We brought our sick dog in Friday morning and were told that she was in great shape and her blood work was impeccable and then sent home with antibiotics. Sadly she passed away Saturday night. Clearly a misdiagnosis of epic proportion.

I brought my daughter for the veterinary workshop & we had a great time. This was a great hands on opportunity for kids that are interested in going into animal care. We learned lots of new things & my daughter is more interested in veterinary medicine than she was to begin with. The workshop was also free. Everyone was very knowledgeable about what they were doing & they were all happy to answer any/all questions the kids had. We are definitely looking forward to the next workshop.

Our kiddos attended a veterinary experience day at Jonesboro Animal Clinic and loved it. They were excited to tell us all they had learned at the eight education stations. Very well organized and friendly and knowledgeable doctors and staff made for a great day learning what exactly happens at a veterinary clinic - drawing blood, giving injections, running an ultrasound machine, learning about veterinary diseases and parasites, and more.Lots of parking and a convenient location on the highway with services for large and small animals.

PSA if you bring your animals to Jonesboro Animal Clinic in Hodge DON'T! Sabin is dead because of pure negligence of the vets office. March 23rd 2023 Sabin was brought in by his mommy to be neutered because she trusted the vets office to do what they're supposed to and take care of her baby. He was perfectly healthy prior to this appointment. It turned out that he had a testicle that was undescended so they had to make another incision to "fix" that. A couple days after he had been neutered he was acting lethargic, wouldn't eat, and started running 104 fever so we brought him to the emergency vet on March 26, 2023. The emergency vet said that he had an infection from the inside of the incision so they prescribed some antibiotics to fight off the infection. The following day on March 27th, 2023 he had his follow up appointment at the clinic in Jonesboro where she brought him in and was explaining what had happened, and all they had to say was that he just "doesn't tolerate pain well". Completely disregarded my sister's concern for her dog, and now a week later he is dead. He was lying on the floor, & been acting more sleepy when Sam went to check on him he wouldn't respond and started to show signs of having a seizure then went limp. I started administering emergency CPR immediately, and when I couldn't do it his mama did. We fought to bring him back for over 25 minutes, but despite our efforts we couldn't bring him back. All of this could've been prevented had the vet just listened when she brought him back explaining the situation, and instead the girl made her feel stupid because she "knew" what she was talking about and had done the surgery herself. If you love your babies please don't bring them back to the Jonesboro Animal Clinic, you won't regret your decision!

I thought we had a balance, but we didn't. I mentioned i have (6); 1 1/2 year old puppies that need an owner for themselves. Someone to pay attention to them, to give them Special love, an owner of their own because i have to spread love to 6. They need their own special owner that they (each) can call their own. They referred me to someone that can help me get a loving home for them. They are trained to use an inside potty (like a cat), using cedar chips.They are also reasonable explaining costs and what the dog (in this case) needs. Thank you Jonesboro Animal Clinic

This was a first time experience with this clinic. And they did not disappoint!! I had my boys (Zeus and Dexter) boarded over a long weekend. The clinic called Tuesday to inform us that our boys were dry and waiting for us. When we arrived they were clean and happy. Everyone there went over and beyond to assure us our guys were welcome and cared for. Also, they seen my mother's new dog as a walk in . And took amazing care of him too. And I did not have to pay an arm and a leg !! Quality care at an affordable price. . This will definitely be my new vet of choice.

I loved them. They care about their animals they treat. What I loved about it was they called to check up on my dog to see how he's doing,all the other vets I've been to hasn't don't that. So yes I will be back to them from now on

The staff took great care of my cat on his yearly check up. They thoroughly discussed what issue he possibly has, and laid out a treatment plan. Cost was discussed before procedures were completed if I requested the information, and my cat had the lowest amount of stress out of any vet visit. Thanks for taking good care of Cypress!

We changed over to this clinic because we were going long distance from previous vet's office. We couldn't be happier. They are reasonable moneywise. Just consider whether you care about your animal or not. (ours is our beloved baby, a mountain feist).... We went there thinking it would be huge pain to switch and pain in the neck given we were moving over to another clinic. Thought would be so tough to switch but they went thru our fat folder from before. ....they were so caring about our experience.. and I know it took them a lot of time and effort to dive into those fat convoluted folders we gave them....I feel good about them. They know their stuff.....and that matters hugely of course.

Love this place . Been taking my babies there for 3 years . When my big guys time came to cross over , the Doc came to our home to do it . They were so kind . And they are also great with my deaf baby girl . I would recommend them to anyone.

I had a very sick kitty cat, he was our Baby. We took him to this vet and she was so great with our Baby and with explaining everything. We had to put him to sleep due to ear cancer. I am forever grateful to all the wonderful and caring people that work here. Look, these are the nicest people you’d find anywhere. But the prices they charge for such a rural area, are just so ridiculously high. $180 to spay a kitten totally explains why there are so many unwanted cats out here.

I highly recommend them! The front desk staff are so friendly and welcoming and very kind to your fur babies. My mal is 2 and lots of energy and we’re working on it! But they loved on her and were so sweet to her and gave her treats, which I really appreciated. She was overwhelmed and more excited than usual with all the new smells but everyone just took it in stride! We were seen straight to a room at our appt time which was great because Jo wants to make friends with everyone and we want to respect everyone’s space. The vet and vet techs were just as loving and patient with her, and the vet was so informative. She walked me through the current problem, treatment plan, and options if it didn’t resolve which I was very thankful for, and I left feeling very confident in her treatment plan with clear instructions on what we need to do at home. Everyone there clearly loves their job and it was a great visit. We’ve found our permanent vet!

I've never brought my animals here but today I came across a dog running down the side of the road with a massive lump on his neck. I could tell that his wound had been treated and that it was basically an incision that had abused. I took him to this clinic and immediately they knew who he was and who he's along to. That right there tells me that these people care about what they do. The next time my animals have an issue (since my vet is an hour away) I will definitely consider this place.

I took both my dogs to the Jonesboro animal clinic because the groom my dogs as well. The clinic was clean and organized, I was seen immediately and it did not take long for the dogs to be cut and examined. I really like the veterinarian, she really showed my dogs and my concerns about my dogs mattered to her. I would highly recommend the Jonesboro Animal Clinic to my friends, family and others.
