Ok well its ok for a small town but I mean if I go for a certain thing and they don't have it the cashiers look at me like I'm dumb.i work cleaning up houses yards so when I go in a store all sweaty or dirty from a job don't look at me like I'm beneath u or smirk.they got other Shawn's stores but I would not go out my way again .I'll go to shell across street

Was overcharged $100 on a purchase. Me and my son dropped in for some lunch and lady ran my card herself. Noticed my bank account a few days later. Contacted the store and as of 1 1/2 months later no reply. Lost my business after many years!!

I only go here for the deli in the back. I order a fish plate every time I pass through Hessmer. In my opinion they have the best fried fish in this Parish. As far as the front of the store goes, you have to remember this is a gas station and they have the same exorbitant prices as most gas stations do.

Shawn's is the only grocery store in our town so prices are way higher than average but they do sell quality meats and is much easier to get to because they are close.
