Very pleased with this hotel stay, rooms are spacious and clean, beds are comfortable, staff are wonderful, everything we needed, cute small town, and a lakefront park to enjoy within walking distance, we arrived too late to enjoy the waterfront restaurant (Sunday) but there was a small take out place with limited selection a couple doors down (LA Cafe) a good value with plenty of food. Will stay again!Safety: Felt very safe

Repurposed bank turned hotel featuring spacious, comfortable, clean, themed rooms. Newer beds and lush towels make you feel like you're at home. The lower porch and upper balcony are both filled with plants and seating for relaxation.Lisa was so hospitable and accommodating at check in. Restaurants, recreation at the lake & park, and stores are nearby.

Located on the main strip of this little town. You can walk to the nearby restaurant. The hotel staff is very accommodating and the rooms are nice, clean and cozy. Tammy and Leisa keep in touch with the guest and ensure that you have everything you need. The southern hospitality is unmatched!Noteworthy details: Unique design. Turned a bank into a hotel.

We loved the bank room. It was very comfortable. The woman and her husband doing housekeeping were very friendly and informative. Their little boy is so cute and friendly. The complimentary snacks and beverages were nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The room and whole hotel smelled nice. Cutelly decorated. We loved the upstairs balcony with the rocking chairs and fans. The location is amazing. It is walking distance to the beautiful beach, park, and eating. Our dog loved the beach and walks. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

While this hotel is a little out of the way via the highway it was still a great place to stay and dog friendly!! We picked this town to stay in on our road trip because our dogs name is Arty (Lake Arthur is this towns name) this hotel was a hidden gem with cute themed rooms. While it didn’t have all the amenities (full breakfast) it had snacks and coffee/water etc for guests to take as they pleased and the only downfall was there is no elevator. I would 10/10 fully recommend people staying at this hotel! It’s also within walking distance to the lake. Or a very short drive if you’d want to go that route as well.Happy we stayed!

Extremely nice Hotel. Spotlessly clean. Very polite staff. Quiet and comfortable will definitely stay here again. A/C and dehumidifier in room. Fresh coffee. Plenty of parking. Easy walk to the lake. The lake is also nice there's a restaurant there. Overall we were just passing through looking for a safe place to stay with the dog and this gem far exceeded our expectations.

We stayed in August 2022, breaking up the Galveston to New Orleans leg of a road trip. We had two rooms for our family of four. Really nice hotel, beautiful clean rooms, friendly and helpful owner. After more than 5 weeks on the road, Lake Arthur proved a peaceful, charming, and friendly town for a couple of days rest. We enjoyed eating too at the Regatta with great views over the underdeveloped lake and lunch at Main Street Deli. Worth going the few extra miles beyond Jennings if looking for an overnight stay off the I10.

This was our 6th time to stay here passing through.. As always, accommodations were perfect. This trip, we stayed in the Magnolia Room. The room was spotless, the sheets were high count and comfortable, bathroom amenities were provided. The location Is safe in the old charming downtown area. Lisa made us feel very welcome. We walked for dinner at the Regatta on the water and loved it. We will return.

Not only were the rooms absolutely BEAUTIFUL, Mrs. Tammy was so accommodating and nice our whole stay and even after! We had a late check-in, and she contacted us to ensure we had the necessary info to get into the room, and she then mailed us our card back that we lost during our stay! Shared balcony on the second floor was so relaxing, and we spent a lot of our time sitting and talking! Will absolutely be staying again anytime we’re in the area!! Such a beautiful and peaceful environment for any stay!!

A beautiful hotel, very modern rooms. This place was a very nice surprise, not far from the Lake and right by where all the food is at. The lobby was stunning and rustic. I loved the old western bank teller area, it keeps the history alive. Conventional parking was a big plus as well.I would definitely recommend staying here instead of any regular hotel chains, the rooms are way nicer and much more spacious then anywhere else I've stayed, plus the balcony is goes the full length of the building. It makes for a comfy place to sit, eat, and relax.

The bank hotel was just right for breaking up our road trip. It was very clean and spacious. The shower was clean and handicap accessible with plenty of warm water. The Manager there was extremely helpful. She met us there after hours for our arrival and even returned a bit later when we made the mistake of leaving our key cards in the room. The hotel also allowed us to bring our friendly German Shepard and had a small area to walk him in the back.

I really can’t say enough about this place. My experience was absolutely incredible! I got caught in a storm and had to make an emergency stop over night. The staff stayed late to check me in, were so kind and treated me like family, and even sent me home with a freshly baked cookie from the deli! This place is so charming and snuggled back into a cute town away from the busy city. The rooms were cozy, the beds were amazing and the fresh pot of coffee on my way out the door was everything I needed to get home. I will absolutely be coming back one day for a romantic getaway visit- and this time it’ll be on purpose!

Really fine room. Two comfy recliners. Swell shared balcony with rocking chairs. No elevator to the second floor, but solid stairs and handrails. Very personable check-in and place to stay. The restaurant on the lake is closed Monday and Tuesday when we were there, but the Main Street Café 3ish blocks away pretty much on the lake was delightful.

This place is so unique and amazing! There is a wine store in the old bank vault! There are also 8 incredible rooms, 3 of them have a king size bed and 5 of them have 2 queen size beds and recliners! The balcony looks over the quaint town which displays crepe myrtles on each blvd. Each Blvd is separated in patriotic color of red/ white/ and blue, which looks amazing from the hotel balcony!!!!! You can also purchase wine from the Old Bank Vault, and enjoy on the balcony!!!!!

We stayed one night while passing through, but would gladly have stayed for longer. This is a lovely place, welcoming, clean, comfortable and beautifully designed. The staff was helpful, the room had everything we needed and more, the place itself was charming. It's located along a very small-town main street, with an easy walk to the lake park and a good seafood restaurant. You get a nice taste of back-roads Louisiana. Could not have asked for a better driving break and treat.

Located in beautiful and quaint Lake Arthur, Louisiana, L' Banca Albergo is a hidden gem that deserves more attention. The hotel is a beautiful, spacious BnB type place that sits right up from the beach, and walking distance from all the great restaurants (and awesome lounges) in town. If you're looking for a REAL getaway, then get away here....
