This location is pretty great. Been a customer for many years. Employees seem to stick around so you are dealing with familiar faces. They have knowledge and experience that makes me feel comfortable. It was really cute, when I purchased a pet for my children they asked a lot of questions making sure I had everything we needed and that I understood it's diet and other needs. They seem to really care which is great.

I ordered something that quickly went out of stock. I was happy that I was quickly notified in an email, however the website still showed that item in stock. I know the system for stock online and in store isn't perfect, and though it did cause a little stress the email to quickly notify me of the situation was very helpful because I then was able to turn around and order the missing item to be shipped to my home instead.

The staff was extremely courteous even with the social distancing and limited people allowed in the store. I opted for curbside pick up and they were so fast and nice! They even hand wrote me a thank you note! I would drive the distance just to go back to this store!

It was super easy the associate that answered the phone for pick up was very polite and helpful and the associate that brought out my order brought it straight to the back of my truck I didn't have to get out and she was very friendly! I really like the new curbside pick up option. My puppy is very happy!

I was greeted when I walked in but had to ask for help. 2 times. I spent 146.00 and my two most expensive items were both broken. I needed them that night so I had to repair the filter and the UV light to make sure my pet was safe. I'll be going to a locally owned business from now on.

This petco is absolutely wonderful, they give amazing customer service, they make sure their customers are taken care of no matter what. I have to say whenever you ask about any of the product, animals, or grooming they are on point giving great explanationsand details. I will shop here all the time, and know I'm very well taken care of no matter what. Their store is very well kept and organized, it's amazing how easy it is to find things, if I can't find what I'm looking for they help me find it plus find more that I need.

Okay updating my review since my recent visit. Service was fine and aisles were maintained well. I know I said the place stunk once you waljed in, but it's not there anymore. More variety of stuff on reptiles.

eh. i don't normally like getting pets from pet stores, but i did once. when we brought my bird home, he was clearly sick. he's healthy and happy now but they should have employees that actually know how to care for these animals.

You had a product close to what I needed. When I got home the exact product had been delivered to me. I was happy you had a similar product in case the ordered one didn't arrive on time.

Went for fish. The young man was very knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. My grandson has Autism, and he was into the elements of wanting to know the species of fish and everything about them. The young man was great.

I actually live in Baton Rouge but was visiting the Houma area. My experiences there have not been satisfactory as far as their performance. Ben who trimmed their nails was amazing with both of my babies. I will travel the 60+ miles again when it's time

It was the easiest pick up I've had in a long time. I ordered on line, called to be sure I had time to get it because it was close to closing time, and picked it up. They already had the item pulled and on a cart to put in my car.

They SUCK!!!! I called and made an appointment to get my damn dog groomed and nails clipped and they argue me down and say I ask for a bath something I can do at my house!!!! Charge me $15 for a bath and tried to make it sounds nice by saying it was half price special today! I don't know why I went back because the last time they cut my dogs ear and didn't even tell me I didn't notice it until I got home. Burning can promise you I won't be going back!Make sure when you make your appointment you speak clearly and say you want a HAIRCUT because it seems to me that they don't understand English or they can't hear!!!!! They deserve a half of a Star cause the lil pregnant chick even gave me stank ass attitude! Of which I did not appreciate! We won't be returning to that groomers! Petsmart is cheaper anyway!

I used to shop and get my dog groomed there, but they charged me for a full size husky to get a haircut when I only have a 30 lb dog... multiple times. On top of that, some of the animals were kept in not-so-good conditions... i.e. a glass container with nothing in it, and it clearly stressed the animals out.

Petco in Houma, LA is the only place locally that has Purina Pro Plan for small dogs with the chewy pieces. Also the staff is very friendly and helpful every time I am in the store. Thank you Petco.

It's sometimes hard to find an employee to help you here. They are nice, though. I got some fish here and an aquarium. If you sign up for the rewards program, you might get a lot of emails from them.

Ben is Parker's groomer and he is AWESOME!!! Parker is a very high anxiety dog and Ben takes GREAT care of him! And of course he puts me at ease. I LOVE our visits with Ben!!!

Went for vetco service for my animals and they are always very good, helpful and professional. They take time with each customer, which makes it a bit slower, but thorough. Very good.

I called Petco about grooming/trimming my long haired cat, their reply was that they only groom dogs. My reply was, why doesn't a major company that claims to be a full service pet provider provide services to the MILLIONS of cat owners in this country. Sounds like discrimination to me.
