We went to pick up our Christmas Tree today and the guy flat out lied to me. I asked if they shake out the tree's and put the net on them. He said no! He was pretty ride because they page him before I was ready to decided on the one I wanted.I saw them early shake a tree a wrap it. I even pointed it out to my Son! Obviously he didn't want to do his job and rushed us out!Never will I go back because the Hospitality and customer service is terrible!

Not bad for basic things. The help needs more training. When you ask a question they aren't alot fo help. And it's not the whole place. I still order from there almost weekly though.

I really do love Stines it’s probably my favorite store ever but that doesn't cover the hurt that it feels when workers are usually quick to ask you if they can help you they follow you around like you’re up to no good or about to steal the whole entire time especially the Iron Man today it’s like he was everywhere and then I went and I did not appreciate him watching me like I’m some kind of heathen I mean he sure wasn’t watching me to make sure I didn’t need anything unless he’s a stocker but it’s every time I go into there they really it’s like they pick on you or something they’re not trying to make sure that I need anything is that they’re watching to make sure and open it in my pocket, and I have never stole in my life on purpose!

If you are looking for service, Stines is the place. There are plenty of knowledgeable employees around. Their selection and prices need improvement. The garden center is OK at best if you get there when they receive a shipment. The electrical department is a joke at best.

Hate the new check out. Everyone down one lane and very long line with only one person working behind the counter. I spent more time in line then shopping. Looks like I will be shopping at Lowe's, where I don't have to wait in line for 30 minutes to get to the checkout.

Staff always greets you upon entering the store. Staff are on the floor and always ready to assist you in finding what you came for and if they don't have it they will direct you where you can get it. Excellent service. Very clean.

I was very pleased with the interest that the store clerk paid to me. And the cashier was very knowledgeable about what I needed, even showing me what I really needed. I went to Stine looking for one thing and left with something I really needed. When I got home, I installed the appliance with very much ease. Also I purchased a large appliance that was delivered right on time with a call before hand. I will shop Stine again before going to the big box stores.

I'm rewriting my prior review. I originally only gave Stine three stars for the condition of the garden center. I realize now that Stine is not the best place to buy plants. It is a fabulous place to buy just about anything else that is hardware or lumber related. I was there this morning, and was absolutely impressed with the service from Byron, who helped me buy the right tools. When I checked out, Ben was just about the most pleasant young man that I've ever met at a check out.A+ for Stine. In and out with the right stuff and personal help. I love this store!!!!!

Employees were very nice and helpful.I would have left a good review had they adhered to any safety guidelines.No employees (but one) actually wore their mask (would not have been bothered as much if they had a plexiglass separation but they did not), they did not enforce the policy of having customers wear a mask or socially distance.EVERYONE in there is mask free.Very disappointing to see in the midst of a national pandemic.

Every time I go to jennings location. It is Miserable and nobody knows anything about there job. Everyone don't want to be there. One lady was moving so slow I thought she was blind folded at first. Then when I ask for management. She said she was the manager. I know good help is hard to find. But I'm sure (Mr. Stines) is very proud of his jennings location.

My Stihl BR450C blower has been here 8 months for warranty work. I havent gotten a single courtesy call and Ive made 3 visits to check on it. I go to pick it up to bring it somewhere else and its missing a half dozen bolts, the air filter, air filter and carb housing, and no warranty work done. All I got was "bring it to the next Stihl mechanic and we'll tell em it sat here forever".Edited 1/23/22: No follow ups, machine missing multiple parts that it went in there with. Ended up giving the d@mn thing away. Whole lotta $hit not given at this location.Edited 3/6/2022: No response stihl, no pun intended.Edited 3/23/22: Yes Ms Angie Im well aware of worldwide parts shortages. Ive explained quite a bit above. My blower went in INTACT for warranty work early 2021. It had a frayed pull rope and dead battery. It sat so long and I got no answers when Id check on it, I decided to pick it up in January 2022. Well its missing parts that cannot be located (bolts, air filter, air filter cover, etc). I asked whats the next plan of action then I was handed a few mis-matched and incorrect bolts and told "take it to the next Stihl mechanic and we'll tell them it sat here forever." Thats not how warranty work goes or customer service. I would have liked to at least walk out with it intact and with every part it went in yalls place with. Yes, I did end up giving it to a buddy who has a lawn service and said he'd ebay the parts and get it running for his business. I was fed up with the entire situation.

This is the most ridiculous store I have ever shopped in. The other stines locations are not like this one in Jennings.. I want to say that up front. This review is for the Jennings location only!! I was treated like I was going to rob them at gun point when I'm fact all I wanted to do was kill some time and grab a couple things for my house, enjoy some time to myself. Apparently you can't do that at the Jennings location with out being followed so closely by a employee that you can smell thier breath and feel thier body heat they are so close to you and when you try to continue your shopping they constantly interrupt youi have never behaved in any type of way to warrant the type of treatment I got while shopping there... I felt humiliated and just wound up leaving because of the way they made me feel

Great place to get what ever you need for the outdoors,in home are anything you need to fix something just go ask for help and they will take you to what you need and they are friendly to.

I wish u could give less than a star. I dredd coming to this stines because I swear the workers are told to not assist anyone. I walked around for an hour today, and no telling how much other time, and counted how many employees walked by. 27. I'm really did need help, but didn't have my chasing shoes on. I wish there was somewhere else in this town to go, but unfortunately not.

The garden center is very sad. I understand with the heat it can be hard to maintain the plants, but the ones that are almost dead should at least be on sale. But with so many workers standing or walking around the center it shouldn’t be too difficult to keep the plants watered. I’ve been many times this year and every time I see at least four workers standing around while the plants are all knocked over, unwatered, and just looking a mess.

Normally I dislike this store Almost without exception the girls st the registers seem to be put off with the fact that they have to check you out. Seldom is there a smile and a warm greeting. It's a crapshoot as to whether or not you find someone working on the floor that knows what they're talking about. There's one exception to this. His name is Gerald in the garden center. He is always so willing to help and could ignore the fact that you're in his department but makes it a point to come up and ask if you need anything. He is the most pleasant person in that entire store! The stores in Crowley and in Lake Charles are staffed so much better than the store. It's a shame there's not more Geralds out there.

Pretty good hardware store to be able to just run in and get what you need. Normally have workers at every register so there isn't much of a wait to check out. Has a decent selection of normal hardware needs.

The aisles were overly cluttered with boxes and dollies in the way. The only riding cart was not returned inside and the wheelchairs were small. Not the best place to be if you're mobility impaired and still need supplies for small home repair.

The best customer service I have received in quite some time and close to closing time! This guy walked around the nursery and found the trees I was looking for with nothing but the most helpful attitude I wish I would have gotten his name because his customer service skills should be recognized ( I am very indecisive and he very patient)

This is the worst store for customer service. When you need help and go looking for an employee you see 4 or 5 who run the other way. If you manage to pin someone down chances are they don’t hv a clue what your talking about only then do they direct you to someone who can actually help you. Very frustrating.

Bought a chain saw brand new and my hand started using it but it wouldn’t cut so he looked at it and showed me the chain was put on back wards and now they are saying since last week they waiting on chains and here we are a whole week and still no chains that’s the STIHL ms170

Called and they tell me they have the materials I needed.. drove there, paid the materials then go in the warehouse and they didn't have the materials. Had to get a refund and drive to the Broussard
