I recently took my elderly dog to have her nails trimmed at Petsense in Leesville and they did amazing! My dog really doesnt like nail cuts/trims, but the ladies were really gentle and soothing with her. Definitely will go back.

The pet groomers there are wonderful Ashley did an amazing job with my baby Monty. I highly recommend her for haircuts prices were very reasonable. Highly satisfied. My babies came back to me happy and and looking great!

Went in the get my fur baby's nails trimmed, a outfit and a treat of his choice. This is the first time I've taken him inside on his harness BB loved every minute in there and walked around like he owned the place. Ginger and I'm sorry I don't remember the gentleman's name but they rocked my cat loves everyone an loves to show off which he did. Thank y'all for everything we will be back soon. He loves his new outfit.

I am very unhappy with my grooming experience here. I took my German Shepard for a deshed bath and it was absolutely horrible. The amount of hair I brushed off of him AFTER the groom was ridiculous. On top of everything when I picked him up he was still damp so parts of him smell like wet dog a bit. The photo attached isn’t even half of the amount I brushed off.

I have been taking my dog here for about a year now for grooming and never had any issues until today. They didn’t even clean up my dog’s neck or tail end and left lines where they didn’t trim her hair.

Never shopped at Petsense until I moved here and I've been highly impressed. The workers are always super friendly and helpful. They always have crickets in stock and they're healthy. They take very good care of them and the tank they're in, and they live longer than crickets I've bought elsewhere. I like knowing my lizards are getting healthy food so we are very happy customers!

Do not get your pet groomed here. I ask for a puppy cut with a teddy bear face. This is what I got. They cut on him for 51/2 hours and he came home with fleas.

This place is hit or miss. Sometimes the associate on duty will be overly accommodating and very helpful, sometimes you won't get a single look in your direction as you walk in and brows the entire store looking for something; which is what happened today.

The store itself is fine but my review is for the grooming.We had our two labradoodles groomed for here for the second time. The first time they did a good job. I had no complaints. This time has been the complete opposite.They didn’t do what they said they would do at all. They actually did a really terrible job. We paid for full groom for both and they did bare minimum.One pup I’m not sure they did anything other than bathe and brush her. She didn’t look like she was cut at all.We took her back and overall she still looks the same. They did clean up her paws a little better but overall it was a waste.Our other pup they shaved her ears which was the one thing I didn’t want and they did nothing else. She needed the groom the most because her hair was super long. They didn’t cut anything. They asked me what I wanted to do with the hair on her head and I told them I wanted it at least half the length and they didn’t even cut it.When we brought her back they cut the top of her head.We called and took them back because they didn’t get any of the matted hair on her off like we asked them too. The areas they did cut too were butchered and extremely choppy. I told her I wanted both of them to have a “teddy bear cut”. I wasn’t expecting perfect but i at the very least expected them to look like they were groomed. On top of that my husband showed them a reference picture and she said “yeah I’ll do what was missed”. Which as a customer, ALL of it was missed. I could’ve saved the money, done it myself, and still do a better job. We will easily never come here again. Wasted money on groomers with no skills at all.Edit our groomer was Kim.

Very nice people. I went up in there with a newborn kitten I found and they made sure before I left that the kitten had somewhere to go and some food. I appreciate them taking in the kitten considering the fact I wasn't able to take care of it.

I took my dogs here to get their nails clipped and I was very happy with the service. There was a new employee training and the manager made sure to stay with her and ensure the pups were safe and happy. She was very patient and positive while training the employee which was awesome to see. After their nails were clipped the manager gave them treats and treated them like royalty.I have seen some negative reviews on the grooming which I can't speak on as my dogs have short hair, so I just bathe them at home but I will definitely go back for nail trimmings.They also have some affordable toys at the front that are 2 for $5 that are awesome since my dogs seem to love them as much as the more expensive toys.

I always buy my pet food here ever since they opened and have even gotten some supplies and treats, the staff is very welcoming and helpful. I enjoy their good deals. Grooming, I'm not sure who groomed my pup.. it was our first time having her groomed at Petsense they did a fantastic job! And she was finished in an hour ( probably had to do with us having an appointment made right when they opened) we got the full groom/bath and man's best friend add on. So $57 which is NOT bad they do require shot records which I like. My little girl came home smelling,looking, and feeling great. She even got a confident boost I believe haha. Anyways, I will definitely be returning for future services.

