The door has tape all over too lazy to take a razor and scrape it off. One register is down with a handwritten note on it. No employees anywhere everything is up for grabs to be stolen. I had to holler to find someone. She told me I had to check myself out that her cashier called in sick. Everyone should be trained on the register. Boxes everywhere, perfect place to trip and file a lawsuit.

Store is a dump. Stock blocking aisles. Employees are never up front at register. For some reason, they cannot sell soda? Years ago, this store was immaculate and the ladies who ran it were sweet. Now, it's a cesspool.

I tried working here the managers didn’t have a care in the world and oh it’s nasty , trashy and they don’t know how to run a store . The bathroom nasty too . Never shopping there again or try to work there lmao ! pls don’t try to work here or shop .

The main register is never working. There’s one self check out and when you have a buggy full of stuff and 12 people standing in line it’s ridiculous. Also, when a 70 something year old is trying to self check out and has no idea how to do it, and there’s not even ever an associate up there to help, that’s also ridiculous. If their main register isn’t working, then the person who would’ve been on the main register should be standing at the self check out checking us out until corporate gets it fixed. Otherwise just shut down the store it’s always in chaos, nasty and trashy anyways.

Store is dirty. Stuff is thrown all through the aisles onto the floor. Prices are not as marked. Rolltainers are blocking entry to aisles. No employees in sight.

The register has been down for weeks. Surely it should be fixed by now. I live right down the street from this location yet I have to drive to the other side of town for a cash register. I don't do self checkout

Love the employee's, so sweet and very helpful but the whole store scares me. Mop water left out that looks very unsanitary, no key to the mens restroom and the ails are always coveted in metal baskets. I went and couldn't reach the item I had intended to get from how covered it was. It needs some work but could be very wonderful place.

Words cannot describe the level of incompetence and laziness of the employees at 120 elm Street location, in Haughton. It's pretty bad when, I live just a mile from this location, but I'm willing to drive 15-25 miles away, just to go to a different Dollar General. I've lived here for 10 years and I cannot tell you when the last time I went into that store and they did not have boxes upon boxes, and those carts full all throughout the store, nothing on the shelves. the employees aren't even making an attempt to stock the shelves. Just hope, IF you decide to go-to this location, hope you don't need a buggy, because you're NOT going to be able to get through any isle.... i promise you this today is the last time I go to that store

Not the best Dollar General I've been to. We just moved to the area and have stopped in a few times, there's pallets and ZBars in the aisle making it difficult/impossible to shop those aisles. I'm assuming it's the Holiday rush and overstock, but still. The parking lot is a nightmare.Very friendly service though and a clean store!

All employees at this store are so pleasant and helpful. The male employee stocking was just wonderful!! I ask him several times where things where. He was pleasant & helpful the whole time. I think he is such an asset to your company!! Thank you!

This is the worst managed store I have ever been in. I have shopped here for 10 years and it gets worse by the day. We are in a viral crisis in this country, no employees wore masks, none requited of customers and NO purchase limit on the number of essential items that may have been stocked. Total mismanagement. ! Parking is also a nightmare.

I applied recently to work at this location. A woman who I assume to be the manager called me back about my application, but was extremely rude and aggravated. I am no expert, but that’s is neither good customer service or good recruiting policy. I dislike leaving bad reviews, but such behavior is unacceptable.

I would really like for someone from Dollar General Headquarters to go into the store at 120 S Elm in Haughton, La. This store is terrifying to even walk into. It is not a problem that has just started. It has to be the dirtiest store I have ever shopped at. I went there for my last time 2 weeks ago. It is so disorganized, more than 4 isle were blocked off by stock carts that were packed so high. I would venture to say almost 6 feet high. ( not exaggerated) It was over my head and I am 5'6". It is a definite safety Hazzard. The people who work there are so rude and that is if you can find an employee. There are usually 2 people in the front and they are very busy. It is a hit and miss on what there attitude will be like. This store is very busy but as I said earlier it is in my opinion a Hazzard to walk into. I would imagine that it has a very high rate of inventory loss. This is all a really bad shame because the store is in a very good area for large volume of sales even for discount stores. I have worked in retail for a long time. You have to have good customer service otherwise why bother. The most important thing to me though is to have a place I can go shop in and it to be stocked with some kind of rhyme and reason and it needs to be clean. Please Dollar General check out your store. I promise you will see what I am talking about.

4 stars because they sell beer and they stay open until 11 PM every night. However, the place is always packed, there is often only one cashier, so the checkout process usually takes longer than it should unfortunately.

The store was actually piled with stock. We were having trouble with my friends card, she was sweet but rushing. The manager wasn't even sure on sales. Surprising actually.

It's easy to pick up things you may have missed when grocery shopping & it's usually cheaper to pick up non edibles. They also carry some groceries.

The parking lot is horrible, people make their own parking spaces. Aisles are filled with stock,not just this one, but all the ones in the area.
