Had my cocker spaniel groomed yesterday. The people are very nice. My dog smells amazing. And the cut itself was fine. But they cut 2 nails WAY too short and she bled on my seat on our way home. And today I'm realizing spots on her body where she was nicked with the clippers. I was not informed of any of this upon picking her up. But the owners were very nice.

These are the best groomers you can come by. They are also very knowledgeable about health issues when you just need advise to treat any bobo to help prevent you from having to go to vet. They show dogs, breed dogs and just love dogs. I have 3 old babies and each one have issues and they are gentle and very careful with them. I would recommend them highly.

This was our 2nd time having our Golden doodle groomed here. We loved the outcome and Oakley still smells so good a week later. I would recommend them 😁

I brought my Mini Aussie to them this morning for the first time and I am SO impressed! My dog had heavy matting on his backside that he will not let me comb out. They took great care of him and he looks absolutely beautiful. We will be back, often! Thank you!!!

Awesome groomers. I have a grumpy Bichon Frise who doesn't like being groomed (from early age trauma, I guess). They are the only locals I've found who will take him on and they do a great job! They are wonderful for the effort they take with him.

I have been using Doug and Luann as my groomers for many years as well as getting the best family pets from them. They are very professional and knowledgeable about many breeds of dogs.

My goldendoodle Jackson and I were just in Lake Charles visiting my family for Thanksgiving. Jackson needed to be groomed and I figured I would just take care of it once I got to Lake Charles. Bad idea.I will never take my dog or any of my family's animals to Abarkus Pet Spa again. Jackson has multiple hot spots, only one ear was cleaned, he was cut 4 times and most of all, is now completely uncomfortable.The employees did not say one word to me about his skin being irritated and cut when I picked him up. I would have liked to be informed of the situation, at least, after being charged $75. This is not the way "knowledgable groomers/breeders" or ANYONE should treat an animal. Abarkus is NOT a safe place for your animal!!!!!!

My Pomeranian doesn't like just anyone, they took very good care of him...and did exactly what I asked them to do...and when I got there he wasn't traumatized... that says a lot... they did an excellent job...definitely recommend... we are new to the area, and when I called for an appointment she worked us right in, and knew what she was talking about... Thank You Again...as long as we stay around this area will definitely reuse...Oh and he smells soo good... 😃
