I stopped into Wal Mart's Vision Center because my glasses were in need of repair. I'm not a regular customer and was in Houma because of work. Mrs. Tanja was extremely friendly and took care of my glasses in no time. She is the type of associate that will guarantee repeat business. Thank you Mrs. Tanja!

The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. They never clean the bathrooms. They will mop the floor and leave the toilets and counters a mess and never fill up the paper towel or toilet paper depensors. This has to be a health code violation. Please fix this issue.

Updated review:Half the time I go, you have to navigate your way through a maze because there's pallets of stock sitting all over the floor. Not off to the side, either. When I worked at a Supermarket we never did this.New problem. Self checkouts are being reserved for Walmart plus subscribers. Never seen one being used. They just sit there taking up space while the line is halfway across the store.Speaking of buggies, almost every time I go, the parking lot is full of buggy sitting around in random places being used as trash cans. Disgusting.Seems like every day more and more things are locked behind glass because of the crime problem. I realize that this store attracts Houma's "finest", but it's ridiculous that I can't even buy a pack of shirts, underwear, or any number of other items. What's that you say? Just get the employee to unlock it? What employee? It's like as soon as you decide to get something, you start generating some kind of field that repels every employee in the store. And if you do find one, they never have the key and you have to wait while they wander off. Most of the time they never come back, nor does anyone else, and your left just standing there wondering if they even understood what you said. Now, if I need something and it's behind glass, I just leave and go to another store.Store seems to be run inefficiently. Supervisors and managers seem more concerned with giving orders and making sure employees don't get too comfortable with their job then with actually seeing to it that the job gets done. These people need to go through some real leadership training. Leadership is not just about barking orders. It's about inspiration. Setting an example. Bringing out the best in those working below you.The bakery items are almost all horrible. Even when I first started making bread, it wasn't as bad as the stuff they have. They really should be congratulated because somebody had to go out of their way to figure out how to make it as bad as possible. The sweets aren't much better. One thing I do like is the pies. Some of them. They're better than a lot of the other pies from grocery stores.Drink section sucks. It's always wiped out, and even when not there's surprisingly little variety. Almost nothing in the way of specialty items.Try to buy a small bottle of rum to cook with. Went to the liquor register. Light was on. No cashier. No cashier on the next one to the right either. So I went around to the left and there was an old man working. I had one item and told him I also needed a bottle of rum. He looked at me like I had dropped out of the sky, had purple skin, and eight eyes. He just couldn't wrap his mind around it. He kept trying to tell me there's always someone there. I explained three times that myself and another customer have been there for 5 minutes and no one was around. We even asked the closest employee we could see right up front and she also looked at us like we were some kind of space aliens. I really don't understand why this was so difficult. Finally got the old cashier from the next aisle to come around but he couldn't make anything out and didn't understand what I was asking for. Not really his fault. It's not his section. Through all this, whoever was supposed to be at this register never showed up. Finally I told him not to worry about it, that I would just go buy it somewhere else. Not that it's any easier anywhere else.Not too long ago I needed a replacement light for a truck. Of course it's behind the glass. It took 20 minutes of me pressing the help button to get anyone there and finally what looked like some kind of manager showed up and he was clearly agitated and didn't appreciate having to actually do something. Well, sorry You had to do something other than hide in an office.Just not a pleasant place to shop, and I try to avoid it when I can.

Just passing thru Louisiana. Needed new tires only place that was open was walmart. They had tires for our car. done put 4 tires plus balance less then 20 min. Now that's service on a Sunday.

If I could give a zero as a review I would. Brought a car in this past Saturday to get all four tires changed. Everything looked great until 3 days later when I find a lug nut in the cup holder. Not a one worker said anything about a lug nut issue. Have been driving it around without the lug nut. Pulled the hubcaps off found the one missing which had yellow pain marker all over the rim around it like that fixed it I guess. But I was not informed on anything about the issue. Will never be back to the tire center.

Not very good for fruits and vegetables. The smaller Marketplace Walmart down the road has much better and more of a selection than the supercenter.

