I love taking my dogs here, the vets are very nice, and do their work well. The only reason im giving this a 4 stars is because i had gone in for some shots that my dog needed at the time and they ended up putting more than i expected to have them put on. I plain told them i only came in for 2 or 3 of them and i would later come in for the rest of them. So i had got the bill of close to $1000. Dont know if the tech person didnt tell the vet or what, but i know some communication was lost somewhere. That was the only time i had an issue with. Make sure that your only pay for what your going in for no more no less.

Well this was very pleasent after a few days of not knowing if my pet would be here are not and they did an amazing job on my dog and gained a new customer he was lost for 2 days and they dropped him off here and iam very thankful couldnt have went anywhere else better than here thanks to all of the professional people i was blessed to meet yall

The staff is so friendly and patient. As a new pet owner I had a ton of questions and even with my appointment at the end of the day, I was no rushed. The vet, Dr. Arianna Page, was so patient and loving with my puppy who is still quite fearful of new people. She did not rush my puppy or try and use force but instead really focused on building trust. My girl was loving on her by the end of the appointment, even after getting 3 shots. I am so happy to have found such a great vet.

I cannot recommend this VCA clinic enough! Recently, I found a stray dog wandering down the highway and brought him to the clinic for help. The staff was incredibly kind and understanding, and they quickly took him in for a full examination.Throughout the process, the staff at VCA kept me updated on his condition and progress and were always available to answer any questions I had. They treated him with compassion and respect.He is now at home with my other two dogs happy and healing up.In addition to their exceptional care for animals, the VCA clinic is also incredibly clean and well-organized.If you're looking for a veterinary clinic that truly cares about animals and goes above and beyond to provide exceptional service, I highly recommend VCA. Their compassion, professionalism, and dedication to animal welfare is truly unmatched.

I only took off a star for pricing, but it’s worth the price. I came here the first time because there was a promo(?) going on that the first appointment is free, which was great as I’m not that well off financially. I then got my pup on their wellness plan (it’s $70/ month for a year) because I wanted something to fall back on in case something happened. It covers everything (spay/neuter, vaccinations, vet visits, nail trimming, tests, etc) except for prescriptions.We recently moved an hour and a half away and added another pup to the family. I took the new pup to a vet here to save on money (in Amite) and I will not make that mistake again. I would rather drive the hour and a half to come here. At VCA they explain everything and don’t make you feel stupid about it and treat your pets correctly and with more passion. It’s better to eat the money and come here than to go to another and have your pet treated incorrectly, so I highly recommend VCA.A happy, healthy (and a little crazy) pup. Also wished they had emergency hours ):

VCA Airline in Metairie, La.has excellent doctors and staff that are not just there to make their salary. They all go above and beyond on a daily basis. My pets have had many procedures done over the past 25+years at this facility .Each time I have compared their prices with all of the major vets in the area . VCA Airline always has the lowest prices while VCA Causeway consistently has the highest prices. The level of care offered by VCA Airline is and always has been the best I've found anywhere.

They're always so helpful and address my immediate concerns. Even though i didn't have an appointment, they took my furbaby in right away to meet his urgent needs. I'm happy to say that he is doing so much better than he was a few days ago and I thank Dr. McMillan for her attention and her expertise in making my kitty well again.

Amazing service! I went there because my cat lost one of her fangs. I was really nervous because veterinarians tend to have more experience with dogs and dogs are nicer... my cat is not. Dr. Dixon and another girl (I don’t remember her name) took their time to make my cat feel safe and comfortable, after that they checked her and gave me her diagnosis which was better than I expected. I love that they are very thorough and explained everything about the medicine but mostly how they care so much for animals including mean cats. Their prices are reasonable too!

This animal hospital is awesome. I had a couple months of pure panic that something was wrong with my dog, and I was constantly bringing him in. They never seem agitated when I showed up, and the vet even offered to "watch him" for the day a few times while I went to work to ease my mind. They were so sympathetic towards me when I had put lay my first dog to rest two years ago, and I honestly just can't say enough about this hospital. The staff and vets are honestly so caring and friendly. Keep doing what you guys do because it keeps me coming back.

