We have never be dissatisfied with our service here. Dr. Matt and Dr. Michelle have been taking regular care of our cats and dogs for nearly three years. We can count on them for straight talk, very fair prices, and making us feel like we are the only clients they have when our animals are with them. We've been through regular exams, surgeries, and week-long boarding, and I'd wholeheartedly recommend them for all of it. We receive follow-up phone calls after surgeries, and appointment reminders via email and phone calls. It's easy to pop in and pick up medications, and the rest of the staff are some of the friendliest and most genuine people I've met. They love our pets, and it shows. Our dogs even get excited when we pull in for an appointment, because they know to expect some love and treats. Our hearts (and our wallets) are happy here.

Michelle is literally an angel on earth. She has been my vet for 3 dogs and 1 cat. We lost our puppy to rat poison recently and Michelle was so kind and professional the whole time, her and the staff insured our Scarlets passing was as comfortable as possible for the pup and us. Even after closing time. Thank you south side animal hospital. You all are in our hearts forever

We've never taken our pets anywhere else. Not to disparage people or other vets, but I never will. This clinic is an amazing husband and wife team with an awesome staff. Reasonable or low costs, excellent care, friendly, accommodating, etc. After talking to others, I don't have to go anywhere else to know they're the best in town!

Dr Michelle and Dr Mac are Excellent! We have been bringing our Dog here since I found out that they opened their practice. She loves to come here and is treated like a little princess. They take great care of her and I know she is in the best hands possible. She is now 8 years old still as sweet as when she was a baby because they are so good to her and gentle with her. All of the staff are loving and kind as well. I miss Alec since he is away at school. I highly recommend them as vets. They keep track of her teeth because she was missing some adult teeth and we had to be careful with the baby ones since those were the only set she had in places. I was happy to know that Dr Michelle was so in tune with my pup to have caught such an important fact and monitor it over the years. They tell me when it is time for her heartworm preventative and rabies shots and keep me on track for everything. Thank you to all of you from the McCormicks. You are our family and we truly appreciate all that you do to help us keep Chouchou Happy and Healthy so she can be with us for however long we can have her here.

I had to bring Short, my blue Pitt, back in to have a consultation with Dr Michelle Traylor. Short had been on medication the past week for her sensitive skin and Dr Traylor was checking her all over to make sure there strewn by any side effects she'd experienced. My Short is always so happy and excited to "go visit Doc and all her special friends. Doc had originally taken care of Shorty when she and her siblings were rescued at 3 weeks of age.We all just love Doc - full of love for all animals, so very compassionate, a genius who has the greatest personality and presence. Can't do without her!!!

These are the best vets around they really care about your animal. I have changed my vet to them after taking a dog there that I was fostering for 4 paws since then I have changed all my dogs and cats there it is across the bridge for me but that is nothing when you get the care that they give to your animal I don't have a problem with going just right over the bridge it isn't like they are on the other side of lake charles. which would be a problem for me coming from Sulphur. Great Vets, Polite service they really care

This was by far the best place to bring our Pomeranian, Foxy. Michelle and her crew were amazing with her and unfortunately had to put her down due to kidney failure. We will always use Southside for any future endeavors we have with animals. Thanks for everything, Southside.

Had a very sick kitten and a limited amount of funds until payday, refused to see the animal without the full payment amount. No payment plan or anything was avaliable. When I asked what to do she told me to just let it die or she would euthanize her and bill me. Will NEVER get business fron me.
