I applied to adopt a cat from this place. I received a very brief email in reply informing me that they had decided not to accept my application. I responded, asking if they would explain their decision to me, and received no reply. I even called them, and spoke with someone on the phone, who assured me that she would reach out to the folks in charge of adoptions and have them contact me. Still never heard a thing. I still have no clue why they decided to decline my application, and I consider it very poor business management to do something like that to someone without even bothering to offer them an explanation. I saw nothing wrong with my application whatsoever. Wouldn't adopt from this place even if they did accept my application at this point.

Extremely overpriced! Luggage was $80 for a little carry-on. They had a Coach purse for $239.Also there are cats wondering all around the place.

We love this place! Absolutely beautiful cats, all very well cared for. Recommend a visit to anyone who loves cats. We would want to take home all the cats if we weren’t heading back home to England 🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱

Wonderful shop, very nice people (to EVERYONE), and some amazing kitties there that can be adopted.The shop is more like a boutique thrift shop; they don’t sell, stock, or accept clothing - but do have a unique mix of items for sale. The prices are very reasonable. The staff is very helpful, friendly, and are very happy to assist anyone who comes in the doors, just be careful not to let the cats out!The cats are well cared-for, and are available for adoption through an application/vetting process. The shop cats are the best and friendliest from the SpayMart sanctuary, so you would be guaranteed a wonderful little furry friend if your application is approved.All the proceeds from the shop go to caring for the cats. It’s a wonderful cause! Great cats, great people, great merchandise. A+++++

The cats at the shop are very well-loved.When I moved into a new apartment, I found many beautiful and useful items at SpayMart.Thanks to everyone who cares for the cats, especially Lynn for her tireless efforts.I sure do miss Claude❣

Love this place.....the cats are beautiful and loving and provide as much pull to come in the store as do the friendly staff and the surprisingly eclectic assortment of knic knacks, glassware, seasonal decorations, collectibles, purses and much more. And the prices are Very Good.

If you are person of color, this is not the place for you. My mother and I went into this place, and as we walked in there were two ladies at the front desk, neither of them directed a word to both my mother and I. As we started walking around one of the ladies started following us. She never said a word to either us, but tried to discreetly follow us the entire time, however it’s a small store, sweetie, I am obviously going to notice you following us. The reason I mentioned race in my review is because a few minutes into us being there two white ladies walked in and were immediately greeted warmly and welcomed into the store, a courtesy that was not granted to my mother and I. I’ve worked retail, a good employee greets everyone the same, this was not the case for us. I was so disgusted by their behavior that I told my mom, we’re leaving, I’m not staying in a store I am clearly not wanted in. Hopefully the cats are treated with more kindness than we were. This happened a few months back and I kept going back and forth on whether I should write a review, but their behavior was unacceptable and needs to be brought to light.

Spaymart is directly behind TJMAX on Vets. They have cats that can be adopted for about $65 which includes neutering and placement of a microchip. The store sells great bargains to support the rescued cats in Mississippi and in the store. So if you want to help out orphan cats and pick up some great buys in the process, this is the place.

This is a very tidy , well organized shop with lovely Staff ~Well stock shelves with the usual Thrift Store items ...and as always I enjoyed my hunt trying to finding that much needed unexpected item , this is what the fun is for me when shopping at a Thrift Store 😍Xxe~

We have ervice dogs with papers and was told not allow cause they got a cat. We have supported places like this around Florida but can't here.
