Employees r always so friendly. On this particular visit ( I say that because I shop there on a regular) the grocery section was out of stock on a lot of items but it could have been the time of month that is in higher demand of certain things. Also the store and parking lot r clean. And it's the only location that I'm aware of that stays open till 11pm. I drive further than 2 other stores to shop in Indy. ....I'm a night owl 🦉

This store has been a lifesaver for our family. Like everywhere, to be fair, you can't know if what you want or need will be in stock but it sure beats going into the larger supermarket's. They've kept their prices in place and honor the coupons policy that was great before the virus. All policies have been adhered to and the employee's are friendly! Every time I've shopped there its being cleaned and restocked.

Pleasant experience. I had never seen a Dollar General gas station. Restroom was clean, an employee was friendly and asked if I needed help finding anything, and the store was organized. Not much more to ask for!

Nice attitudes. Warm welcomes. Smiles. Good selection of shopping items here for your home, especially toiletries, cleaning products, snacks, personal hygiene products, and small gifts. Usually longer lines on Friday evenings. Sells gasoline here at pumps with DG gasoline card. Buggies everywhere (as parking lot is sloped downhill). Within city limits. Near schools.

If you purchase a cell phone here please plan on keeping it because this store will not accept returns on cell phones and there is no sign to warn customers of this. There is a big difference in a purchase of a prepaid device and if you are on a post pay plan you will not be able to activate the device unless you choose to switch from a post pay account which offers credit to their loyal customers, to a prepaid account without credit but paying your bill in advance.The staff and manager just did not understand the inconvenience it caused and really did not care, but Corporate Office understood my English very well.After a a few trips of being persistent and a few phone calls, I did manage to get my refund. What was I suppose to do with a phone that could not be activated on my plan? Look at it grow old in a box ? Think not.I know this and it is that consumers have rights concerning their hard earned greenbacks. They choose to spend them where they wish. The business should appreciate regular customers they see everyday spending money in their store and not hand them a hard time when a problem arises.The phone was never used, never activated, and was still in the same condition as it was the day I purchased it.I called the company of the phone and I was told I had 14 days to return it to the store I purchased it from . But it was a whole different story when I tried to return the phone.

Speedy checkout and they've enhanced product availability. I use to have to drive to Winn Dixie for my toothpaste but not anymore. Check them out as they take on new products. The cashiers are friendly and helpful as well. I only gave 4 stars because the temperature seems to be 60 or less, very cold in there.

Was treated very ugly by the employees. DM contacted and seem to not care. He puts up with his employees. Poor job of managing workers- you sir do not deserve your position/salary. DG making mistake with you. You never even called me back after you were supposed to view the cameras footage. Trust me just keep driving this one isn't worth your time stopping. The employees definitely have a chip on their shoulders. It is quite the difference when the shoe is on the other foot so to speak.

This is the cleanest Dollar General ive ever seen. Actually, it was so clean, I asked them how long theyve been open, looks like they just opened yesterday. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The produce looks very fresh as well.

DO NOT GET GAS FROM THIS STORE. There is water in the fuel. Put $40 in my Cadillac and almost immediately you could tell it's bad fuel. The store itself is great but fuel is bad!

Can you believe it Dollar General has fruit and vegetables now. I'm impressed. And employees are nice . Its clean . What a A+ for this small store .

The manager was rude with me. I was told one thing on the phone. Made the trip here and got treated like dirt. Very unprofessional. Honor what you tell your customers.

The store was a tad disorganized because of a big sale they just had but it is usually tidy and everything is in stock. This particular Dollar General also sells frozen food and fruits and vegetables

This place is huge! There is a lot of inventory to choose from based on your needs, but it felt cramped and unorganized in a sense. It was hard to navigate around because of the stuff that would block the walkways. The staff was friendly, but didn't know exactly what they had when asked about certain items.

Stock scattered all about the store..Lack of product due to empty shelves..If you do find something that you want, you have to move all the carts out of the way to get to it..Some gas pumps were down..Why can't they hire more help to save this store..I had high hopes for this store once Walmart moved out of it..They can't even replace the signage that has fallen down by the checkouts (heckout is what is hanging up)..

This dollar store is the only local dollar store that doesn’t have boxes all in the aisles. It is stocked and clean, the employees are nice also.

I love the Dollar general in Independence it has groceries, cleaning supplies clothes anything you may want and even gas makes it even better

Kind of slow at registers has three sometimes only one working plans are long very cluttered aisles with merchandise that needs to be put up other than that very very good

There was a line at the register and one employee stood with her hands in her pockets and refused to lessen the wait. The aisles were strewn with boxes and merchandise making it hard to shop.
