OK so, I have a 13 year old Pomeranian. He has a collapsed trachea, and he takes long-term medicine until it is time for him to depart from this world :((( it’s been about seven months since I had gotten him groomed, I’ve just been bathing him and trimming him myself. He wheezes, and coughs a lot so I didn’t think any groomers would accept him. IVE BEEN going to Poochies for years, and has always been happy. So I decided to call, and ask, and she told me of course I can bring my fur baby. She told me he was severely matted ( i know it’s my fault ) , and he’s have to get shaved low. It was $70, wasn’t bad to me at all. I also tipped, of course! I was just so excited she said she’ll take him, she promised to be extra careful around the neck area. I felt so safe, and I honestly was not worried. I paid, and came back and almost cried when I seen my baby. He’s so handsome! He hasn’t been all fresh like this in a while, and I was so mad at myself. Reddy used to get a haircut every month, as long as he’s been alive. Ever since he’s gotten sick, with his throat problem he hasn’t went. I promise to never let him get in such condition again. THANK YOU POOCHIES!!! You’ll definitely see REDDY again soon <3 I cried typing this😭The picture with all his hair was how he has looked this year, his nails were so long as well. I brought nail drills, and clippers but he DOES not let me cut them :( I AM SO GLAD POOCHIES accepts him <3

My sweet baby, Gibson, has been there twice so far and he comes back happy and gorgeous. I am very satisfied and will definitely continue bringing him to Poochis. He looks so cute.

We normally take our fur babies to the vet for a bath. This place was so much better! Betsy is so personable and she took care of my baby's as if they were her own.We will be regular customers!!!

Been going there since my dog was a puppy she 10 now I just recently moved to Lafayette I refuse to find someone out to get my baby groomed call me crazy but these ladies already know what to and how to it right

They were giving our baby away to the wrong person! If I had walked in 10 minutes later I would be sharing my story in a lawsuit.Plus the grooming was horrible/poorly done. Hairs sticking out and legs were way off. It was our pup’s first groom and he was shivering scared for the next few hours almost traumatized. Please consider anywhere else. We were naive and figured their “10+ years in business” was worth something, come to find out the lady in the back cutting someone else’s dog was enjoying a nice cold beer. Very nice to mix that with some scissors 🙃.

They always do a good job on my pup. They are clearly very gentle with the animals and I love how all the staff are so professional but still give the personal touch.

My small pregnant dog, a rat terrier, got stuck in a glue trap. Her whole side was covered in glue. She was kind of traumatized. I rubbed oil on her like the internet told me too and then I called poochi's groomers. They took her right away and she was all clean within 2 hours. There were 4 people working that day. All friendly

Courtney is fantastic, efficient and reliable! Our dog had horrible experiences with another groomer at another business but is finally starting to be so anxious due to Courtney's kindness and understanding. Highly recommend!

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! THE MANAGER/OWNER was very rude and OFFENSIVE!!! She overcharged for the groom, over 50% for no reason. The MANAGER/OWNER also was insulting, in regards to my dogs hair. It’s been COVID and we haven’t been able to give him regular grooming as usual. She suggested we give our dog away, and after the grooming stated she was surprised she’d didn’t find fleas or any infection. I WOULD NOT SUGGEST THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

My dogs enjoy going there.I love that there are drop offs and appointments available. The price is reasonable and they maintain a file with likes and dislikes as well as your preferences.

The absolute worst place to bring your animal.AnnaBelle is a 3lb. Black toy poodle.The first cut she looked so nice smelled so good. The staff was friendly. The second cut....... Buthery.... If you want your dog's trim to be uneven not finished and face shaved so horribly the her eye lid, parts of her face and nose was scalped!! To add to our misery AnnaBelle came home with fleas!My wife picked her up. When i got home and saw her, the fittest thing that caught my attention was her tears. Her tears became thick it turned into goo she cried so much! They showed no sympathy not even an apology.Do your fur baby a right and find someone who cares and respects.

Very wonderful with my Lily 4 months old and never had her nails clipped all hands on deck to make her feel comfortable will definitely be a regular customer for all her grooming

This place is nasty, dirty, mold everywhere, dead mice in the Kennels, and smells of dirty fish water when you walk in. Clutter clutter clutter that's all you see when you walk in. I would give it a negative star if I could.I was not fired from This place I left and I have other employees who will vouch behind that. Also I have worked for the same shops for 5 plus years.
