I am trying to give this office 0 stars. Not for the care my dog got but for the handling of charges and information. The receptionist is rude. Not only to me but to others. She treats patients like she is doing them a favor. Charges are a bit high but not the issue this refers to. I am referring to unnecessary treatment that was not offered as an option although it is an option. I was clearly told there would be no charge for the follow up visit. Well they did charge 75.00 for that follow up. I was not told I had the option not to do and was told it was covered in the 750.00 charge for surgery. Sad that they do this to people. Do what is necessary, charge what you must, but quite adding in expenses that are not necessary. I think you make plenty off the procedures that are needed. Light therapy to heal an incision I have never heard of and never needed for any dog. I bred English Bulldogs for 15 years. All had C-sections. Never did one need light therapy or cone of shame. We will not be returning because of the dishonesty. I think the vet did a great job but whoever is running this office needs an attitude adjustment. Apparently I am not the only one that feels this way. Check out the other 1 star reviews.

My friend has a dog being boarded there until the 3rd of the month and so far so good it seems as though Molly is the person who everyone seems to love. She truly seems to care about the creatures and I've been told nothing but good things about their veterinarian. I'll do a better review after the 3rd.

Fast appointment setting, for a non emergency issue. The staff were so friendly and kind, even when my cat verbally threatened to take them and their extended family out if they didn't let go of her. Not sure if we fixed the issue but I will gladly go back for further treatment. Hope they have kevlar scrubs.

if it had not been for Dr. Zeller, my lil Chaa Chaa would have died at the hands of Medvet in covington (see review) This Lady is amazing and knew exactly what was wrong with my baby. She cares, understands, listens to your concerns and is overall fabulous!! My babies (5 yorkies ) will be very well taken care of from this point on . Trust Her, SHE IS AMAZING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hospital canceled my cats appointment without telling me. I made the appointment a month in advance and they wouldn't take him when I showed up after driving an hour. Thank you rebbeca for being super unprofessional as well on the phone with my girlfriend.

Nice staff, but pricing is outrageous. Almost $300 for just kitten’s first round of shots, worm treatment, & a microchip. We will be resuming care at our old vet..

Super friendly, clean, and informative. I felt safe leaving my furbabies in their care. Both my cats got fixed (1 female, 1 male) they were handled with care and they updated me about everything. Their recovery has been smooth as well. Definitely recommend this vet

I have 2 dogs that are just so horrible with getting their nails clipped, I bring em here and Melissa my girl knows just what to do!! I mainly use Dr Billy but have had the pleasure of meeting both vets!! And tbh I just love em!! My forever place for my pets!! I've never had a bad experience, with that being said I have been given the truth about my animals and in the long run they let me choose what I want done with my animals and never do I ever feel pressured!! I love these guys !! They are my forever place for my kiddos💯

Very nice and professional staff but as with all vets you go in expecting to pay $50 or not more than $100 and you get hit with almost a $300 bill! Insanity. Prices need to be posted in the lobby or once the pet is seen the doctor should write down all treatments they want to perform then give it to the receptionist to put prices next to each one to show the owner so we can decide what we can or cannot pay for. I'm so tired of vets spending my money for me. Also, another clinic where they take your animal to the back without you so you have no way of knowing if your pet received any service or meds only their word. I don't like that. I should be to see and know in advance what I'm paying for.

Such an amazing staff that truly care about the well being of your beloved pet(s), including one awesome tech who is a key player in St. Tammany animal rescues. (We love Molly!!) Prices are much lower than other vets in the area and my 4 legged baby is always so excited to be there, even after being boarded there for 4 days back in March!! So grateful this vet opened up in Lacombe. 💫💫💫💫💫