Went to exchange some coffee that someone just bought for me I had receive it was brought for a birthday present but wrong kind some I just want to exchange he paid more For what my cost and I told them I didn’t need know change keep it I come in that store a lot very very disappointed

Do NOT buy a phone here. I purchased a iPhone 11 yesterday only to get home and call to activate and it I'm told it was not scanned correctly and I have to take it back to Walmart, I drive 20 minutes back for them to admit they scanned the wrong barcode therefore the serial on the receipt didn't match the phone itself. Then I'm told by fat & ugly manager/coach Ashley that it's past 8pm and there is nothing she can do to fix this because it requires a return and they don't do returns after 8 even though it's completely their fault. I will be returning but not to have them fix the issue but completely returning the phone, case, screen protector and plan. I'll gladly go spend my $300+ somewhere else because I will never shop at ANY Walmart again after this interaction and I WILL be making a report to corporate because miss Ashley was cursing at her employee right in front of me with her crooked methmouth teeth.

I do not need to show a receipt when buying something. Definitely great way to get sued. Walmart has been sued plenty of times over this. You do have a right to ask but I do have the right to legally not show you. For the cop that was there. You should know that. This walmart is a damn joke.

They lock up socks, and you have to wait 20+ minutes and talk to nine different employees to get them unlocked. Walmart used to be a good place to shop. Not so much anymore.

The only reason I give it two Starz this because they do not stay open 24 hours nowadays. Ever since covid they never resumed normal operating hours. It's definitely frustrating having to supercenters in our town and none of them is 24 hours now. Not to mention a lot of foods doubled in price. And you have to check out your own items. I did not sign up to work at Walmart.

Brought my disabled mother to look for a new bra. After finding a few she liked, we go to try on and get turned around saying "oh, you can't try on bras here." After offering to purchase the bras beforehand, explaining the disability and huge weight loss, we still get told that we cannot try it on. We purchased them anyway, just to get home and fund out they don't fit her properly. Now, she is all upset because we have to go and return them. I tried calling the store 6 times pressing a different option each time in hopes of getting transferred to a manager about how we were treated , but got no answer. Now, $40+ wasted along with time and gas I could have saved. This is a huge inconvenience to a loyal customer. Walmart. Ends to do better!

This store and the service desk in this store closes at different times than when they advertise the store claims to close at 11 pm twice I have gone into the store at 10 pm and was told I had a few minutes they would be closing early and once I needed to pick up money at the service desk at 6 pm and was told they were closed the service desk advertised they close at 8 pm this is inconvenient making a trip to this Walmart for nothing and false advertisement I also shop according to the item location and if that item is in stock on the Walmart app manymany many times the app told me the item was in a certain location only to find it was not only in a different location but a whole different department also several times the app told me an item I was looking for was in stock only to get to this Walmart to find it was actually out of stock and had been for a while I feel they can do better but don’t care it’s like they make up their own rules

This store locks up everything and doesn’t have the staff to support unlocking for customers. Waited 10 minutes just trying to buy some white t-shirts. In the end no one was able to find a manager or anyone with a key so I finally left.

Everything was stocked and clean, did have to wait 20 minutes for someone in the cologne section to unlock the case and walk me to a cashier, hopebut who expects being in Walmart for less than 20 minutes? Lol.

The worst place I've ever been. I started using their delivery service and only 2 deliveries were ever successful. One time they even said it was delivered when it wasn't. I gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe someone stole it but I checked my doorbell camera and nope. No delivery, then when I contacted them about it they said they would issue a refund but "you could keep the items" is what they said. Like I was lieing. I will never use Walmart services again. If your not going in the store itself, don't use their online services. Instacart is so much better.

I've been on the same meds for over 7 years. I transferred to Walmart for better service and ended up worst. I pay to see a doctor and for a pharmacy to just remove and delete all my meds without considering or consulting with me or my dris very sad and unprofessional. I will consult with my lawyer because this is totally wrong and un called for.very sad place infact the worst I've ever been to.

Needs more damn registers open they claim there prices are cheaper but get the shaft when you pay by sales tax some employees and there mystery security likes to follow people around too much getting fed up with Walmart they need to watch more by restrooms every time I go in there the security devices on products and packing is left there by shop lifters.
