Not the fanciest place, but the rooms were recently updated.Parking can be very crowded especially on the back side (#200 side) of the hotel.It has a bar connected to it that can get kind of loud sometimes.Update:The room I just stayed in was pretty nice. It was on the 200 side.New furniture and carpet. Usb ports were available. It smelled fresh.

I understand the rooms are in transition and undergoing remodeling. I was in a relatively new/clean room with older furniture (not a big deal). Missing from my room was a means to hang clothes ... not a single coat hanger or bar/hook in the room, which may be explained by the fact that the "new" furniture was yet to arrive.My single complaint and why its 4 and not 5 stars was the decision by ownership/management to place a large industrial toilet paper roll system so far back on the wall that trying to pull off some paper to clean up should come with a few coupons to a local 24 hour chiropractor. This decision should probably result in a loss of 3 stars, but I'm going to be kind. I absolutely hate the decision to ruin the remodel with a difficult to use and improperly placed gas station style mega dispenser. Whatever pennies your saving isn't worth it.Staff was attentive and the assistant manager who checked me in was friendly and able to work the bar and the front desk and made me feel like a local. Good job.

The room was clean. And the staff was super friendly. The bar is open until 2 am. 1 pool table and the locals are a good time as well. Trust me you will be entertained. My only complaint about the whole stay is that the room only had 1 lamp. So it was dim in the room. Other than that 5 star all the way, older place but staff keeps it up.

The none smoking room had been smoked in by the guest that left before we got there. Staff apologized and accepted full responsibility. Moved us to another room with no issue. Then kept apologizing and gave me a free hunts brothers pizza. I will be back, problems happen, accepting responsibility making things right is what successful businesses do...... I was already happy with the response.... And then they gave me a pizza.

Simple nice clean hotel. Staff at front desk was real nice and willing to help since our company cards for some reason didn't want to work and patiently wait until we figure something out. We went to the bar spend couple of hours there server was real nice people on that bar(customers)and locals everybody. I'll be back

Very clean, large room with a comfortable bed. Was quiet all night. The lady who checked me in was friendly with no weird vibes. There's a little bar connected to the place and a diner/convenience store a couple blocks away. I'd recommend the place to any budget traveler. The quality is higher than the average Motel 6.

The rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. The people that work there are amazing. We went to Grand Isle and our car had to be towed to New Orleans. We decided to stay here since it is the halfway point between the two places. They were able to accommodate our party of 10 for 2 days and it was a great price. They let us check in hours early and check out hours late in order to have a place to stay until our car was ready. They have a bar at the end of the motel but you never heard anything. They also have a little grill in thw bar and the food is great. If we are ever in that area again we will stay here for sure!

If i could score it less I would. The room appeared to be clean. As we began to get ready for bed, there was a sickening odor coming from one of the mattresses. As the night progressed it became worse. If i had to guess it was cat urine. My sleep shirt had absorbed the smell . We finally packed up and left at 1 in the morning to find somewhere else to stay. I even had to throw my night shirt away...

Very nice people and the rooms are cozy and clean. Don't let theoutside fool you...this place is well worth the price. There only thing is if you own a truck make sure you don't leave anything in the back. Over all a great place to stay and we will be back and have already told everyone what a great place it is and I am kinda finicky.

Connected to a bar and grill. The grill is open fairly late, decent prices. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Also, with the bar connected with the hotel it was surprisingly quiet in the room.

This place looks new and clean, but My fiance and I stayed here due to work. They have bed bugs didnt know it until one crawled across the bed. Then that's when we looked closer at the mattresses. Discussing and disturbing.

Everything was wonderful here thanks to Mrs CC ..what a awsome lady...the beds were comfortable the bar was great very low key..great food mrs cc was great bartendener an runing front desk . Only things I would say was the man who knockd on our kids an our door at 1108 halloring check out 5 mins ago was rude we are not dogs we were a family down for a rodeo an he was uncalled for ..the bath tubs are small but that's ok when you can have good staff aka Mrs cc that was real an down to earth. I grew up around here and it was never a place I would be ok staying.. maybe it was just rumors but this is my 3rd weekend in a row and my stay will be atleast 6days this time... They remodeled and it just a clean and comfortable place... The staff is AMAZING... My only PROBLEM IS THEY WON'T LET ME HANG UP ANY ROLL TIDE 😅 But I definitely recommend this place to anyone just needing soome down time.... recommend

My sink was broken under the counter and leaked. They fixed it the day after because it was reported at night, efficiently. No other complaints.

Clean and comfy. Good AC. There's an ice cream and burger place in the next lot over that's amazing. Pet friendly too.
