We needed a last minute trip for my husband’s birthday and really got lucky stumbling upon this rental. We’ve wanted to attend an event at John Schneider studios for years but didn’t know about private houses. I had questions before booking that Jessica was very prompt and helpful with. I was so happy our furbaby was allowed without paying $ to bring her. As we entered the gate we had no clue of the sights ahead. It truly is a unique oasis with a secluded feel yet plenty to do onsite. Being on a river it has beautiful sights & sounds of nature. Lots of thought & personal touches went into everything on the property. Our stay at the Cash House was lovely. It was very clean convenient, comfortable and nicely decorated. From chilled water, coffee pods, toiletries, detergents, to cooking utensils you don’t need to bring much. The mattress was very comfortable. We enjoyed the front patio to sip a drink and watch the sunrise/set. The back was nice to eat out of sunlight. Cash House is close to the pool. We had it to ourselves for most of our stay! The resort style pool has fireplaces bbq pits a swing tiki bar stage plenty of tables & sun chairs. I’d recommend to friends and look forward to returning.

We stayed overnight with our 5th wheel trailer. Unlike normal campgrounds this is very short on anything other than electric, water and sewer hookups. There were some interesting memorabilia but nothing much from the "Dukes". That was supposed to be the draw. I hate to say this but we would have been better off at a $30-$40/night campground.

If you need a retreat, a break from the demands of the world, if you’re considering options for Harvest Hosts or airBnB, and you’re a little eccentric and open-minded, I encourage y’all to come dream here a spell.

Very touristy spot with a lot of land but lacking the ability to route traffic into their new theater area efficiently. The overall experience was great, though, despite a few technical difficulties!

Vibrant and fun place with memorable people and chill going round this venue that is on large piece of property in the woods, along the quick current Tickfaw River in Holden, Louisiana. Gift Shop, RV park, ample parking, cabin rentals and more….

My uncle and I just came back from there this past week. The staff Becky and Luke 2 (not Tom Wopat) greeted us with friendly smiles and were excited for us to do the Ride with Bo. We toured the studio seeing the many old vehicles, props, stage, barn (where he and his beloved wife got married), and bamboo forest on Wednesday. Around 5 p.m. Bo (John S) arrived with the sound of the Dixie horn in his General Lee at our cabin. He took us for a ride to his favorite pizza place waving and sounding the horn and showing us places from his recent movies he produces. While there 5 or 6 people came up and asked to get their pictures taking with him and he generously did so. He drove us back and invited us to join him around the campfire with his friends/staff. Billy and Tony the airbrush artist and other staff were really friendly to us. If you loved watching the Dukes I highly recommend the Ride with Bo, meeting his friendly staff, and touring his studio.

The place was nice prices were a little high for the area the Christmas lights was not good at all for $20 a car load but the free ferris wheel ride and carnival food was great

John and his amazing wife, Alicia, or, John's "Smile", as he calls her, are such great hosts! Guests are made to feel so incredibly welcome. They have several adorable air B and B's that they rent out. We have stayed in one of them. Each one an individual, but all designed for the comfort of the guests. There are movies shown almost weekly, all a real treat, and filmed right there at the studio lot! The beautiful Tickfaw river runs right through the property, already gorgeous and so peaceful. There is a general store where guests can buy a variety of goodies and souvenirs, and now and then, you are likely to see someone very familiar driving around the property in an orange car. We are here for the weekend and we have gone swimming, had some great food, and listened to fabulous music. It is definitely the place to go in Livingston!!!!! Thank you, John Schneider Studios!!!

Ordered things online, took a month for them to even fulfill tried getting a refund before they fulfilled it and had 0 responseCan’t get a hold of anyone and after paying a huge amount in shipping I then had to pay another 40.00 when it arrived! The tshirt is horrible quality and not worth the two month wait! Never again and I suggest not ordering anything online from them. Still haven’t had a single reply after 20+ messages to them. Horrible horrible customer service so disappointed and I honestly am super sad because the hubby loves this guy. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!! If I could give 0 stars I would

Sure wish it had been open when we visited. We was still able to walk around and look at some cool stuff. It was interesting knowing that the new museum was being constructed using wood from the old museum that had been demolished by the hurricane.

Stayed an afternoon through Harvest Hosts! Amazing and relaxing place to park our RV. A must for Dukes of Hazzard fans or anyone looking for incredible hospitality. My whole family loved having the resort style pool to ourselves all day!

Just came back from Bo's Extravaganza and had a great time. First time there and will go back. Yes, it really is family fun. Live music all day both days, food, carnival rides, car show, stunts, mud hole to play in for the kiddos, wagon rides, cowboy church, and more.It rained 4" Friday night which did make parking a problem, but they got creative and solved that.Lots of trees and grass.All around fun event.

Best fun for kids and grown ups. Bands were totally awesome. Very clean park area and bathrooms. Food was anazing. We totally enjoyed our self. Kid ROCK was amazing as always. Happy Birthday Jon. We will be back.
