I have used other Camp Bow locations but never been “WOWED” like this location. Friendly staff, easy check in, clean. Staff actually interacted with my fur baby on the camper cams. Camper cams work! I purchased ball pit activity and the pics and videos I received were amazing. I felt so great knowing my fur baby was getting great care! They also gave him a bath and he was ready right on time for me to pick up. We will be back!!

Oh My Dog! Our Holly loved it and they loved her. The staff took super care of her and kept her entertained while we were visiting Lafayette. Stephanie gave her the best grooming she’s had. Stephanie clearly has mad skills. So many lagniappes that I lost count.

Please read carefully. This review isnt fiction. My wife and I were fortunate enough to get a puppy in December of 2007 that was a King Charles Cavalier. We were living in Houston and named him Chester. In 2008 we moved back to Lafayette. My wife found Camp Bow Wow in its infancy. I think Chester was the 3rd or 4th puppy that Suzette ever welcomed to her Camp. And welcomed she did. We lived in Lafayette for 4 years till 2012 and then moved back to Dallas. We brought Chester to a few daycare facilities there but when we went on a vacation or a long trip somewhere we always drove back to Lafayette and left Chester with Suzette and the Camp Bow Wow staff. Our puppy was treated like royalty here. In 15 years Chester never left Camp Bow Wow without a smile on his face. 4 days before Chester passed away, even though he could barely get around, I have a picture of Chester sleeping and enjoying what would be the last time the staff of the Camp would see him. He was cuddled up and relaxing, trusting the staff at Camp Bow Wow with every bit of life left in him. He was cared for and loved as if he was their own puppy. Chester never drank tap water. He ate boiled Chicken and rice for most of his life and was one of the healthiest puppies I have ever seen. And to this day we would trust the Camp implicitly with his life. They carried him when he had to go outside. They covered him when he was cold. And every time, and I mean every time, that we wanted to check on him they took the time to talk to us. When Chester passed they sent us a card with an old picture of him that they had forever and wished him well in heaven. To this day that card is over his memorial and his ashes in our home. We now have 2 new puppies by the name of Flower and Coco. They 2 are our kids. Flower and Coco are spoiled. One is another King Charles Cavalier and the other is a 100 lb collie. And they both look forward to going to Camp once a week. All these years I have watched the camp cameras each and every time that I take them to camp. Never, and I mean never have any of our puppies, or for that matter any puppies been abused. Never been uncared for. Never gone hungry or had any injuries at all. About the biggest issue I ever had was them not being dry when I picked them up after a bath. And they fix that. I have toured the camp, I am in constant contact with the staff and never have they not done what I asked. And this is 16 years. Not 16 minutes. I have seen staff come and go like every other business. But Suzette is still there. And I will trust my puppies with her before any other place that exists in this country. The cameras can tell ladies and gentlemen. And if you have doubts call and ask. You can have a tour anytime you want. It pains and angers me that people would literally trash a place they work with misconceptions about abuse to promote their unhappiness with the job. They will probably be unhappy with any job if they are not happy around these beautiful fur animals. But the expression of mistruths to benefit themselves just puts innocent creatures that cannot defend themselves in the line of fire. And if you can use the safety and happiness of dogs, that put their trust in you every day, to whine about having to work, what else can you do. Sorry for being long winded but this place is near and dear to me. I just could not stand by and let someone, or some people speak for Chester, Flower and Coco. Took samson to other daycares and I love how this place has two cameras in their play area! Staff was super friendly! Love the shuttle! Prices are great! I love that they make sure your pet is safe to go to daycare with the interview packet for your dogs needs! I recommend! He was so sleepy after playing with the other pups for a few hours in the car ride ❤️

In the past whenever our dogs came back from being boarded, for a couple of days they smelled funny and showed us that they did not like being away from us. If you ever boarded your dog, you know how they show their dissatisfaction.But all three of our fur babies stayed at this doggy camp in Lafayette while we were out of town. We loved the fact the camp had a camera that we could watch them on our phone, playing with other dogs while they were monitored by the camp staff. They were well taking care of and looked happy. When we picked up the dogs, we met the owner, every member from the front desk up to the owner were super nice and caring.When dogs came home, they were clean and looked like they enjoyed their time there and were not upset with us.We highly recommend this place and we will be back.

I love this place! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The facility is really clean and you can view the live web cams to see all the dogs socializing. My blue heeler puppy comes home happy and exhausted! Training sessions are great and include a progress report. Highly recommend! Thanks Camp Bow Wow!

Roxy had her interview day yesterday and she had a blast! We were a little nervous being that this was our first time leaving Roxy but the staff was friendly and were more than happy to give us a quick tour of the facility. They have a live web cam and are very organized as well. Totally recommend them for your little loved ones to stay.

