I have been looking for Steel Reserve Spiked Tangerine for 6 months and Billy’s had 9 of them. I was on my way home to San Antonio and we got detoured off of 10. What great luck, Hail Satan! They have reportedly put the Tangerines on winter hiatus, but Billy’s really came through! Can I get a thank you Angel of Light for delivering me to that spot? I’ll definitely detour north from Lafayette to visit again!

I can only assume it's a good place because the line to get some food wrapped around from quite some distance. We're from out of town and didn't have time to stay. Boudin balls seemed to be a hit.

I ordered a garden salad and my wife got a grilled cheese sandwich. The sandwich was as it should be but the garden salad was more than bad. It consisted of only old brown edged wilted lettuce and a few grape tomatoes. This is not acceptable.

Very disappointed in my visit today. I was driving through on my way home and stopped. I ordered 6 Pepper-jack Boudin Balls, received them, and drove the hour and a half drive home. I was so excited to surprise my husband, only to find out I received 6 REGULAR boudin balls, with no signs of pepper-Jack. my friend was with me and she also ordered pepper-Jack, but she found out that there was hardly any pepper Jack in her boudin balls as well. I know they were busy and rushed, but dang….at least get it right instead of rushing everyone’s orders. :/

My husband and I always stop here on our way to and from New Orleans. Boudin is excellent, cracklins are usually amazing (not so good today, overcooked, and over priced for what we received. Customer service is always horrible, dose not stop us from buying from them, just wish they would work on that aspect.

Used to love stopping here. They have great food but the quality of service took a HUGE nose dive after they built their new store. Most of the staff wanders behind the counters. They don't help each other fill orders. They are SLLLLLOOOOOOW. A 5 person line now takes 10-15 minutes. It ridiculous and honestly keeps me from stopping now.

HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!! DO NOT, I repeat do not get the cracklings. They were soooo bad I could not even bite into them. When I first approached the counter I told the guy I wanted to try them he asked “seasoned or salt & pepper only” I went for the seasoned. He then showed me the very small amount he scooped and threw it into the bag. It weighed at 0.15 Ibs and it came out to be $3.11. I was STUNNED but paid for it and left out! When I got to the car, looked into the bag I was so displeased. The appearance of them seemed as if they were sitting there since last week. All dried up, scaly and hard!!! I took a bite and grease immediately flew into my mouth. I almost gagged!!!! I let both my coworkers try one just to be sure I was not exaggerating just how awful they were. My Supervisor squeezed grease off the cracking into the bag and it soaked the entire front portion of the bag. I am very disappointed and if there was an option for half a star I probably wouldn’t leave that but I had to press the star just to create a review!!

BEST boudin EVER! Moved from Laffy a few years ago and had my fair share of good boudin...but Billy’s is the Mac-Daddy of them all! Will be stopping or having some shipped! Nice people too!

Super great food and pretty inexpensive. The cajun fries were delicious. It was a bit tricky to find, just a little hole in the wall next to a gas station but was so glad we stumbled across it.

If you're heading down 190, Billy's is a great place to stop for some boudin and cracklins. Their cracklins are my favorite and their boudin is pretty good as well. The only downside is that there is almost always a line out the door. Last time I was here, I waited 30 minutes. If you haven't had boudin before, give it a shot. Cracklins are basically pork rinds with skin, meat, and fat and are delicious.

Four stars for the crawfish ball and cracklin's. These are SO good, that Billie's is building a new and bigger diner, just next door to the gas station. Others posts about a long check-out line are right; my truck sat at the gas pump for 20 minutes, as I waited to pay for fuel. As I was waiting to pay for the gasoline, I discovered the reason was the great tasting food.

Fantastic cracklins and boudin! They Crawfish Pie is the best in all of Louisiana. They have room to park a big truck off the shoulder just inches passed the driveway. It's rough but go get you some cajun food!

Took a fishing trip out there and stopped over at Billys the staff were very welcoming but honestly the food was awful. Not good at all.

I had to wait for 20 SANDWICHES IN FRONT OF ME so I never got my food and we got our money back and they made us pay 50cents just for 1 sip of sweet tea like seriously I’m never going there ever again horrible and not cozy and not for kids at all. NEVER GO TO LOUISIANAS BILLYS DINNER
