The Derek has really good food. A very comfortable atmosphere and friendly folks. Also I don't know if you're into it or not but they also have pickled quill eggs and things like that there too So if you like that stuff they have it. They're corn dogs are large so it is definitely worth buying one of those on your way through to go somewhere if that's what you desire lots of corn dog for not a big price awesome I hope they keep it it keeps customers rolling in Plus many other good foods as well. They're drinks are not too bad in price as well. And their coffee machines are always working...😃

It’s got a good atmosphere but I usually go for the food and sometimes the food is made very inconsistently. I order the same thing multiple times a week so I guess it’s easy to notice for me. Most of the employees are very intelligent and easy to work with over the phone while making an order and no one has ever gotten my order wrong. But, there is someone who keeps leaving the phone off the hook. It’s very inconvenient. As far as the store, I like that it gives off heavy 1990s small town vibes. I like the selection of stock compared to change gas stations. It makes me insanely happy that the employees and even most of the customers I see in their care for the stray cats outside. I like to make an effort to educate people about TNR and how important it is to care for the neighborhood strays and the people that come and go are very considerate of the cats. I look forward to seeing the strays outside the door so I can pet them. It makes me happy living in a neighborhood that’s all on the same page with cat welfare. This store seems to attract very kind hearted people in many ways.

Great neighborhood store. Gas prices are low enough that it doesn't hurt too bad to gas up. They have ethanol-free gas so my mower is happy; and I can grab fuses, pvc pipe fittings, and other bits of hardware to avoid a trip into town. And the folks are always friendly.

Great mom and pop store with a full service, cook to order grill. Small in size but big in service and down to earth. Very few places like this still exist that have that down home feel. I drive out of my way to stop here and have never once regretted it.

Around the afternoon of Saturday Dec 17, 2021, we ordered two (2) burgers and as we were waiting for the food to be prepared we noticed one of the lady's (not the cook) was adding the lettuce, condiments, and etc. WITHOUT gloves. Then on top of that issue, the same lady stated she cut herself earlier. In addition, she ate a pickle with her fingers while standing over our burgers. NO handwashing noted whatsoever. Whole order was canceled.

Everyone is always nice and friendly. Their kitchen has great hamburgers. The only downside is you can't pay at the pump for gas. You have to go inside.

None of the employees wear masks and they don't make customers wear them either. They prepare and sell food but they don't wear masks in the process. This is unsafe and not following mandates. This adds to the spread of covid. Shame on them.
