I went there to get fox urine and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They also had dog food and dog toys and other dog items. They even had two, I think English bulldog puppies for sale. Of course I couldn't help but pet them.

It's a small store, but it has a good variety of items. They stock pet food and accessories. I saw gardening supplies and decor. I purchased bales of long pine needle mulch and bags of short pine needle mulch. Both were reasonably priced. They even have puppies and baby chicks! The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The staff is very helpful. However, the owner changed where they store the pine shavings and increaced the price by $1 a bag. Every order I have picked up in the last month has had several WET, MOLDY bags. Mold will kill my mule if she eats it.Do not buy shavings here!

This is a great place for feed and supplies. However, I don't support selling or buying puppies there. On two separate occasions when I was there, I noticed that the puppies water bowls/bottles were completely dry, and I would like to see them stop selling puppies there completely. Please consider supporting your local SPCA instead.

I been shopping in this store for years! First of, they have everything I need to make my pit bull big and healthy. He has very little body fit. He looks completely ripped thanks to their inventory. To their supplements, diamond extreme athlete dog food, and coat pills, he looks great! I will always continue to shop here thanks to the amazing customer service, and their quality of products. Their staff is super friendly...and available when you need help (unlike other chain stores). AND they always have pets! Part of the joy of a pet store is getting to see the pets! And their product prices are very reasonable. A REAL pet supply store!

Staff is very friendly. Great supply/inventory of food, treats, toys or anything else you'd need like leashes, bowl, etc. I always look forward to coming here to see what animals they have for sale- puppies, kittens, birds, rabbits, ducklings.... All around good store with quality products.

I've noticed they limited food options recently. So many out there, I don't blame them, but my dog won't eat anything they sell. I've bought beautiful chickens here. I recommend for lawn and garden, feed, and just Pet supplies. Not the food.

Very friendly place to do business the customer service is great and they give that quality service you really look for when dealing with a feed and pet store. I would recommend any double M feed location to anyone for all your feed and pet needs ranging from horses to chickens, dogs, cats, you name it they have it or can get it for you! The gretna/terrytown location is where I do my business and Mr. Blaine Strander is the man to see.

Went in to look at pets and we were the only ones other than employees at the desk. Looked all around and was never asked if I needed help or even acknowledged. Don't waste your time if you value customer service. No one their wants to help

very rude and pushy on the phone. When she answered the phone she just said.."hello" and nothing else. an she acted as if it was a bother she had to answer the phone in the first place. i asked if they sold non gmo feed for chickens and she said they do which is great...they sell a texas natural i believe she said.. i asked what did that feed consist of...meaning what are the ingredients in the bag... she then started to grill me with questions about if my chickens were laying or if they are grown and this and that. I then asked again an she kept talking while i was talking and not letting me speak. so i was like..are you always this rude to customers? she said she wasnt being rude an needed to know all these answers.. dont know how those answers would have anything to do with what that feed is made up of.. told her id take my business elsewhere. i rather not deal with pushy people who wont answer a simple question..

For the third time buying chicken feed from here, its full of weevils. I notified manager of said issue 3 times. And well it’s full of weevils again. Uncaring staff when mentioned, I tried to give you the benefit of a doubt. Well that’s what I get for trying, disappointed again