Dr Zeller and the staff are kind, but they're all very sneaky about what they're going to charge you until its too late. I asked before booking an appointment how much is the check-up fee. The lady on the phone said "about $45". I booked, showed up to my appointment, and before seeing my cat I have to sign a form. Forms are normal, thats fine, but it asks you a bunch of questions about your social media and things that have nothing to do with your pet, and at the very bottom they have a statement that says you agree to any and all charges regardless if you're told or not. I kept that in mind, and as they were checking my cat they kept saying things like "ok, we're going to do x" or "now we're going to do y". There was no "hey, I recommend we do this and this is how much that costs, do you want to proceed?" That's what they do. They just tell you they're doing things, then they do it, then they surprise you with a bill of $300 for a "checkup". I tried my best to ask what the cost was for every single medicine they were prescribing and using, which they couldn't really answer (all I got was "its about $20" or "its like $12 probably", none of which were accurate... not even the checkup fee was accurate). What I didn't realize though, because they didn't tell me until the appointment was done and I had to pay, is that the "checkup fee" of $45 (it wasn't $45) was merely an APPOINTMENT fee, and the actual check ups that were done (so they could diagnose the poor cat) were multiple additional fees that I was not told about.Another thing I am very upset about with these vets, is that all of the things they "prescribed" my cat, all of those medicines were over-the-counter medicines that I could have gotten for MUCH cheaper online or at the pet store nearby! When I brought this up, they tried to tell me I'm not looking at the right medicine, that they have to be the ones to prescribe it and their price is correct. I was looking at the exact same brand, active ingredient, dosage, everything was the exact same down to the chemical composition of the medicine, and it was over the counter medicine available for much cheaper not even 10 minutes away from this vet.So yes, very sweet staff, but they are absolutely aware that what they're doing is wrong, and they don't care. I'll be choosing a different vet.

Dr. Zeller and her staff are the kindest, most compassionate people I have ever met. After some tests, we realized that a hard decision was going to have to be made... that I had to have my beloved Leo put down, and we were shown to a room where we could take our time to make that final decision, and say goodbye. They even waited until all family members were present (they were enroute). I love this doctor. I have another kitty that will be under Dr. Zeller's care soon! They don't just treat the pet, they are sensitive, caring and kind to the family that is going to lose a pet, as well. Thank you, Dr. Zeller and staff, for your kindness.

Incredible service. Dr. Zeller gave my potbelly a hoof trim & gave me very good care instructions for the next plan of action. I wont be going anywhere else. Very reasonable in price & I got the impression her concern is for the animals. It was like my friend came & helped my pig out. 10/10

My absolute favorite veterinarian I've ever taken my pets to visit. Dr. Zeller and her staff are attentive and communicate effectively. The way in which they provide care is solely based on the best practices and procedures for the animals they care for. All of my pets will be see here for the foreseeable future!

Dr. Billie & the crew are phenomenal! If they don't know something about your animal, they will find the answers for you. Quality service is always done with compassion & professionalism. Discounts for military, veterans, & 1st responders are something you hardly ever see in Veterinarian practices. Just goes to show how appreciative Dr. Billie & her crew are!

I had trouble giving my cats the worm medicine I bought from here so I called to ask if I can bring them there and they can give for me. I told them I can bring the cats whenever. They said it’s fine to bring them now. My cats are very sweet but just don’t take the pills easily. So I bring them, and instead of bringing them to a room, they hold my cat down on the floor in the hallway, with dogs barking at them, and traumatically give my cats the medicine. I ended up bringing the second in before I realized how horrible it was. My cats are now traumatized, I used to be able to bring them places, they will no longer go to the car because they think they are going to this hellish place. Now I don’t ever want to / nor can I bring my cats anywhere. I just tried to get them revolution flea/heartworm medicine from the Internet but this Vet refused my prescription saying I need a visit. Well guess what, I will never bring any animal here because of how my cats were treated and because of their experience here I can’t bring them anywhere anymore. The first time I came some people here seem nice, some others were not so maybe I’m the only one with a horrible experience but it was traumatic for my pets. Oh and since I bought the worm medicine from there during a visit, and this was the second dose, one person said they would give it as a courtesy, when I got there they charged me anyway.

Everyone there is so nice. The vets are amazing with the pups and do a great job explaining things. The groomers there and by far the best groomers we have ever been to. 10 out of 10 all around
