My poor baby dislocated her hip to the point they had to do surgery. The staff was awesome explained everything and made me feel like I was make the right choice. The vet even called when they were done with surgery to tell me how well it went. Definitely recommend if you need your fur baby checked out.

Ten stars! What a FABULOUS staff! Sabrina is sweet as sugar and she loves animals. All staff were kind and very professional. Dr. Anderson was genuine, kind, focused, professional, intelligent, articulate, and she showed a LOT of concern with the sweet stray kitten I brought in. I've lived in 6 States and 19 Cities and this is by far the BEST facility I've ever been to. Down to earth "City." I HIGHLY recommend Hickory Small Animal Hospital. You will not be disappointed. A+UPDATE: When I brought this stray kitten into the Hickory Small Animal Hospital she was barely hanging on to life. She could hardly stand or walk. She has now made a full recovery thanks to Dr. Anderson and her staff! She is happy, playing, jumping, and eating like a champ. Thank you Dr. Anderson and staff!!!

Never made it past the initial call for an appointment. I was quoted $250 per dog for new patient, office visit yearly shots including rabies and worm test via poop sample. This didn't include heartworm prevention medication or flea/tick prevention. I have 2 dogs! Took them to a neighboring vet clinic where they received the same services for $155 for both. My dogs could care less where the shots come from.

This is by far the best vet to go too in the area ....the girls took good care of my tuxedo kitten Tolena and you can tell they truly love animals and love what they do ...I wouldn't go anywhere else ! Highly recommend!! 👍😁And thank you for taking good care of my baby :)

The office staff and Dr. Anderson took as much care as they could for our Brash, sadly Brash didn't make it due to an illness that we didn't catch until it was to late. Dr. Anderson did everything she could to make him feel better, and when it came time for us to let go she was there and treated us like family rather than another client. The staff and Dr. Anderson are amazing and I would recommand everyone to them.. Thank you guys for making my babies last days easy and peacful.

I just wanna say this vets office is awesome!! I had a female that had a infected paw. She isn't very people friendly and feels threatened easily. I was super worried about getting her in to get treatment because of her temperament. Both vets were so understanding and accepted her as a patient. She put up a fight and was scared ri death but they managed to get her knocked out and lanced her paw. They took the very best care of her and I absolutely can't thank them enough!!

My go-to vet for the past few years. Always able to get me in on short notice at either location. Very friendly staff and very good at communicating, especially when my cat has to do an overnighter. Have consistently done more than expected when trying to solve a problem, and have been great at looking at info from past trips and trying to find new treatment opportunities rather than settling for the same old answers to get us out the door. Highly recommend.

The price for visit is very reasonable, affordable, and to schedule the appt was a breeze. Extremely helpful, and warm on the phone. I scheduled first appt. for our adopted dude.pup, Tray assisted me. She is thorough, and knowledgeable. Looking forward to visit at Independence location.

My puppy had a problem that I explained to the Staff and Doctor that I had been dealing with for 3 years, I explained that 5 other Dr's have charged me hundreds of dollars and never cared about the fact that my dog was miserable and that they kept charging the money and my dog NEVER gets better. My dog 10 days later after this facility treated him he was not 100%. I told them I could not afford another dime for this same problem after paying them hundreds of dollars that they had already ran test on and diagnosed 10 day's prior.In order for refills or any other options for his care I had to pay MORE money and bring him back, and be charged to even get a refill. They refused to see my dog without more money. My opinion, I will never return to that place again, the dog and his suffering means NOTHING to them, It's all about the almighty dollar for them and their service. I will never recommend anyone for this kind of treatment.

My two rabbit's had a flea egg problem and I went inside and asked them what I should do, they told me this flea treatment called "front line" was okay for them. A day after buying it and putting it on them they got seriously sick and had to get rushed to a Folsom vet the vet told me that front line is deadly to rabbits and they could have died without veterinarian help.. All because this vet couldn't tell me the truth my two baby rabbits almost died

Nice place, love Mrs. Anderson and her staff. They explained everything to me about what procures they're going to do with my 3 puppies. Even calls me on the phone to update me on the conditions of my puppies. Reasonable with their prices! Definitely recommend them to anyone!

They are the most outstanding, I kneeled my 3 dogs with the Independence location for 6 days, I could not ask for better treatment of my babies. They were clean and well fed. The ladies there knew every thing that the dogs had done the whole time they were there, I never heard an answer of I don't know. If you are in need of vetnairy services or are looking for a new vet please visit one of their locations they will be glad to have you visit. My family use them for all our pets and that is a total of 8 dogs so far.

This is a small animal and from the time you walk in the door, you feel a warm gentle welcome. Very understanding of your concerns and the Vet. explains everything in a calm layman's term. All staff are courteous. Accept walk ins but best to call, make sure vet is in.
