This is my SPOT in MY city because the food…ooh lawd, straight up NOLA 😂. You have to be from New Orleans or grew up here to understand!!! BUT lately, coming to Tastee comes with a HUGE order A-T-T-I-T-U-D-E!!!!! I’m used to my sistas having a “lil” bit of NOLAtude but this morning it was on OVERLOAD!!! I don’t know what must’ve happened but every woman working there had it but the melanemic cashier was THE worse!!! Her energy was top notch AWFUL and I hope I NEVER get her again the next time I come back to MY city. Sistas I need y’all to chill a lil bit because “it ain’t that serious”, or just quit and let somebody else get take the job who wants to be there…ijs. Management, please get on your grind and DO BETTER!!!! I love y’all though.

Awesome food however, the “young” counter staff worker (With Red Tip Dreds) has too much of an attitude to be working the counter. Counter staff are supposed to be polite to the customers! Exactly how other reviewers have said, it's worth the wait! We had shrimp and okra with fish, and it was delicious! Meatloaf and donuts were also pretty good. Definitely will be coming often.

This place is a hidden gem for people looking for authentic down south cooking. We were there for breakfast, ordered the breakfast burrito, and now that burrito is the one I will measure all other breakfast burritos against, SO good, so hearty.Now, could the counter people be a bit more friendly ? yes they could. They called our order number (crowded, chatter noise) and I couldn't hear it the first time around, approached the counter to see if what they had there sitting was our order, and I got a rather rude response. Bummer. But the food is bomb as FSorry I did not take pics of the food.

Extremely trashy run down place, but consistently pretty good donuts. King cake tasted like a big piece of bread with almost no icing, really disappointing for $22 & a trip out to Kenner.It’s good for 2 am, not much else.

🏽 This was my first trip to Louisiana and with all the food I ate this weekend, this one really hit the spot! I got the shrimp and okra over rice with 4 chicken wings(I ate one already) and it came with a free donut, I chose red velvet. It was so many options and they all looked good. I love me some okra and omg I need one of these places in TN

Just go be fat and greedy. You'll thank me later! Venture off from the classic donuts you're used to and put some stink on that thing! These were delicious! Great craft donuts! My wife isn't a donut person and she indulged and was elated behind measure. "Oh I'm gonna just try a piece of each and y'all can finish them" .....cost me a a grip to hire Ghostbusters and install interior cameras to see who was making them disappear causeci knew there had ti be a ghost and/or intrudef.. It was miss I'll just take a piece. They're that good. THIS AIN'T DUNKIN! Didn't witness service and atmosphere...my wife went in and ordered and come to think of it she had a bag separate from the box of donut goodness. She held out....til death do us but she hiding scrumptious.

Well, the girl who took my order couldn't get off her bass to look at what I'd like in the big showcase in which NOTHING was labeled.S I ordered 3 glaze whatever. Got in car and she had gave me 3 glaze blueberry that were next to the onesI wanted.Sorry Meterie if you want your business to strive pay more to get people who give a chit. Won't go back to ANY tastee ever. Just sayin.Of course I can't mention her demographic. That would be idk something stupid the government is pushing.

I will prefrence this by saying I'm from Florida visiting on a birthday trip (during mardi gras). Soon as walking in the establishment I went to the restroom and my husband went to the line to order beignets. There was an old crackhead drunk sitting in the restroom in the dark with the door cracked open with a cup in his hand. The man was angrily slurring "NOT GONNA HAPPEN, CANT PEE HERE UNLESS YOU PAY" I explained I was there for beignets but of course it didn't register to him. Nonetheless my beignets were amazing but if I wasn't from trigga city I would've been scared and ran out. That wasn't a good first encounter for any patron. If you all didn't want people to use the restroom make a sign on the door but antagonizing customers with a crack head is wild. We just wanted beignets before we got to the airport.

