Always clean. Pumps are sometimes slow for a store with that volume of fuel...but never a bad place to stop. The hot box food is always on point at peak hours. I'm sure he's not the only one, but I always see Mr Rick rotating the hot box and checking to see how long they've been on. He cooks the gumbo at Bourbon Street too. Its not just a truck stop gumbo. Somebody's pawpaw cooks dat in the back fresh yeh...ask somebody sha.

Nice little stop. They seem to have plenty of stuff to look at. If you need a drink for the road, they have you covered! KIDDING!! DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE!! PLEASE! All of the staff were friendly and prompt. Be safe in your travels!

Bought this in October 2023 and wrapped it up for my Mom for her birthday 1/9/24 and now 1/12/24 and it already broke. Very saddened. It wasn’t the cheapest purse either non refundable.

Gross, reeked of cigarettes, and parking lot felt very unsafe. Bathroom trash was overflowing and everything was wet.

You name it they probably have it! They have the best machine cappuccinos, good liquor store, casino, decent restrooms and gift shop along with a standing stuffed gator for pictures.

Olivia the cashier was not friendly or courteous. She was rude when I asked if someone could provide the price of an item when clearly there were two cashiers and more staff in the store. She did not thank me for my purchase and acted if a 5-second price check was too much to ask on a $200 item that was not marked.

The employees here are too busy holding personal conversations with personal visitors store then they are tending to the customers in line. As a former and very successful restaurant manager, I can tell you that the service I received from them is some of the worst service I have received anywhere in my travels. Could not pay me to visit there again and I certainly would refuse to visit there again even if my life depended on it.

I'd give negative stars if possible. The Black Gold Casino personal were rude and very unprofessional. I wouldn't go back even if someone paid me, I mean this with every ounce of my being...this place is a joke so do yourself a favor and drive a few more miles. There's no possible way you could do any worse than this....trust me.

Great service and many things to choose from to buy, prices are decent. Would recommend stopping here during travel, you can get souvenirs to remember your time in LA, drinks, slushes, gloves, plushies and more!

I leave one star only because it was the only way to leave this review. I'm disgusted with the the fact that they charged me 1.85 plus tax for toilet water in a cup. These people should be ashamed of themselves. They are exploiting the travelers who come through here. Sad sad sad!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Fuel pumps never work always gotta go in and pay store is run down. Employees are rude. Everything is over priced. Some of the afoot traffic that stays or moves threw there is strung out junkies. And drunks

Good place to park after a long days drive specially for a truck driver as my self many restaurants close by the only issue is that the Jennings airport is rite next door can't sleep specially when you just parked,in the morning hours the local crop spray plains come in and out frequently unless you're a heavy sleeper then no problem.Store has great coffee and you gotta stop by 👍😋

2:30 am and they wouldn't sell us gas said they were about to close and were turning pumps off.

Hurricane victims are flocking there to fill gas cans. After you pump your gas a security guard comes out and hollers at you for pumping more the 10 gallons. Way to support a community in need !!!!

They accuse anyone who isn't White of stealing, has their rent a cop follow everyone around and he finds some excuse to kick any black person out of there no matter what they are dressed like, but says they are breaking the "dress code" this business is racist and harassing.
