Great local hardware store. It's a small place but the employees are great. I stopped in to get 5 propane tanks filled. They got me filled out the door fast considering it was the day before Thanksgiving.

Very helpful, small town hardware store that saves me lots of trips out to the big box stores. They also carry supplies for fishing, and crabbing, including rubber boots, and hats.

If you want 1 on 1 help with something you are unsure of, this is your place. The 2 guys are very knowledgeable and kind. You don't get the kind of help like this at a big store. Things may be slightly more expensive at times, sometimes not, but I like to support our small businesses. Recommend this place especially for women that are taking on there first project because u can ask many questions. Thanks guys

As a lifetime resident of Laconbe, my family has visited the Laconbe True Value for generations. The store has been owned and operated by the Woods family for many years. Today I visited the store and the customer service was poor. The gentleman was standing in the door on his cell phone, "when he ask if he could assist me", after saying hello, I politely inquired about pole brackets". He proceeded with you need to provide more information. I went to my car to retrieve my phone to show him a picture on the True Value website. When I informed him it was the store website he says you can go on Walmart website very sarcastically.He walks aroud severnal isles and comments, I don't recall ever seeing those. The gentleman left me standing there and proceeded to go assist another customer. I hope the Woods are still not the owner of Laconbe True Value because I would hate that the generation of support from the families of Laconbe has amounted to a unfriendly and unwelcoming business. It doesn't hurt anyone to be generous to the public. I work with some of most vulnerable people everyday "Veterans" and the public through the pandemic. I still had t o havea positive attitude. It doesn't cost a thing to be kind.

I really like this place. The folks that work here are always helpful and friendly. They don't always have what I need, but when they do, I'm always grateful to save a trip to the big box store.

We didn't go to True value hardwaye. We stopped across thevstredt at the new Sunny Times gas station. There empmoyees were super nice and their prices were quite reasonable. They will have hot food in a few weeks but their pizza welkby nextweek
