When you walk in it's very small and kinda awkward, but there's a whole other room in the back. It's a very nice bar atmosphere. We were just passing through on our way back from New Orleans and stopped for lunch. I had the buffet, which was fine. My BF had the fried ravioli with some kind of sauce. He really like the flavor of the sauce.

Another overpriced restaurant. Some of the food is good, though I think they specialize in mainly their fried platters.. steaks are overpriced and not that great. Things like ettoufe and pasta are not that great. I wouldn't get their poboys. The bread is always hard. They do have hamburger steak meal and chicken fried steak meal that's pretty good and reasonable. their chicken wings with lock n load sauce is really good but pricey.. good service friendly environment.Vegetarian options: They will fix you just veggies if you ask. It's not a vegetarian restaurant

The waiters were very nice, per usual in Louisiana, but I gotta say the cups had too much ice making refills more often than I'd like. Busy day, and I think one of the waiters was new to the job because she dropped a few things but was quick to clean up, so that's fine. The restaurant had a very happy, fun, and interesting atmosphere with some hunting decorations all around. The food was great, I got a club sandwich with side of onion rings, and everything was great. Just some of the rings were really, really thick, which some people wouldn't like, but I was fine with it.

The A/C was broken, is what we were told. The food is pretty good but pricey for what you get. I had the seafood buffet; most everything was very good. I asked for red sauce for the boiled shrimp, and it was like frozen in little to-go type cups and seemed different than what I'm used to having. All in all, it's okay, but I'm ordering off the menu next time.

We spent the day in St. Francisville, so on our way back, decided to stop here for dinner with our kids. Besides the boss man starting some drama with the waitress so her attitude turned sour for a moment but not towards us. She came over and explained herself and said he's always giving them a hard time, which sucks because we thought wait staff was great, and had wonderful personalities.

We stopped in on our way back to Dallas and we were very happy with everything. The food was delicious, the onion rings were homemade and crunchy… SO GOOD! The ladies working there were very friendly. We don’t live close but if we did, we would definitely return 🙂P.S…. The pudding cake was the best! Great job ladies!

We were on a girls road trip (with 3 kids under the age of 6) and had been on the road for a very long time, so as you can imagine by time we decided to pull off and get dinner the kids were tired and feed up with our little road trip adventure. The restaurant welcomed us and the crying kids with a smile on their faces! The food was absolutely delicious and in all honesty the best we had on our entire trip! The restaurant is very clean and the service was quick. I highly recommend this restaurant especially for families that are passing through. The kids loved the chicken tenders and I got a taco salad that was amazing and they even had vegetarian options for my friend. Great family restaurant! Also our waitress zoey was the sweetest girl and great with the kids!

The place itself was pretty unique and nice. The waitress was ok, she wasn't exactly tentative and there was only one other table in there at the time. The food was really good. Tasted home-cooked. You definitely get a full size plate. Amazing food. So amazing I bit my own finger. Don't waste your time going anywhere else, just go there. Everything in the menu is delicious. The food is so cheap, I guess they are living in medieval time. Next trip definitely going here. One more thing don't worry about outside looks of restaurant, inside beautiful and friendly staff. This restaurant is good friend and family. I can't wait to come back here.

My wife and I purposed to eat here again, because we remembered our experience a year prior. Home Cooking is what comes to mind....The buffet had a good variety of of food and desserts. The staff was attentive and cordial. We will be sure to stop by again next time we are through Krotz Springs.

We hit the buffet Sunday only because there was a traffic jam on I-10. The fried catfish and fried chicken were excellent! Staff was courteous and friendly. So good, we would take a detour just to go back.

Good atmosphere. Great food. A little pricy but overall a great place to sit with family and friends to enjoy a good ole southern meal. Lots of food options. The lock and load is my personal favorite. Also the manager is amazing and will accommodate you as much as could be asked for within reason of course.

Fantastic shrimp po-boy and chicken fingers also. I've been here twice now in my travels, and I really enjoyed it both times. Reasonable prices, great portions, and a very homey atmosphere. I talked to a guy in the restaurant named Tommy who told me all of the mounts they have in the restaurant were locally taken, which as a hunter I found to be pretty cool. I recommend it!

I have stopped and eat n there numerous times before, but today I went in hungry. I got my favorite, the Browning Gold, shrimp in a creamy white sauce onside a French bread loaf. It was as good today as it’s been in the past! Very rich and very delicious!

Nice little sports bar and grill. I had a seafood poh boy, quite tasty. Tried the Alligator bites for appetizer, wasn't impressed. More of a hush puppy I thought. Staff is friendly and on a mission to please. I would go back!

White Tails is my go-to spot in Krotz Springs — largely because it is *the* spot in Krotz Springs. The staff are friendly, the cuisine is best described as “Louisiana comfort food,” and the atmosphere is unmistakably Krotz Springs. I recommend the Ken’s Healthy veggie dish if you’re looking to stay on the healthier side of tasty.

You won't regret stopping in jf you happen to be going down 190. Try the onion rings and corn nuggets for an appetizer! Both great

Have nothing bad to say. It was a small quiet place. Wait staff was friendly and prompt. I had the buffet and everything,I ate was very good. My date had a burger that she throughly enjoyed. Price was not bad for the quality, quantity, and service given.

The Ribeye was cooked M-Rare on the spot, and I substituted the veggies for mashed potatoes with cream gravy, jalapeños, and toast bread with butter! No complaints or attitudes from the waitress, who fought for everything I requested from beginning to end. I'm a handful in a restaurant and she satisfied every request, with the exception of Ice Cream with chocolate syrup, nuts, whipped cream and a cherry! But hey... such is life! Lol* A very inspiring moment came when she notified me of her having to Leave the Restaurant for a few minutes, which was fine cause I had my hands full. Come to find out, she went to the store right quick and then back... to grab some washing powder?! Hmmm... Okay, so this little hustling lady had taken on a respectful side hustle to assist a few turnaround hands with their landry, since Kritz Springs doesn't have such services for folks in from out of town to work weeks on end. I admired Hannuah for her Will... which is hard to find these days in real life, much less on social media or news sites! I'm not sure that White Tails ownership or management appreciated her leaving for 5 minutes, but... I trust they'll give grace and support instead of employment release. Life's to short and times are just to "different" and tough for these youngins trying to work 2 & 3 jobs to make end meet.I'll be back to White Tails... and I hope to find Hannah there working with the cordial smile and energy that helped make my experience worth texting about!Blessings,MD

Friendly dedicated staff, big portions, excellent quality, with an atmosphere that is inviting and homie. Great place to take the kids. But on the other hand they do have a bar and poker machines on one side so bring the husband too! Also accommodate veggitarians and various diets