Update July 2021:Went by to check for any deals. I usually enjoy the experience but this time the staff just seemed like they really didn't want to be there. Like it was too much effort/annoying when I asked a question. I actually was going to also see about possibly getting my dog groomed there in the near future, but after getting that vibe, I just didn't feel comfortable leaving my dog there.Date: March 2021This is a decent pet store. There aren't many nearby and they have a variety of pet items (dog, cat, rabbit/chinchilla, bird, lizard, fish, etc.).Located in a shopping center area. Parking is limited and can get cramped if packed.Staff is always friendly and willing to help. I always feel comfortable asking questions and they help find sale items too.Some items they have: collars, beds, food, toys, treats, leashes, bathing/grooming, i.d. tags, crickets, gift cards, etc.They also usually have cats onsite for adoption.I do wish they had more for chinchillas/small pets. Most of their items are for cats and dogs. There is only a very small area for chinchillas/rabbits/Guinea pigs.

Our groomer Ashlie did such a great job on our puppy Karma. She was very kind and helpful when we asked any questions or needed any other information. I couldn’t have asked for a better groomer for my puppy’s first groom! Highly recommend.

Sometimes they don't have what I need, but still a good place to get majority of your pet needs. Prices are okay, you're really not saving anything but the pet groomer is amazing and the Staff have great personalities and are always smiling!!

Every visit by the groomer is a pleasure! Jennifer always does a great job! Our dog loves her!I'm glad, we have a good pet shop in town. They offer various items, in different price categories. Something for everyone! Plus - they often have different sales available! No long rides to Alexandria or Lake Charles anymore.

Becky is a terrific groomer. She is very good with our miniature schnauzer! He feel in love with her the moment he met her. Our veterinarian even mentioned to us what a great job she did with our dog’s ears. I would highly recommend getting your dog pampered here. Worth the money.I read the comment someone wrote about their dog getting kennel cough after having their dogs groomed here. It wouldn’t have happened if the owners kept their dogs up to date with their shots. Especially since they were traveling out of state.

I go here and buy my 70lb puppy food about every 3 weeks and after the 10th bag we get one free! They have animals for adoption and lots of toys to choose from. There's a discount you section as well. The staff is very friendly and will gladly help you take large bags out to your car if needed.

We took our Fuzzy pup here 6 weeks ago for grooming and Joanie did a great job, exactly what I asked for and she was done in less than 2 hours. We scheduled an appointment for today, not only did I have to wait over an hour just to be acknowledged....even after I said I was there for a grooming appointment because the dog they scheduled before mine was there 3 hours and still not cut. So I had to stand there and wait while they cut the other dog. They had my girl over 4 hours andit was only supposed to be a trim. She said she would do her cut exactly the same way she did last time but nope. She's cut lopsided and WAY shorter than I asked. Never again. I knew I should have never left her after they made me wait so long. Extremely unprofessional!!

My Puppy loves their Jerky treats which are non processed and 💯% meat with no additives or byproducts. Heck, I even like eating one with her now and then lol Best part is I often find deals on them there like BOGO half off!!! The staff are always very polite and helpful, I go there once a month to stock up and always leave with a smile knowing I got the best deal in town!!

I would not recommend grooming. You pay for a full groom and they don’t even bother to bathe your pup.

I had my Saint Bernard Pyrenees groomed. The groomer did not know what she was doing, She did an awful job on my baby. My dog looked like he was attacked by the Tasmanian devil.I was sooooo upset!!!Called and expressed how displeased I was. Young lady offered the option of taking him back so the groomer could fix him, I asked if there were another groomer which she replied no. I told her NO!!!!!She took my information and was told the manager would call me. I have yet to receive a phone call.

I went today !! Never been and I absolutely love it here everything is fair priced the stay super friendly and helpful all my questions answered and concerns the grooming is super cheap and the entire store is supper clean and organized!! Definitely will be back very soon !!