King Cake is 22.00. This thing is just a big plain donut , actually it's not even as good as a plain donut it's just a round piece of bread with some icing. After all these years they still have no (0) cinnamon in it. Garbage king cake. A rip off. You are better off with a dozen of donuts FOR HALF THE PRICE OF THIS BIG PLAIN PIECE OF BREAD. All this thing probably needs is some cinnamon a whole 25cents worth of cinnamon and they can't even do that. IF u want a real king cake go somewhere else.

We visited the Kenner tastee donuts. The donuts were so good. We tried a few pastries and got a mixed dozen donuts. Lots of great variety and all delicious. My recommendation is to have the pastries labeled. Lots of pointing and trying to tell them which one we wanted. Also from the outside of the glass you can’t see the donuts and it would be good to have that visible. the lady there was rude too . We were just visiting New Orleans and did not know what we wanted she made a couple of comments and seemed impatient with us. Be nice to tourist and your patrons. And buy a blind you can’t see anything with the sun beaming thru the windows.

This place has very good food, and a lot of options to say that it is a donut shop. You can go here and get everything from breakfast to dinner, and of course donuts. They have very interesting donuts, such as king cake donuts and banana pudding donuts. As far as the food, you can get things like breakfast of course, stuffed bell peppers, chicken fried steaks, red beans and rice, hamburgers and po' boys, seafood sandwiches and meals, etc. And everything is very delicious! Now the downside is, the visit can be very ratchet. Lots of youngsters come here from clubbing which to some can be perceived as an unsafe environment. And the staff can appear to be unpleasant at times. Even though I had a great experience with the staff, I believe their rough exterior presence and attitude stems from the wild crowd of youngsters, that probably come in high from drinking and drug usage, therefore the staff have to appear to be rough and tough. Other than that the food is amazing and the options are plentiful! Major kudos on the food!

Who tf DON'T like Tastee's? BEEN been my go2 for munchies, sweettoof fixes, and yes, u guessed it, Kastle Burgers from the AM TILL THE AM & everything in between. On top of kastle burgers, the hot plates they cook are banging, as well as ...I haven't had anything-EVER- that I ain't enjoy & scarf down, peep the ginormous menu online or something. I quite literally can eat here 23 hrs n 56 mins/day, Se7en days a week, fitty- well you get the idea! Oh add about 30% longer wait time amist this post COVID era, but ain't that what parkin lot pimpin's for? 💨🛸💨#sparkinpotinthaparkinlot 🤫😶‍🌫️

My philosophy is the dough makes the donuts. THAT'S what makes this Tastee so incredibly good! But do NOT think all Tastee Restaurants are the same. This is the BEST donut shop I've ever been to. Selection is the best with literally DOZENS of different donuts to choose from. My pictures do not do it justice.

Edit : Visited again 3 months later! Got the same thing as last time, a kastle burger combo with 3 sliders, drink, fries and donut. All of it was amazing and fresh. I got two additional donuts this time but haven't ate them yet. Unfortunately this time the service was lacking, everyone seemed annoyed there were customers in the restaurant. Kinda sucks but food was great.I got the burger and donut combo and everything was great! The burgers are small like white castle and it's your choice of donut minus maybe a few flavors? I can't remember but I got the banana Pudding Donut and it was amazing! I still can't stop talking about that donut. Servers were nice, prices were definitely reasonable. So many gourmet donuts, it's mind blowing. Only down point is the parking, it can be very busy around there on the weekend. Hoping to visit again soon!

The menu options are great! The donuts are fresh and made daily. I have never had a bad experience at this location. I would recommend this location for dinner and sweets. The prices have increased if you used a credit card for purchase.

The person who took my order was completely unprofessional. The food was absolutely disgusting ….. I order the Turkey Wing platter… I can’t tell If the food came from the trash can or the toilet…. I had such high hopes when I first heard of this place… I feel sick. I tried to eat this and just couldn’t…. I hope I don’t have to go to the hospital…