Dr. Saunders I would like topersonally thank you for helping up cope with the loss of our sweet layah , although it tough for us . With out you and your staff I don't know how we would have made it . It's hard to forget that I was last here to put my Greyhound to sleep. Staff was very nice (as usual) trying to confort our loss. Very humane. This is a great vet clinic. Services provided are excellent including boarding. Wait times could be a little longer than necessary however when it's your pet's turn, it will get the best possible care.

Had a wonderful experience at VCA Airline Hospital, staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, and prices were rather reasonable. It was my oldest cats first visit because she had some swelling on her ear. They took care of the problem same day and gave me medicine to help without breaking my bank account! They even sent home my sweet Sasha with a kitty goodie bag! I definitely be returning with my other three fur babies!

I just recently moved, and was looking for a new vet. I decided to give them a try because of the complimentary first exam. They were fantastic! My dog can be cranky at the best of times, and they were so patient with him. He's never been so well-behaved at the vet. They were just so awesome.

a terrible veterinarian tried to force a surgery on my poor sick cat to get money out of me. they gave him two shots that only last 24 hours without my consent and charged $200 and was trying to make us pay $1k for the surgery. i ended up taking him to another vet for a second opinion and they told me he doesnt need surgery and all he needed was antibiotics and to clean the wound twice a day. they told me that this place was supposed to give him something that lasts at least 14 days. this place just wants to scam and take peoples vulnerability for granted. THIS VET DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR PET THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY!!!

Dr. Thibeau, all the desk staff, and vet assistants are incredible! My dogs are always happy to visit their friends at the doctors office. Both pups get exceptional and compassionate care. We cannot recommend VCA Airline enough! From health maintenance to surgeries and major illnesses, VCA Airline is amazing.

Went for my first complimentary visit a couple weeks ago after adopting my pup from the Jefferson shelter. Really easy to schedule my appointment and the staff was helpful when I called back a couple times with questions/concerns. Everyone was incredibly friendly and accommodating when we arrived. My dog isn't friendly towards other dogs, so they put us in an exam room right away. Dr. Goocher and her staff helped alleviate my worries regarding my dog's impending heartworm treatment.

Absolutely fell in love. The staff was superb. J had a million questions and wanted to write everything down. They were extremely patient with me and my pup and I never felt rushed or awkward for asking questions. I suggest getting on the care plan they offer. Makes keeping out furry babes more affordable! There's no one else I would trust with my boys! Dr McMillen has taken impeccable care of both my cats for their entire lives. She has a very welcoming and friendly demeanor, and is VERY informative. There has never been a time when I left the office feeling like I didn't understand her treatment plan. Kyle, Tiffany, and the rest of the staff are awesome as well, they REALLY know their stuff! I also saw Dr Thibeau when Dr McMillan was out of town, and she was great, too! She even went out of her way to text me when I had some additional questions about one of my cats! Kudos to Dr Macmillan, and the entire team! You guys are truly incredible, and I reccomend you every chance I get! Thank you so much for all you do!

This place is the best. The staff are very kind and knowledgeable. They know the animal and owners name and always greets you. They allow a payment plan, in case of emergencies. They always put the care and comfort of the animal first. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

At VCA you can schedule you appointment online or over the phone. There’s several veterinarians to choose from but I don’t think you could go wrong with anyone if their vets. The vet tech is also quite helpful. The front desk is friendly and help as well. Overall my experience here has been great. They leave plenty of time for any questions and concerns during the visit. Thanks so much for taking care of our pup!

Very caring and thorough. Dr Kahn (I believe) was a very nice gentleman and seemed very knowledgeable. They saw us very quickly which was a big relief. An even bigger relief was that my dog's nose bleed was due to allergies. I've never seen a dog's nose bleed so they could have easily taken us for a ride, honesty and trustworthiness and that's huge when looking for someone to take care of your pet.

Do NOT trust this facility. Our dog did not come home and they couldn’t tell us why he passed at the young age of 7. They did however make sure they collected the money. This place disgusts me and apparently others who have also had their pets not come home.
