I love Bark Avenue. When I leave my pup there, I feel that he is taken care of. I’m never nervous that he is being mistreated. Every one of the staff members are kind and professional. I definitely recommend Bark Avenue to everyone.

I was told last week that my dog wouldn’t be able to come back because his anxiety during his appointment unless he was on medication. Seemed a lil weird because this is a boutique salon which usually gives your dog that extra time and care that chain places like Petco can’t. Which is also weird because petco groomed him with no complaints. I had reached out for the owner to call me twice before that to talk about what would make the experience better and hadn’t gotten a call back.

It was my little buddy's first grooming and Bark Avenue did a fantastic job making him comfortable while getting him looking his best! So grateful to have a place to bring him where he comes home relaxed and happy!!!

Took my Australian Shepard and retriever mix there for full grooms for the first time. They did a fantastic job on my dogs. They smell and look amazing and seemed comfortable at pick up. Mu Aussie doesn't do well with other dogs so I was nervous to bring him to a traditional grooming salon, but Bark Avenue accommodated for us and made sure he was not around other pups. It had been a long time since my Aussie's last groom so we had quite a bit of impacted hair and some matting and somehow they were able to get it all out and hide any areas where matting did need to be cut out. I felt the pricing was extremely reasonable for the quality of groom received. We will definitely be back! :)

Heard nothing but amazing things about Bark Avenue. We enjoyed our first visit. The set up of the shop is amazing! Our boxer isn't too social and he worries me around other dogs but the ways it's set up all dogs are seperated at all times. The employees are awesome and truly enjoy their jobs. We brought them in for shampoo/condition and deshedding. I brushed them when we got home as I found they were still shedding quite a bit which had me slightly worried if they truly brushed them not sure if they used deshedding shampoo possibly, our boxer had the most fur leftover. Upon brushing our german shepard mix I knew they took a lot off of him as their was very little coming off in the brush. Our pups will most definitely be back for another visit. They smell increible, their coats are soft and I'm happy with the extras they throw in like triming their nails and the adorable bandanas.

Do not bring your fur babies here. The staff is rude and extremely hostile. Also, if you read the reviews on this place you’ll see. My husband booked this place and based on what I’m now seeing all over social media, bark avenue is at it again! PATHETIC

Absolutely perfect! I can't praise this salon highly enough!Everything is immaculate, the grooming stations and pet waiting areas are in open view, and the atmosphere itself (in my opinion), is completely different from other area groomers.The entire environment is calm and serene, and the dogs being groomed look completely relaxed and stress-free. I find that the prices are comparable to those charged by other area groomers, and the staff are friendly and cheerful, and they appear to truly enjoy their jobs.I love that everything is out in the open, and that I don't have to worry about waves of frantic, panicked barking coming from a back room. I wish I had found this salon years ago, but my five dogs will only be getting groomed here from now on.Highly, highly recommended!!

These people were great. From the stupid questions I had, to the VERY quick appointment we got, to the quick responses to facebook messages. They were great with Duke as he was a bit afraid at first. I and Duke can't wait to go back.Duke said -You can't even hear me walk on the wood floor now.

My girlfriend was referred to this place by a coworker and the first visit was amazing. Staff was great and the dog was excited about his first grooming. The second visit was not so great. When dropped off I was clear about a full groom with the hair around the head left a bit longer. When my girlfriend picked him up it looked like nothing was done so they agreed to take him back the next day and finish the job at no charge. Sounds awesome right. The next day after the full grooming, my girlfriend picked up her dog only to be given her dog back with no collar or leash. Eventually they got his collar and leash but as my girlfriend got back in the car and the dog shook himself, the entire car was covered in hair. The dog was never blown off. It seemed like they were mad from not doing what was originally supposed to be done, and then when they went to honor their mistake they weren't happy about doing it even though they admitted that they made the mistake. Dog looks great but will not be returning there again.

We've gotten our dog groomed here a handfull of times. Each time something has happened, from grey marks on her coat, to her collar being lost, to her dew claw coming off, to yellow marks on her coat. I'm not sure what happened this past time, but we paid 100 dollars for her to smell again within days. The returned business was due to the discounted prices due to this businesses acknowledged mistakes, which were commendable actions... But 100 is a bit much to be less than satisfied and uncomfortable weeks later due to an injured dew claw.Thanks for the experience though.As an edit to this review... It's very unfortunate that the extensive notes about her needing training or medication was never made clear to us. That would have been fantastic information to know that she was that scared at your facility and needed additional assistance. We were told the dew claw fell off coincidentally, it seems now it was ripped off because she was afraid of the bath, that is also very valuable clarification. We were assured during the first visit that anxious dogs, and specifically, huskies were a specialty, and that she was in good hands.Luckily her new groomers are well equipped to handle her. Again, thank you for the experience, and the very delayed feedback.

