Its been a long time since I've visited a Winn Dixie. In fact, I wasn't even sure this chain still existed. How I miss my local Breaux Bridge Winn Dixie—only, it wasn't this great! My husband and I went on a late nite ice cream run. Winn Dixie is right down the road from our hotel. And, wow! We were both impressed. Friendly, helpful staff. Super clean! The bakery department is fabulous...so many lovely desserts. This store also has an amazing deli. The jambalaya and flavored wings were delicious. The macaroni and cheese looked good, as did most everything. Or, maybe I was hungry. Either way, I thought this store deserved five stars. This is how grocery stores should be. Found our ice cream...and so much more.Oh, yeah! I forgot...the deli offers sushi spring rolls. Was going to get some last night but changed my mind. After reviewing, I do think I'm headed to Winn Dixie for those yummy-lookin spring rolls. Yep!**Ok...I went back for sping rolls. Great selection. I didn't like the batter on the shrimp inside the roll. That said, everything else was tasty and fresh. I'll be back for another option. Perhaps the Chef's Special.

Their prices are higher on many items. But! Their sales and selection are hard to beat. They are well stocked and move items long before the sell date with exceptional sales. They have the deliveries, stock, stocker's and consistent sale item locations down to a science. Very clean, very friendly. Except during the last 15 to 30 minutes before close. They expect to leave at 10. After 9:45pm don't go if you need more than 1 quick item.Daytime is more crowded, there aren't usually any stock pallets in the way, tg.Hands down the best grocery shopping choice.

The manager is great and the selection is better than most locations. We got a lot of picnic food and adult beverages for a family of 4 and it cost only $40

Even though they didn't have helium for balloons or the staff there to assist me, the staff mbr on self check out was MORE THAN HELPFUL and PLEASANT (in that cold doorway). I love that location almost as much as I LOVE THE WINN DIXIE NEAR MY HOME

I have been going to this grocery store for 10 years now and I have seen the steady decline in quality! I’ve been accosted and harassed by the cashiers and the managers for simply asking for them to fulfill the prices that they labeled for the pigs feet. I’ve also noticed apple cores and animal bones all over the store! At what point will this store be considered a biohazard?! I just hope they improve the quality.

I think Winn-Dixie is a wonderful place to shop it's always nice and clean the shelves are always full price is might be a little high sometimes but other than that it's okay.

The roaches in here are disgusting. The fat manager with the glasses with brown hair has putrid breath. They sold me moldy ground meat and i couldnt make the hamburger helper for my 5 babies

Never had a problem. Store is clean and pretty well stocked. I mostly use the Pharmacy and have to say it is the best Pharmacy that I have ever used. Great prices and good people. I do pick up some food items when I do go though. If it was closer to where I live I would be there more often.

Love this winndixie friendly staff and has everything I get every week. I only wish I could remember to activate my points multiplier before I go. As I only think of it as I'm walking out with my receipt.

This is the worst Winn Dixie in the G.N.O. area I've been too. Nobody in customer service has any familiarity with what they are selling to people, or recommending, the young African American male that is on duty as manager whenever things have gone wrong, quite often in the past 2 years, doesn't care, and hangs up on you when you call to complain, or offers you to come back to get an exchange, etc. You've already been there and gotten home, you don't want to go back!!! I live right around the corner from the store, I go there often.

I regularly shop here. Tonight was my worst experience. Two coupons that I was mailed didn't want to scan. They expire on December 27. The young floor manager took my coupons and 20% to 20 cents. I ended up leaving w/o anything.

The pharmacy staff, and the quality of thereservice was excellent.The store was very clean, and well organized. It was also well stocked. I was impressed with the quality of the meat, and the produce looked to be very fresh.My shopping experience at this Winn-Dixie was a very pleasant one. My regular grocery store. It's great to know the layout and where everything is located. The store is clean and employees are friendly. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars at this time is due to empty shelves and the fact that my favorite soft drink has been out of stock for weeks.

This is a clean and organized store. It had a good inventory level. I found everything I was looking for. Watch out for prices, not the least expensive in town. Plenty of parking and shopping carts.

Workers were well, I had no troubling experience there. Winn-Dixie appears to have quality products, especially their meat, however it's just very pricey over here. I wouldn't use this as a go-to-store if you're looking for a quick item that is cheap; it could be the same thing and most likely be found at dollar tree for a lesser price depending on the product.

Love this store. So glad they didn’t close with all the Economic challenges over the years, especially now with this Pandemic People need more stores in their neighborhoods.They always have great sales and the BOGO helps too. Just found the $1 shop in there also.They always have plenty of registers open. Cashiers always friendly. Clientele much better too. Wall World as I call it is a flea market atmosphere. Lower income level customer mentality. Associates not overly friendly like W DAnyways, love WD they’ve been here in Louisiana my 68 yrs that I can remember.Thanx for providing us with your service.AllyCat Liz

Waited in line for 25 minutes at customer service to return an item that was supposed to be "Buy one get one free" that rang up full price. The long wait was due to shift change I was told by an unfriendly employee after I asked why the long wait. I would expect shift change to be seemless and not 25 minutes in line. I was second in line with about 8 people behind me. At no point did any of the many employees behind the service counter reassure us they would be with us soon...until 15 minutes in I asked why no one was helping us and the reception was far from professional. It's rare I shop at Winn Dixie and it'll be a lot rarer now!!

I haven't visited Winn-Dixie since the one closest to me was bought by Rouses. I traveled to this location & was pleasantly surprise by the store condition & layout. The produce section was organized & full of fresh & ripe fruits & veggies. Will definitely return to shop again in the future.

I find what I need and everyone pleasant. I asked for help w/heavy item. A young lady came. I didn't understand why she didn't do as I asked then realized she was deaf and mute. We smiled both of us and left off very well. Next day I mentioned to Mgr customers should be made aware of these things so we can act accordingly 😉
