Yesterday we decided to take Storm & Hendrixx to get their nails trimmed and shop for Storms birthday at @petco. They were doing great and making new friends walking around the store and when it was time we took them to the grooming desk. Storm's groomer was a younger associate named Charlie. We went to go pick up some food for them and then I went to the front to check on the puppies. When I made it to the front I overheard the groomer Charlie explaining to her manager Caleb that a dog fell off the table. I immediately asked if they were talking about my dog and they looked kind of shocked that I was standing right there. The manager and groomer tried to explain to me at that point that Storm had fallen off the table and the groomer said Storm bit her. The groomer was asking if she was going to get fired and the manager went to review the camera footage. Once back the manager said "Storms foot slipped off the table and that the groomer tried to catch her but she was too heavy and she fell". Anyone who has met Storm knows she is not aggressive and just because she is a bully breed does not mean that she is one. Safety should be prioritized for the pets at @petco and if Storm was "too heavy" for the groomer they should have had another groomer take her or said that they could not do the service, again, safety should be their number one priority. Alerting the parents should have occurred immediately! These are my babies not just pets.We took Storm directly to the vet to have her checked out, where they weighed her in at 42.2 pounds. Storm suffered from a dislocated digit and the vet had to wrap the entire paw to try and correct the dislocation.@petco please explain how this happened and what are you going to do to make sure it doesn't happen to another pet again.

The groomer was awesome made my Dolly look great, but it did take a while, which she apologized for the time. She was the only groomer and had 7 dogs that day, said her usual is 5. Will go back for sure.

They groomed my dog twice and both times just wasn’t up to my expectations. They offer services that they don’t perform such as nail filing which is included in the package deals. The LC store NEVER has to worry about my business ever again, I’d rather drive to Lafayette or Beaumont.

I was Extremely satisfied with My dogs grooming. His Coat has never been so shiny and silky. The stylist did an Excellent job! She will be my go to going forward. I live 32 miles away but I will be driving just to bring in my dog. Well Done!!

We called to make an appointment and were pleasantly surprised to get a spot within the next 2-3 days! Then when we arrived we were quickly greeted and processed. I was reminded it typically takes 3+ hours and would be called when our dog was ready... but we received a call less than 3 hours later. He looked fabulous, everyone was courteous and efficient (and safe). Thanks!!

I trust Brittany, our groomer! She loves our pup and treats her like she is her own! I would not go any where else to have my pup groomed but Petco and Brittany! I have been coming there for a couple of years and would not consider going elsewhere because of the way the groomers treat my pet! Brittany ALWAYS does a GREAT job!

Our groomer did an amazing job. Our usual groomer is closed due to hurricane Laura, so we brought our poodle to Petco. I was nervous to use someone new, but I have to say, this is the best haircut he has ever received. We will definitely be back to Petco.