My dog loves going to Bark Avenue. When we turn off of Pinhook on to South College she knows where we’re going and starts whining in anticipation. They do a fabulous job! She looks like a little princess when I pick her up. Highly recommend.

I had used the same grooming service for well over 10-years. I loved them. They knew my dogs and they were more than personal with their service. They closed so I went looking for a new groomer.The first, highly recommended groomer was close to my home but my pets were obviously not happy, they often had “shave burns” and even had wounds from being cut during the grooming process. The owner was nice but I found the groomers to be unprofessional.Then I found Bark Avenue. They were recommended by the lady who trained my youngest dog. We have now been going to Bark Avenue for about 8 months.The most important thing is my pups are happy when I pick them up. They always prance out with a smile on their little faces after a day of obvious pampering. They always look amazingly gorgeous and they are soft and smell fantastic.I wish I could afford to take them more often. I will say that even going once a month is expensive, but they get pampered and look amazing. I clean my dogs weekly between visits but I can’t get them to look anything like Bark Avenue.They will have us as clients as long as my fur family continues to come out with a beautiful happy smile on their faces!!!

I don’t normally put out public reviews but I cannot recommend this facility in good conscience. A family member recommended this place for our dog to be groomed. After our encounter and reading a few other reviews, we will not be bringing our dog anywhere near here. We were pressured into paying for a service we did not ask for with little communication in between, our dog was locked in a crate for several hours only to be soaked in urine when we finally arrived to get her. When we brought up our concerns in the store, we were immediately shut down. Extremely unprofessional and discomforting. There’s much more I would like to say but I’ll go ahead and spare everyone’s time, including my own. If you truly care about your pets and value your peace of mind, do not bring them to this facility.

I have been a client with Bark Avenue for roughly three years now and they always do a wonderful job on my fur child. I absolutely love the bandanas they put on my dog after every visit. Great on prices compared to plenty of other places and great service. They also let me know if they had any issues during the visit (I.e., clipping the quick by accident).

I am very disappointed with the last grooming of my dog. They completely shaved my puppy without notifying me ahead of time.Updated :He was never told that our dog will be “completely” shaved. Do not presume that the pet is groomed every 3-4 months without knowing the facts (you are not the only pet groomer in town)

I brought my two yorkie puppies there this week and I was extremely pleased with the grooming. Also I felt very comfortable leaving them with the staff. Based on passed experiences it was very important for me to feel like they would be taken care of. I will continue to bring them here. Very pleasant staff members.

We LOVE The Bark Avenue. We have a Pomeranian and have taken her to numerous grooming salons before finding this one, and always ended up so disappointed with the outcome of her grooming. The Bark Avenue staff provide us with superb customer service at every visit, and our pet always looks FABULOUS after her grooming. The facility is always CLEAN, and the workers are very knowledgeable and gentle with the animals. We highly recommend this business for all of your pet grooming needs!

Bark Avenue did a fantastic job grooming my Australian Shepherd. They took their time and worked at his pace to ensure a positive experience for him. He came home in a good mood and his coat is beautiful, shiny, and shed free.The "full groom" had all the services I could possibly want, including a shed treatment as soon as I mentioned I have an Aussie. It was so nice to go to a groomer who didn't try and nickel and dime me or hassle me with unnecessary up sells.The friendly staff made me feel comfortable dropping my dog off to be groomed. The facility is very clean (no wet dog smell!) and open (no dogs left to dry who knows where in the back).I'm very happy with Bark Avenue and will definitely be going back!

First class service, facility, and results!Shout out to Ashley who graciously accommodated me and my dog, Luc, when we were in a BIG pinch. I was in town for my father’s funeral – he had recently and unexpectedly passed away, and Luc desperately needed a bath and cut. It was one of those “the kindness of strangers” encounters that I will never forget and will always be grateful for.Oh, and Luc looks great! He’s about to turn 4, and it’s the best cut he’s ever had, straight up. Thank you, Ashley, and Bark Avenue!

We drive more than two hours to get there because I thought that place will be different. I was planning to take a pictures of my poppies in that place and have a very good experience. But this is happened, we get there and the person to talked to me said we had no appointment booked. I called a week before to get appointment because is a long drive for us. The person to talked to us I think is the owner, she talk rude and said she can do a partial haircut because is the first time that my poppies will get a haircut and the are not use to also the price was so expensive for a partial haircut. I was planning to get a big change on my poppies and cut all baby hair if my poppies. So me and wife said No thanks and we left. I searched another place by Google and found a very good place and they took care of my poppies, we went walk in, and they took our poppies also they did a full haircut without any problems. I gave to the other dog growing place five stars but for the Bark Avenue I can not give that sorry.
