A GREAT BIG THANK YOU to Dr Sagrera and staff!We were advised by another Vet to put our baby down in July. We picked him up on a stretcher cause he couldn’t walk or stand. That was after 3 months of tests, medications, treatments and LOTS of money.We were Heartbroken! With many prayers and tears, we were not convinced he was ready to die. And we certainly were not ready either.Dr Sagrera was able to see him quickly due to a cancellation. From first visit, it was obvious our baby was in Great hands! What can I say, Dr. Segrera is VERY knowledgeable!!! I’m a hour away and I’ve called her twice to her emergency line (after hours). She has answered promptly and recommended me something at the moment to help my dog. During my first appt she educated me so much and has helped me understand my two chihuahuas better. I drive a hour to see her, but it’s worth it. I have an appointment next week and I’m ready with a notebook and questions I want to ask. She is professional, knowledgeable, straight forward but most importantly she TRULY cares and loves dogs.

I have taken my dog to several vetenarians in the past who hasn't been able to figure out his vomiting issues. Dr. Sagrera knew right way that his liver enzymes had to be checked. He has had blood work in the past but they never tested his liver enzymes. Turned out my dog's liver cannot handle high protein and his enzyme levels would be too high after eating too much protein. Dr. Sagrera helped modify his diet along with some supplements and it is now under control. He recently had his liver enzymes tested and it was normal! Dr. Sagrera has also helped my dog with other issues as well. She is very knowledgable & experienced. I love her holistic approach to care. She is the only veterinarian I trust with my pet's health. I recommend her to everyone I talk to regarding their pet's health!

I value Dr. Sagrera's professional opinion and felt she cared for my dog well. However, I find her demeanor off-putting. I dreaded appointments because she often scolded me (for instance, she scolded me for "taking up her time with questions" at an annual appointment). I also disliked that there was a charge for emailed questions, particularly when the question was whether or not I needed to bring my dog in to be seen. I continued seeing Dr. Sagrera while I lived in New Orleans because I felt she was a good vet and I appreciated her natural approach, but was unhappy with how I was treated as a pet owner.

I love Dr. Sagrera 's approach to veterinary care. I know that she mainly practices or uses natural, holistic methods and remedies. But she is not adverse to introducing more traditional vet meds such as antibiotics if she feels the patient needs it. She does not push or pressure the pet owner to use one type of therapy over another. She is honest, gives you options and really involves the pet owner in decision making. And if there's an issue that she feels she is not equipped to handle, she will let you know if a specialist should be involved in your pet's care. I am glad that I switched from a traditional vet to Dr. Sagrera's practice. I feel very comfortable with my decision.

We spent a lot of money in vets that did not know what was happening to our one year old puppy. He would get really sick every two months.First time we brought him to Dr Sagrera, she took about two hours talking to us and examining him. She really took the time to make sense of the whole situation then Prescribe him some natural meds that helped him.Second or third time we brought he in, she figure it all out. Gave him proper medication and worked out a plan in order to get him better.Since then, He is doing much better. Dr. Sagrera and her Associates are the most caring and professional people. Dr. Sagrera is compassionate and patient. She tunes in to her animal patients and finds the Best way to help. It would be helpful if people would know more about their animal companions in order to help finding the right cure. Homeopathy is a different way than other systems and depends on astute observation of the patient. Dr. Sagrera combines different modalities to find what works. We travel 3 hours each way to bring our animal companions to be treated by her. We just wish she could be our Doctor also. Thank you Dr. Sagrera for many years of caring. When my cat met Dr Sagrera he had many issues. He is from a shelter. She figured out what was the cause of each issue. Another vet was seeing him and would just give him steroids as a bandaid. Now my cat is healty and acts like he is a kitten from being well and all of the health food he eats!Dr Sagrera is the best.

My husband and I live in Vermont. A looong way from Louisiana. I have never met Adriana Sagrera in person, but we have been consulting her for our many(!) various animals over the years. Many years. My records go back to 2004, but I think we started well before that. I consult her by phone and through email.Adriana is an amazing person! She is the best doctor I have ever encountered, veterinary or otherwise. Her dedication to the animals is unparalleled, in my experience. She is a highly focused, immensely talented, classical homeopath who also uses her arsenal of conventional and holistic resources, as needed. But it doesn't stop there. She has also acquired a huge amount of knowledge regarding animal nutrition, she has knowledge of herbs - both Western and Eastern - and she is always expanding her resources by attending useful seminars throughout the year.Adriana is a model of focus and dedication to the animals she is working with.
