Visited for the first time today. Walked around the garden center and the inside the store. We probably encountered a total of 4 employees and not a single one spoke. Not a single hello, how are you, do you need any help? The only words the cashier spoke was "is this gonna be all?" And our total $.We said, "thank you", as she handed us the bag. She didn't say a thing!!!! Not a thank you, you're welcome, have a nice day....NOTHING!!She absolutely would no longer be employed at my business!We drove one hour to visit Family Farm and Garden after being a long time follower on facebook. But, but poor customer service ruined it for me.

Hubby and I working on our fishing camp on Toledo Bend and needed to plumb a full bathroom completely from scratch. Glad we didn’t drive all the way to Natchitoches because not only did Family Farm & Supply have everything we needed, they have an employee named Rick who is very knowledgeable and was able to help us put everything we needed together. Thank you very much!

Definitely not the place to get propane tanks re-filled, I took 2 30lb tanks to get filled there, they go by weight so whatever amount propane you have existing in the tanks will count towards it. They still were not as full as I normally get them from my regular place that was out today. Not sure how many gallons I got because the counter did not work, but I got ripped off.Update: I just weighed my tanks and they are approx. 49 lbs. each. So I got shorted at least 1 gallon in each tank. Plus probably had a little less than a gallon in each when I got them filled. I paid for 14 gallons so at $3.50 a gallon I lost about $14.00 in total. Lesson learned…

First time in the place. Went in looking for some brad nails. There 4 women in there. Not a hello, how are you, can I help you find something. Took me a minute to google a cross reference. Got my nails and made my way to the counter. I guess I was invisible. Not one of them acknowledged me, as a matter of fact they turned their backs on me and ignored me. Be the last time I go in there. Not going to enable that kind of treatment.

Family Farm and Garden is THE PLACE to shop! The store is always clean and orderly. The shelves are fully stocked with everything you need to keep your farm running. The staff is extremely knowledge and happy to help with all of your questions. This is a great family-owned business.

I go to Family Farm & Garen every week to buy grain and hay for my goats. The ladies behind the counters are the best! They get my order right and quickly. They are friendly and professional. When I pick up my grain and hay the guys get it in my truck fast and away I go.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Prices are comparable to other farm and garden stores. They also have the best hummingbird food (the boxes of powder) that I've been able to find in this area. My birds are snobby and won't eat the ready to pour red stuff.

So I bought a deer feeder and lost the lid on the way back to Natchitoches. They replaced it at no charge. That's the kind of service that has me back at the store time and time again. Real employees too...not College students who are clueless.
