just don't feel like crossing the street it was worth not doing that I was satisfied and glad I went in

Decent supply, just have to look for what you need. Very unorganized store. Heard an employee tell a customer ," I'm sick, do you really want me to help you" ! Not a good thing to say.

They only had one clerk working and a line all the way to the back of the store. It was not very clean and the staff was complaining about having to be there. It wasn't the best store. Sorry wouldn't have even given it one star but seemed wrong not to give it at least one, I mean the price was ok I guess

Alot cleaner but no public restroom and always hot inside because their ac stays broken. If you want to shop at a dollar general I'd suggest the sibley store it's a whole lot cleaner they have way more stuff than minden.

The worst dollar store ever they never have what you need and it's nasty and unorganized there is always a mess you have to walk over stuff 😡☹️😕 th one in Ruston is nice.

It's one of the most disorganized stores I've ever been in & in the summertime it's HOT always in there. So nothing to brag about.two stars is strictly for the workers.

The worker's are friendly but this store never seems to have what I'm looking for. It is very hot in this store so it is not a place to shop in for very long.

Ok....so I am from out of town just killing some time. I was at the register buying some items and asked to use the bathroom. The young girl says "I lost my key and it is locked. So No." Thank you young lady. I hope the same happens to you one day.

What a mess! Seriously needs organization. Probably because it always appears to be understaffed. But the one (occasionally two) employees are nice.

The cashier/manager took the register down while we were still in the store. They did not announce store closing to be sure there were no more customers in the store. Just very rude, not Courteous, or professional! We were very disappointed...

Would be a lot better if it were more organized, cleaned, and stocked. Seems to be stolen from a lot with all of the open and empty packages everywhere
