Market Basket is our small and only home town store. Their remodeled store is really nice, a great improvement. Their prices are high but being in a small town, it's expected with no competition. The selection is pretty good, better than it used to be, and they do appear to be better stoked. They have sales and offer specials, including 'Meal Deals', a boxed meal with all components to create a family meal. I've always been curious about those meals but never tried one... until this week. The meal deal was a spaghetti dinner and it had everything needed but the pound of ground meat was spoiled. Needless to say I am very disappointed.

Wonderful love Ms Agnes very sweet person and loves to talk and knows all my family. The store is so ice and neat and clean now after the renovations, but I hate to say this but the bakery is still having problems keeping cakes fresh and delicious

Why is it that y’all constantly have moldy or expired food!? Almost every time i go to the store I either see a moldy pie or my lettuce goes bad the next day or I missed that a item I bought expired TWO WEEKS AGO! Shame on me for not checking but if I worry I need to check all of the time that’s a store problem. Y’all are literally the only store I’ve ever been to that constantly has this problem. Even when family or friends visit THEY know they need to check y’all’s food. I mean for the prices y’all have y’all need to do better because I’m not rich enough to be throwing food away the day after I bought it. Like what is going on? When trucks of produce come in do y’all let it get hot before putting it in the coolers? And really y’all only truly need to be checking dates on dairy, in home baked goods, and produce but y’all obviously are not. I guess I’m going to have to gather stuff in the store and let it be known when something’s expired every time I’m there. Any customers reading this make sure to check for mold and dates on your perishables!!

A small town grocery store with small town prices. Everything is expensive in my opinion. The only option is to drive several miles to a larger town with better prices.They do have everything you will need to fill the cupboards.My contact in the deli was less than desirable. I asked a question about the plate lunch options and got a mumbled response that wasn't inviting.Past experience at this location were very good.I will return when in the area only because it is the only grocery store for several miles.

Market Basket is a great place to do your grocery shopping. The prices are low, the selection is wide, and the customer service is excellent. I would definitely recommend Market Basket to anyone looking for a great grocery store.

Got my groom's cake for my wedding from here. It was gonna be pretty particular so I was concerned it wouldn't be right but they absolutely nailed it. 10/10 for the bakery. Friendly staff and all your grocery needs without having to drive to a Wal-Mart or such. A pretty good meat market and fantastic deli.

Can't leave your buggy parked out of the way of other customers while in the store... They will try and put their stuff in it when you are just grabbing something 10 feet away!!!

It has come a long way in the last five or so years, it's more like a Winn Dixie than a run- down, old store. The cashiers are friendly, the store seems to be very clean, and it smells nice. It's a great store for Kinder and lots of surrounding towns. I just wish there was more competition. Maybe the town council knows best.

Love the store and people. Very friendly and helpful. Only complaint is they don't always keep shelves full. Taking covid into consideration though and I'm,sure that has not helped at all. But overall I love doing my grocery shopping here

The service is very poor. My family and I drove 4 hours just to shop here. The store opens at 7:00 am. When we arrived at 7:00 am we were excited to try the hot boudin. We waited for two hours and finally had to leave without tasting it. We will not be back at this location.

BEST Smoked Sausage, Tasso, deli, everything! No comparison. I have been eating food from here for 20 years and nothing will ever change. Market basket kinder is an iconic symbol that all other groceries stores only dream to be.

It's a decent place. Nice selection of local meats and general food supplies. It's not a mega store by any means, no sushi or specially stations like Kroger's, but good enough for a small town and they do have excellent plate lunches and stuff if you want an authentic tasting home cooked meal around lunch.

Good friendly people, and pretty good selection. Their produce manager is EXTREMELY helpful, and got us an item we were wanting (Kim-Chi) within a week of us asking if they carried it, before we even moved to town!Their one and only downfall I've seen, is them not properly obtaining stock. While I'm told they keep ordering certain items, such as their aloe juice, they claim their supplier keeps not sending it. While this is a "supplier issue", a store usually has an option to buckle down: Especially when it's an item in high demand!

I gotta give Market Bucket 4 stars because they have a friendly staff, fresh veggies, organized shelves, good hot boudin, and it's usually nice and clean. The prices are steep on most produces but it's convenient if you live in Kinder.

Cashiers and managers are friendly and helpful and the store has a good selection of food and various other items. I like the way Market Basket packages their meat and their sausage is pretty good too. The Market Basket rewards card is handy and helps save you money. This card also gives you rewards points.

Nice grocery,was SUPER BUSY, because of a local Hurricane tearing up neighboring towns leaving those,areas with out power. Not sure what a "normal" shopping traffic day would be here but ppl seemed to be finding what they wanted. Lots of checkouts to accommodate the over load of shoppers so they must have a pretty on top of things Manager.

Extremely rude employees all the way to the manager. Waited in a long line to get a bag of ice, when I went to get it they where out. Went to customer service to get a refund. I was told that the manager had to sign it. I went and got the signature, went back to the service desk was told to go back to the same register for my refund. I was then told by the manager I had to go to the back of a very long line to wait for a refund on a bag of ice, after I had bought a hundred and thirty dollars in grocery. NEVER AGAIN!