I can’t say enough good things about Camp Bow Wow!My dog Gracie is 7 and has been going to camp for seven years and was trained there to become a certified therapy dog. Gracie can’t wait to get in the door to go play with the other campers !We have always had a positive experience . I did try another place but Gracie was reluctant to go in the door. The grooming staff has always followed my instructions and if there was ever a question they would call several times if needed to get the job done exactly like I wanted it.I also board Gracie when we leave town and they have great weekend hours for convenient pick up!Suzette is as kindhearted as they come and is a big advocate for the underdogs!! I love Camp Bow Wow and highly recommend it!

I have used camp Bow Bow for my dogs for vacation and was very pleased with the service and personal care of my fur babies. When Suzette the owner of Camp Bow Bow found out that our four year old Yorkie (Zola) was stolen, she used her camp advertising billboard (which rotated around Lafayette) with my dog’s photo, also used radio ads in order to get the word out to help with our search, all at her own expense. She did all of this just out of the goodness of her heart. We will never forget the generosity, the love ,and the compassion she showed our family during this very difficult time. She is one of the most caring and compassionate and generous persons I know.

My dogs have never been to a day camp or boarded. We took them in for an interview today and they honestly suprised me. We had taken them somewhere else last Saturday and had a lot of hesitation about leaving them there. We have been watching the cameras at both locations for the last week. Camp Bow Wow slowly introduced others to my dogs and didn't overwhelm them. Every single time I looked at the cameras there was someone in there with the dogs and actually interacting with them. That's a lot more than I can say about the other place. My bigger dog stayed tucked away in the corner at the other place. She was playing and tail wagging here. It also gives me piece of mind knowing how secure the area is. It is going to be hard to leave them for 7 days but I honestly think they will be very well taken care of! Mya and Baylee loved it!

Lola successfully passed her camper interview with Camp Bow Wow! She had a wonderful time meeting the staff and especially making new friends. The facility is clean and nicely kept with cameras available on the playgrounds to see your pup while you’re away. They offer many services and enrichment programs for their campers too. The staff is amazing and sincerely seem to love their job. I’m excited to have found a great place for my girl!

Brought in my 2 1/2 month old puppy for an interview and was very satisfied from the customer service to getting to watch my puppy on camera via the app. He got to make new friends and get a chance to be around other dogs. They also made this adorable certificate for him. Pricing for services is also very reasonable. Will definitely be allowing my puppy to go here regularly.Not to mention, I went to a Halloween event in a city near by (New Iberia) and Camp Bow Wow had a tent set up, the workers there were incredible and outstanding- they had no clue who my pup was being that I brought him to the Lafayette location- I say this to say that they seem to be an outstanding company all around and at all locations. Definitely trusting.

My dog really enjoyed his interview. I thought he would show some anxiety at being separated from me, but once he was with the other dogs, it's as though he said, "Mommy who?" When we picked him up, he was tired, but relaxed. I'll definitely be bringing him back as often as I can.

Clean environment, the staff was super kind. The kids loved looking for our dog on the camera. The manager (or owner) was super friendly when I asked if I could pick up my dog 5 minutes past closing. They even gave him a bath even though they were closed already. Will definitely bring my dog back

Avoid this place. I took my dog here once and thought he had a great time, but when I tried to bring him back he quickly got anxious and was freaking out. After the whistleblower former employee came forward with accusations, it all just makes sense now. The owners run an incredibly understaffed business (they should be turning down dogs when they hit capacity, not trying to squeeze more money) and don't care about the wellbeing of your dogs. It is also so obvious that they are buying positive reviews now (most of the recent 5 star reviews aren't from people in the local area). Avoid

This will be the 5th or 6th time we have used Camp Bow Wow and it’s always a great experience; the girls inside are amazing. The only suggestion I have is there’s no signs on Pinhook or even the little road after you turn to get back to the camp. I would suggest putting a couple signs on the poles for your customers; something simple like “Camp Bow Wow” a picture of a dog would be efficient. We missed our turn twice even using the GPS 🤣 love the idea for the camper report card that’s the best reading how your dogs experience at camp was 😬

I dropped my dogs off for the first time this week for camp while I was working longer than normal. Booking their stay was very easy and they even offered the first day for free!! I also LOVED all the extra services they offer and being able to watch them on the camper cams on the app. Another thing I liked is that they sort the dogs by size, so I didn’t have to worry about them getting hurt by a bigger dog. We will definitely be back since they seemed to enjoy themselves at camp!

Beaux had his interview about a week ago and we are bringing him back to Camp Bow Wow to board over the weekend while we go out of town! He really loved it and came back worn out and happy! The staff was really accommodating and answered all of my questions. I also loved that I could check in on him on the doggy cams they have set up throughout the facility.

My dogs love this place. They get so excited when they hear they are going to camp to play with other pups! The staff is very friendly and you can tell they enjoy their jobs. We boarded our pups during the holidays and they were well taken care of. I especially liked being able to watch them 24/7 with the pup cams. The cabins were cozy and we were able to bring their beds/comforts from home making it an easy transition for them. I was worried since it was the first time boarding them but they had a wonderful time.
