Mediocre. Always hot and the manager of the store had terrible body odor. It was obvious he had no deodorant on. Oakdale has the worst dollar general store.

I like my dollar stores but they could be cleaner, better stocked and constantly have to go find a cashier. Hardly ever is there anyone at the register and sometimes have stood there waiting 10minutes. I have watched many people get aggravated and just leave. They definitely need to improve that

I am leaving the store right now. I asked for a price check on an item and the worker rolled his eyes at me. I find that to be very rude.. middle aged bald guy. Simply put my buggy back and going shop elsewhere.

This used to be a good place to shop. However, over the past two years, it's gone downhill. Employee usually at the register seems to not want to deal with people, and items are often not properly stocked. When it's not stocked properly, and you show them, they still don't match the price.

Was extremely happy with this Dollar General. Other than the slight disorganization. But hey, it's a dollar store. But my last visit, the I'm guessing manager on duty was extremely rude while explaining why she couldn't make change for a $100 bill. After she explained, she finished with 'if you don't like it, you can go somewhere else.'. Just simply wanted to know why a store wouldn't be able to make change.

It's pretty nice for a Dollar General. It's not all cluttered up like I've seen some other ones. Reasonably well stocked and friendly cashiers. Nothing special, but not bad either.

I met an amazing employee today by the name of Chantel. She provided EXCELLENT customer service. Actually she provided help for me that was not in her job description. My feet were hurting so bad and i needed to take my boots off. She helped me change out of my boots into some comfy sandals. I will forever remember her kindness. Thank you Chantel😊

New store and good selection of merchandise. Only thing is I have gone twice in the month of September 2019 and they were closed during the day. Called the corporate office and they had no record of why it was closed. District manager never called me back. Other than that it seems to be ok.

keondra (not sure if I spelt her name correctly) went above and beyond providing assistance for me in locating my cleaning supplies! She deserves a promotion and a raise. A couple different times I’ve came in and MANAGERS/SUPERVISORS didn’t even want to be bothered with helping or general questions!!! Someone needs to monitor this store and their upper management BIG TIME

First time to visit that store, clean , lots of items, great cooler section , friendly staff, one register was down and employee was on phone trying to get working again, but some folks in line was having a meltdown and the staff handled it with respect an a great deal of composure, I personally wouldn't have for sure, but they did an awesome job

The staff there was very welcoming and helpful especially the night assistant manager she was super nice to my two little girls which weren't in the best of mood until we went to check out and the assistant manager completely turned their frown upside down and made their/our night way better

Always boxes in the isle's. You have to move those big heavy carts to get to items on shelves. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

A lot of places are out of a lot of items (due to Hurricane Laura) but this Dollar store had everything I needed, including cold items. It was much appreciated during this time. Thanks!

Very nice store had major discounts on items even when I went to the register additional discounts. I got my Grandma some cute pajamas for cheap.

Great employees but for some reason the store seems to be in a perpetual state of reorganization so you need to ask if you need help finding something.

The associates are super friendly and helpful. For the most part the store is clean, organized, and has a wide variety of items.

I get almost all that i need at this place now. They have just about anything except fresh produce. They even sell beer in these stores now.

I only come here for Couponing, but the store is always a disaster. Shelves are always empty or blocked with carts full of stuff that never seems to be put away.

It's a new dollar store in kinder Louisiana and the store is very nice and the people that work there are very helpful and super nice every time I go in the store !!!

Totally trashed. No where to walk and bins and rolling carts are everywhere. Accidents waiting to happen. Manager is rude and lazy!!!!
