This was my first time in Laborie's. Comfortable atmosphere, It kinda feels like a mom and pop grocery store but bigger. Employees are friendly and helpful.

Went to Labories today purchase a roasted chicken , I asked if the chicken was fresh? The answer was everything cooked fresh daily. Oh to my surprise the chicken was old and hard. Keep in mind it's just 12 noon. They wrap the chicken that you can't see it in the wrapper. Please check your food before you leave. Just a shame

Update 10-2-23, the store was clean and still well-stocked. The young employees were open and friendly, which is a huge improvement over other grocery stores where they normally will not engage with you. I still recommend a visit to this store.The place was clean and well-stocked. The fresh produce section was full and looked very fresh. I would recommend a visit, especially for fresh items.

Avoid shopping here! Store itself is disgusting. Looking at the brown meat on the shelves should have clued us in to steer clear. Every time we purchase beef, it goes bad well before the “sell by” date, and they sold yogurt that was already expired. We finally got fed up having to throw meat away, so when we tired to take it back and get something more fresh, the managers said there is “nothing they can do about it.” Never coming back.

You can't find friendlier cashiers. If Chik a flia was a grocery...this would be it.Love the free coffee, well attacked and ripe fruit. Always has grab n go dinners ready and sandwichs.

My family and I been shopping at Laborie's since the 70's ,it was always a good store, now I don't know where they find these idiotic managers. They are very rude which makes them stupid. I won't be shopping there again after all the years I spent there.

Clean, organized except didnt like the look of the meat department. The chicken and pork sections didnt appear to be at best. Just from my opinion. Most of it was on the last day of its sell by day. Only one employee i interacted with at checkout and was friendly and quick. Prices were decent for my budget. Dont let the empty parking lot fool ya. Not a bad choice for me. I recommend giving this place a visit.

The store has a lot of open space's that are empty of stock and the prices are outrageous but the other stores are about the same, as far as the staff goes they are willing to help in any way they can.

This store is a hit or miss. I've bought bad meat from there before. Honestly, I think it's worth traveling a little farther to Rouses on Ames or Walmart on Lapalco.
