I just love how kind the workers are here. Every time I need help lifting big bag of dog food , the cashier calls for someone to meet me there. Also for loading it in my car. Will be going to corporate. the worker named "Debbie" was so horrible to my me and my daughter. To the point of "tutting" and talking over me, and when my daughter had a question she said "I'm talking to your mom, not you" will be going to corporate and this girl needs to be trained properly or at least fired!

Do not bring your pet to get groomed at the petsmart in Lake Charles. The grooming manager has a nasty attitude and since my dog had long hair automatically put a matted fee plus shaved my dogs hair! And claimed she explained it on intake. If she felt they couldn’t groom her a call would have been sufficient as they were supposed to do!!! Thankfully it grows back but to charge $140 for something we didnt ask for is beyond crazy!! Got my doodle looking like a stray street dog!

Cashier tonight was beyond argumentative. She was huffing and puffing with a massive attitude.Had the nerve to say she was being argued with and how she "knew" she was right about not price matching crickets in store. She asked her manager they said to price match them and she still went on and on and on and ON about how she worked there for 2 years and knows she's right about not price matching the online price & didn't know why she was argued with.... She still overcharged for them to be petty bought 100 she price matched only half. very arrogant and all about being "right" it may do you guys better to put her in the back mabye she'd get along better with the fish since they can't "argue" wth her. Poor service.

I only gave 1 star becasue i couldnt leave 0. I received the worst grooming service ever. They do not know how to groom bernedoodles. If they don't know how to groom certain dogs, they need to say that. They shaved my dog to where she doesn't even look like a bernedoodle anymore. Then charged a matting fee just to shave her. I groom my dog regularly, brush, and comb her. So I know she wasn't bad enough to shave. They made a decision on their own because it was easy without getting my approval for a full shave. I would have gladly came pick my dog up. This was never said it was a for sure shave. They only said a possibility. This is too much money for what i received. I could have shaved her like that myself. PLEASE FIND NEW CAREERS!!!

We stopped by for items for our betta fish tank and got sidetracked admiring this cutie! We asked if one of the staff members could open the cage and let us really see the dwarfs and the associate was so intelligent and informative of this animal and answered all of our silly questions!

The groomer was out sick yesterday. They called to reschedule the appointment which was fine. We took our dog in for an appointment today that was rescheduled. Three hours later we call to check in because we haven’t heard anything regarding our dog. We were told that because the groomer was late so they are behind. In 30 minutes the dog will be ready. 3 & a half hours it takes to get a scheduled dog groomed without an apology or an explanation of why is not right. When we came in it should have been made clear that the groomer was running behind. Even an hour and a half later I would have accepted it. We weren’t given an apology at all. We had to ask why did it take so long when we picked the dog up. Just some advice to the groomers… positive customer service goes a long ways. Informing your customers of the situations should be implemented. Don’t over book to cause your staff to be behind in the work. Things happen, we understand, but understand that you cause people to wait around with no explanation. We pay you for a service. Which unfortunately was not a positive service. To my friends getting their pets groomed, do not be afraid to ask if they are on time or check in to see how things are coming!

First time there, and will be the last time their customer service was absolutely terrible, asked for help and they got upset cause I made them do their job, The cashier wasn’t any better. Definitely do not recommend coming here.

Great selection of all kinds of pet products. As well as dog training and pet adoption, to just name a few. I went there for a dog door for my two dogs . They have a very good selection of dog and cat doors. I'd say the best selection in Lake Charles. If you've got a fur baby or anything else fish reptiles or any other, and you haven't been there lately. Go you'll find all kinds of good stuff..❤️

Brittany is the most incompetent groomer I have ever spoken with. Trying to tack on every extra service possible: better conditioner and shampoo, teeth cleaning. When I said no, she had a snarky comment for each. Then, when she couldn't get that she charged a dematt fee on top of a full haircut. She was so rude and condescending saying if muzzling or a second person was required there would be more fees. We have been going to petsmart for years and have never had any issues or required such fees. My dogs love grooming and never required muzzles or extra people!!! But something tells me if I wouldn't have taken my dogs home on the spot. She would have tacked on and charged every extra fee she could. I wouldnt trust that girl to cut grass.
