I was anxious about coming here, so I figured I would do a visit to see how things worked before coming for a shopping trip. Around the edges is produce, meats and dairy. On the interior aisles is the shelf stable items. There are several self check out lanes, and one that is manned. Check out and go to the table by the exit to bag your own items. The process of getting your cart is not like the process at the airport, there's a spot on the handle for the quarter to go to release the cart to you. You plug it back in to get your quarter back. Reasonable prices on inventory. On the seasonal shelves, I did meet some of my gnome friends.

Great discount grocer, but check the ingredients! 😳They have a good selection of fresh produce, meats, cheeses, dairy and non-dairy milks including some organic.Best discount prices on bottled and canned goods, but this is where you really have to be careful. I thought I found a great deal on pickled beets for my salads, and they tasted great. Come to find out the 3rd ingredient is high fructose corn syrup! 😩Other than that, we love shopping here weekly for better prices on our routine fresh items.

Was super impressed my first visit! They had a lot of really nice things, the produce looked great and the store was very clean. They have SEVERAL gluten free options for decent prices here. The Aldi branded foods so far have all been very good - especially the coffee creamer!

This is my favorite grocery store to go to hands down. It’s always clean, the prices are AMAZING compared to other grocery stores(like rouses, Walmart, Winn Dixie,etc.), and the have a wonderful selection of products. I usually go in with a list of 35-50 items and there’s only one or two items I can’t find/they don’t have. I’ve told all of my friends and family to go here for affordable but good quality stuff. And don’t even GET me started on their chocolates!!! Better priced than Hershey and significantly better tasting.

This Aldi location was clean and I experienced a very friendly cashier! Bring your own recyclable bag for your reasonably priced groceries. I purchased a 2 lb. bag of salmon for $12!!! I’m looking forward to visiting again.

I had greater expectations of this store. As I entered, I passed through the produce section which reminded me of secondhand produce. The store was small, and did not carry anything that I needed. I see good reviews elsewhere, but I can’t give this store on this daya decent review. I won’t go back.

Unexpectedly early, 8pm, closing time, (has it always been so early?) Such great prices. Well mapped out. Harder to forget anything if you follow the isle directional flow. The cashiers are almost always the best and courteous. Don't forget your bags or boxes unless you want to buy some. Aldi rocks.

Always clean and stocked. Good prices and quality items. They don't have alcohol delivery with Instacart like in Michigan and they have more self check out lanes than actual cashier lanes. Other than that, it's one of my favorite stores.

It's clean. Specific items are sold for very reasonable prices, such as produce, bread, and dairy products. There is a small section that sells seasonal products one might desire (e.g. pool and beach floats during summer.) You must put a quarter in a shopping cart and return it to get it back, bring your own shopping bags or purchase them, and it's mostly self check-out, but this is how prices are kept lower.

Finally got to go to this location on Vets. I have always loved Aldi and wish they would open one locally. Love the prices and all the fresh fruit options. Also love their breads. The meat selection seems to be pretty good for the meat eaters and the cheese selection. They don't keep anything in the back stock because they get a new truck daily. With that being said, if you see it, get it because it may not be available next time to go. Also, always keep a quarter and bags in the car. You have to have a quarter to get a basket. Sometimes you house key will work but that's not all the time. You have to purchase bags if you forget to bring your own so save the planet and keep reusable bags in the car. There are also self checkout options and a manned register for the cash payers. Highly recommend, much cheaper than Walmart, especially on fruits and veggies. Didn't get the meat prices, sorry.

Nice grocery store, I wish there were more items! I went and mainly brought fruit, and chicken I didn’t see much of anything else.The fruits are really nice here, everything is fresh! I will go here for my fruits every time from now on. The apples are huge, and so juicy omg i’m thinking about one right now lol. The prices aren’t outrageous, and there’s many dupes for certain items that are just as good. The chicken tenders I brought came with about 10 in them, and they’re a nice size only $7! I would’ve paid at least $13-$14 at Walmart!I also got a 24 pack of water for $3. Really nice place, with limited items!- The baskets are a quarter, and the bags at checkout also cost some change ( I don’t remember ) just bring atleast $2. Or bring your own grocery bag!

If you're not familiar with Aldi, they're a small grocery store. You have to use a quarter to get a shopping cart, which you get back if you put the cart back in line with the others. They have weekly ads that have some really good prices. Aldi has a couple of aisles devoted to seasonal decor. I've yet to find the place overly crowded. There are self checkouts, and you have to pay for bags or bring your own. Give it a shot. I think you'll like it.

This store is new, and I arrived during the last 45 minutes before closing, so the verdict is still out. However, I did find some of their produce, meats, and cheeses to be priced lower than that of the surrounding markets, which was a plus. There are unique finds for the home as well. They have brand named items as well as products that are comparable. I will visit again soon. NOTE: they do charge a fee for bags at checkout, so I recommend you bring your own bags.

Prices are pretty good, but selection and brand variety are too limited to make this a primary grocery spot. Also, the check out and bag it yourself process seemed a bit cumbersome. We will stick with Rouses and Trader Joe’s.

Although, this store is relatively new, the last few times I’ve been in there I’ve seen nothing but neglect, especially around the check out areas. I have photos, but not sure where I could post them. I didn’t get photos where the eggs were, but it was unbelievably nasty, and every egg carton I opened was filled with crushed eggs. When I lived in Birmingham, Alabama, the store there was always immaculate. And there were real people to help you, and check you out. Not one person was checking anyone out. What few employees they had in the store were doing something else. From now on, I’ll go in for just a few items that I can’t find anywhere else, and hurry to get out. This store needs a deep cleaning and it’s sad because it’s new. To think that we were all excited because ALDI was opening a store in Metairie. I’ve spoken to several people that said they were totally unimpressed, and they won’t be going back.

I went there for the first time the other day and I decided to find some things I needed for this recipe. A worker there saw me confused and helped me out and they were very kind and considerate. Her name is Treshelle and she deserves a raise for her dedication to her job. I will keep coming back for sure! Amazing employees here.
