If I could rate it less than one I would. When we showed up to drop off our dog, the employee refused to groom her claiming she wouldn’t feel comfortable grooming such an old dog. She’s an 11 year old golden. Calm, gentle and in great physical shape.

The store and staff were great. The problem came at checkout when they wanted to CHARGE ME $0.10 for a bad! How absurd. I will now get my products at a cheaper price online.Thank you for that wake up call. The beauty of shopping in the store is browse and get more items. As long as I will be charged for a bag, I will not be shopping at PETCO.

This place is so damn raciest. I don’t like this location because of the groomers. When I tried to go take my pet to get groom all I got was bad attitude from Lori. Bad mouth me right in front of me. I don’t recommend this place for people of color. They didn’t make me for welcome at all, talked about me and didn’t want to groom my pet. Never again I hate this location. Go somewhere else they shouldn’t have a job in customer service because they are not welcoming or caring. I felt disrespected all the way

Make sure you get here early they love to lock their doors earlier than what’s on the door. Then I stood there and knocked and the guy waited until 8pm to come to the door and say hey we’re closed. Well obviously you are now. this was on march 20th 2024

I bought a bag of rabbit food and unfortunately it was infested with pantry moths. The employee I spoke to didn’t seem to care that the entire store’s inventory is now contaminated. Throw out any food you got from here and pray your home isn’t infested 💀

The live fish area in this store is in a sad state at this location. I frequent this location because it right next to where I do my grocery shopping in hopes of seeing improvement. I do buy chemicals for my tanks and dog toys from here. Some tanks have been in quarantine for many weeks. The feeders are in horrible shape. Ick on the feeder minnows with a bunch of dead fish in the tank. Same for the feeder goldfish. If someone puts them in their tank they very likely will have problems. Possibly loosing more expensive fish. Fish are pets too. I would suggest you should hire someone that knows basic fishkeeping knowledge. Or at least remove the dead fish out of the tanks. Also prices are still on tanks where the fish on the tag have been sold. What's happening here is cruel to the animals you are stewards of.. It would be awesome to see some improvement in this stores fish department.You guys sell t-shirt bags for 10 cents, I'm guess to give the illusion that you're trying to help the environment. Yet your fish are in this sad environment... If y'all can't get this simple problem taken care of perhaps you should take out the fish department. Of course your company is driven toward corporate gain so I doubt that would happen... Have a nice day...

HIGH Prices, then Petco would Not bag my $300.00 worth of dog treats and other items unless I purchased Petco "bags" at a extra charge!!! Every time that I have been in their store I spend $250-$500.00 (Twice a month) and now they want me to pay extra for bagging the items that I purchase from them!On-line shopping here I come, items get delivered to my home and I don't have to put up with snotty teenagers that don't want to be there. IT Will NOT be from Petco!

As always, the staff members were very friendly and helpful. In fact there is another Petco closer to my house. I go to the Williams Blvd location. There is a Petsmart 7 blocks from me. I still and most likely will continue to go to Petco on Williams Blvd.

Love getting my pups groomed here! It can get pricey, but that's not something the staff can control. The staff is always so great and sweet to my dogs. I know I'm leaving them in good hands with a staff that really cares.

Had our 2 standard poodles groomed here by Shaina. Their first time at a professional groomer as I usually do them at home. Excellent experience. She was so kind and patient with them. They look amazing!! Will definitely be going back.

A great friend of mine paid for beginner classes for dog training for the rescue that I recently acquired. Christina, the dog trainer, has been amazing throughout the entire experience. Her knowledge is beyond belief. She even gets my dog to do stuff for her that I cannot get her to do at home. on a side note I stopped in late one Sunday evening not realizing the store had closed 5 minutes prior to me arriving. The sales clerk was gracious enough to allow me to come in and grab the dog food I desperately waited till the last minute to purchase.if you're in the need for dog training lessons go see Christina. There's everything from beginner to advanced.

Horrible and rude staff! I dropped my puppy at 12 for regular grooming and was told that he will be ready by 3 and when i got to the place to pick up my baby! They didn’t even start working on him in 3 hours! On top of that that they charged me $45 just because they showered him! Unbelievable!! Will never ever go back!

I have only good things to say about this location especially Beth. My dog and I spent 24hrs in the airport after my flight from Los Angeles to New orleans was cancelled. When we finally made it to Nola I was told my luggage is still at LAX. By the time I made it to Petco they had already closed but since it was an emergency we thought we would try anyways. Beth handles the entire chaotic situation incredibly and professionally. I was so impressed with her wonderful customer service and problem solving skills. She’s an amazing employee and I can’t thank her enough for how well she handled everything.

My cashier was very helpful. She got a medication out the glass case for me then proceeded to ask me certain questions about giving the medication she even took the time to run back to grab me squeeze treats to coat the medication with to give to my full grown cat who is my baby. This cashier was great I will be back.

The young lady working in the fish/reptile area is absolutely amazing! New Year's Day she helped my son and I on several visits ...over two days! We were starting a fish tank and bought a turtle. I wish I knew her name but she is a great member of your team! Thank you so much for all your help!

There weren't many animals and they looked sickly... The frozen mice were half dethawed. There were boxes all over the store but nothing on the shelves and nobody putting anything on the shelves. They had a decent variety of food though and were relatively clean.

I love that they had the adoptable cats very visible by the front door and easily available to pet. I also like the cleanliness of the place and the employees helpfulness in letting my daughter hold one of the leopard geckos and getting me the crickets I went in there for. They also didn't give me a lot of drama because I had to pay for those crickets with my pocket change.

The groomers exceeded my expectations for my dog. He went for a sanitary trim and they trimmed him up well and even straightened out his beard. Another time I went, the cashier was really nice. :)

From the minute I walked in until I walked out the staff was so friendly. I wanted to get my son guennie pig for his b-day. The two staff members a male and female helped me so much by explaining everything to me on feeding,loving,caring and just make sure he's fine. They really went out their way to help me.

Very friendly staff and all so helpful, they are always willing to help With Amu questions. Always clean. A little higher priced than some outlet pet stores but convenient location.one thing I didn’t like was the guys outside from I think is was the humane society trying to get me to make a monthly payment, they were very persistent and a little annoying, even going as far as walking with me to my car when I said no thank you.... other than that I like it here.

The checkout clerk, Beth, was very rude. She tried to make me feel guilty for buying a fish bowl, and almost would not even sell it to me. When I showed her the research I did that showed otherwise, she became even more rude in front of my children. She told me to keep my receipt so I could bring the bowl back when the fish died. I will never go back there again.
